:01:59. > :02:03.is a big day at the zoo. It is a big day for every zoo across the UK,

:02:04. > :02:06.they have to hand count every single animal that they hold. In

:02:07. > :02:11.particular, it will be a difficult job at the zoo because they have

:02:12. > :02:14.over 12,000 animals. It will take over 100 members of staff. The

:02:15. > :02:23.person in charge in making sure it all runs smoothly is Liz. Before we

:02:24. > :02:28.go into how important this is, who is this? Adopt a female jungle

:02:29. > :02:34.nymph, she is quite large so she is easy to count. What challenges to

:02:35. > :02:40.deface? Things like the elephants and orangutans are easy to count,

:02:41. > :02:44.but with a tank of over 10,000 fish you live with the crocodiles, that

:03:59. > :04:02.after restoration work has been completed to fix the damaged engine.

:04:03. > :04:07.After 10 years and over ?4 million spent, it's now going to be tested

:04:08. > :04:10.on the tracks before it's finally ready to carry

:04:11. > :04:15.The train has been restored for York's National Railway Museum

:04:16. > :04:25.The museum bought the locomotive in 2004 thanks to lots of donations.

:04:26. > :04:28.But what they thought was a pretty straightforward job hasn't been that

:04:29. > :04:34.easy and the old steam engine has needed a complete repair.

:04:35. > :04:36.Finished the boiler, we've reunited...

:04:37. > :04:38.There were some problems downstairs with the chassis,

:04:39. > :04:44.It was a step forward and two steps back but we are in

:04:45. > :04:47.The Flying Scotsman set the standards in luxury travel

:04:48. > :04:53.It broke the record as the first engine to reach 100 miles per hour

:04:54. > :05:00.When it was retired from service in the 1960s it was sold,

:05:01. > :05:04.and it went on tour in America and Australia.

:05:05. > :05:07.Over 50 years since it last steamed its way across the UK,

:05:08. > :05:10.it's given a new generation the chance to work on one

:05:11. > :05:17.It's such a privilege to work on such an historic piece

:05:18. > :05:20.My grandad's always asking, what have you done today?

:05:21. > :05:25.He's always asking questions about it.

:05:26. > :05:28.It actually brings us closer together.

:05:29. > :05:30.When the tests are completed, the famous train will be repainted

:05:31. > :05:33.in its traditional green before it starts carrying passengers and goes

:05:34. > :05:37.on display at York's National Railway Museum.

:05:38. > :05:45.Now check out this impressive waterfall that has frozen over.
