0:00:05 > 0:00:09Hi, I'm Ricky, it's Sunday afternoon and this is Newsround.

0:00:09 > 0:00:11Coming up...

0:00:11 > 0:00:14The holiday that's out of this world.

0:00:14 > 0:00:20The secrets of how elephants sleep.

0:00:20 > 0:00:24And find out why these guys in America are shell-ebrating!

0:00:33 > 0:00:36First up and it was a great weekend for tennis

0:00:36 > 0:00:37World Number One Andy Murray.

0:00:37 > 0:00:40The Brit won his first tennis title of the year

0:00:40 > 0:00:44in the United Arab Emirates.

0:00:44 > 0:00:48He beat Spain's Fernando Verdasco in straight sets to win

0:00:48 > 0:00:49the Dubai Championships.

0:00:49 > 0:00:50And he's pretty happy about it!

0:00:50 > 0:00:53So obviously, nice to win again.

0:00:53 > 0:00:57You know, I haven't managed to win this one before.

0:00:57 > 0:00:59I've played here quite a few times so, yeah,

0:00:59 > 0:01:03obviously good to get the first title of the year and, yeah,

0:01:03 > 0:01:05hopefully keep the momentum going the next two weeks.

0:01:05 > 0:01:06Next up, football.

0:01:06 > 0:01:09It was a great day for Liverpool in the Premier League

0:01:09 > 0:01:10as they crushed rivals Arsenal.

0:01:10 > 0:01:14This goal from Winaldum helped Liverpool to a 3-1 win and moved

0:01:14 > 0:01:19them up to third in the league table.

0:01:19 > 0:01:22Next, there are about to be some big changes to how the UK deals

0:01:22 > 0:01:24with its neighbours in Europe.

0:01:24 > 0:01:27It's all because of something you might have heard mentioned

0:01:27 > 0:01:29a lot recently: Brexit.

0:01:29 > 0:01:37Jenny went to Scotland to find out what kids there think.

0:01:37 > 0:01:39Despite what people say, it's not always raining.

0:01:39 > 0:01:42The people are nice and friendly. There's loads to see and do

0:01:42 > 0:01:45and I love the museums.

0:01:47 > 0:01:50Glasgow, Scotland's largest city, where a lot of people have strong

0:01:50 > 0:01:53opinions on the vote that happened last year on whether the UK should

0:01:53 > 0:01:59leave the club of countries called the European Union.

0:01:59 > 0:02:06Across the whole UK, most people voted to leave the year

0:02:06 > 0:02:11Across the whole UK, most people voted to leave the EU

0:02:11 > 0:02:14but here in Scotland, most people wanted to stay in it.

0:02:14 > 0:02:16So what do the children here think now the UK is leaving?

0:02:16 > 0:02:19I think it's kind of bad, because it leaves the UK more

0:02:19 > 0:02:22vulnerable than we are right now, if we don't have the support

0:02:22 > 0:02:24that we used to since we've left the year.

0:02:24 > 0:02:27that we used to since we've left the EU.

0:02:27 > 0:02:29The EU has different rules from what other countries

0:02:29 > 0:02:31have and if we leave, we're not going to be

0:02:31 > 0:02:34following these rules any more, so it might be a bit confusing.

0:02:34 > 0:02:37Yeah, I don't like the fact that we are leaving but I guess it's

0:02:37 > 0:02:39just going to have to happen.

0:02:39 > 0:02:41I think children should have had a say, because it's

0:02:41 > 0:02:42going to affect their future.

0:02:42 > 0:02:46I hope they don't keep going on about it, and if we're

0:02:46 > 0:02:48going to do it, just do it.

0:02:48 > 0:02:51And there's loads more about Brexit and what it all means

0:02:51 > 0:02:54at Newsround online.

0:02:54 > 0:02:57If you think you know everything there is to know about elephants,

0:02:57 > 0:03:01well you'd be wrong.

0:03:01 > 0:03:04Researchers in Botswana have made an exciting new discovery.

0:03:04 > 0:03:05Watch this.

0:03:05 > 0:03:08African elephants already hold the title for largest

0:03:08 > 0:03:12land animal but now, they might be about to break another

0:03:12 > 0:03:15record - for least sleep. Researchers in Botswana found that

0:03:15 > 0:03:19elephants like these guys only need two hours of sleep a night.

0:03:19 > 0:03:23That's roughly 14 hours a week - compared to around 56 hours needed

0:03:23 > 0:03:30for humans and roughly 112 for cats. The study even worked out

0:03:30 > 0:03:31how they're sleeping.

0:03:31 > 0:03:33By placing a monitor in elephants' trunks and fitting a collar

0:03:33 > 0:03:38that detects movement, the researchers found they usually

0:03:38 > 0:03:41snooze standing and only lie down every few nights.

0:03:41 > 0:03:44It's thought elephants sleep so little because they have to be

0:03:44 > 0:03:47on the lookout for danger.

0:03:47 > 0:03:50They also need a lot of food to power their big bodies and prefer

0:03:50 > 0:04:00to spend their time eating or searching for their next snack.

0:04:01 > 0:04:03Now let's dim the lights in the studio for a bit

0:04:03 > 0:04:04of suspense, please.

0:04:04 > 0:04:07It's time for the Conch Shell Blowing Contest.

0:04:07 > 0:04:09Yep, it's an annual contest which takes place

0:04:09 > 0:04:10in Florida in the US.

0:04:10 > 0:04:12Contestants make sounds from these shells, while doing

0:04:12 > 0:04:16weird and wonderful things like hula-hooping.

0:04:17 > 0:04:21And check out the youngest contestant!

0:04:21 > 0:04:24The skills needed to blow a conch shell is just a pucker.

0:04:24 > 0:04:27And just try.

0:04:27 > 0:04:31You know, nothing, any sound you get out of here is awesome.

0:04:31 > 0:04:36So just try and you will be successful.

0:04:36 > 0:04:39Finally, we're talking holidays - in space!

0:04:39 > 0:04:41An American rocket company has said it's going to fly two tourists

0:04:41 > 0:04:43to the Moon next year.

0:04:43 > 0:04:48The announcement's got us pretty excited here at Newsround HQ.

0:04:48 > 0:04:50Hello there, travellers!

0:04:50 > 0:04:52Are you fed up with the same old boring holidays?

0:04:52 > 0:04:55Looking for something a bit different?

0:04:55 > 0:04:59Well, why not try a one-of-a kind destination that's

0:04:59 > 0:05:00out of this world!

0:05:00 > 0:05:04Around 238,000 miles, in fact!

0:05:04 > 0:05:06In case you didn't know, that's about 30 Earths away.

0:05:06 > 0:05:08WOW!

0:05:08 > 0:05:10A top-of-the-range SpaceX rocket will take you

0:05:10 > 0:05:12on a trip around the Moon.

0:05:12 > 0:05:12Not on it!

0:05:12 > 0:05:14You can look but no touching.

0:05:14 > 0:05:18This unique location has not been visited for more than 40 years,

0:05:18 > 0:05:21and has all the thrills, with none of the atmosphere!

0:05:21 > 0:05:26For the small price of a lot of money, Space X are giving two

0:05:26 > 0:05:28lucky holiday-makers the chance to fly around the Moon

0:05:28 > 0:05:30before returning to Earth.

0:05:30 > 0:05:33Like any space travel, there are some risks involved.

0:05:33 > 0:05:35There'll be test flights to check everything's working.

0:05:35 > 0:05:41Make sure you book enough time off - the journey could last a whole week!

0:05:41 > 0:05:48Lift-off is scheduled for 2018, so don't miss out!

0:05:53 > 0:05:54That's all from me.
