0:02:09 > 0:02:14When she got there, she made sure she did all the important things.

0:02:14 > 0:02:18And last night was the big night.

0:02:18 > 0:02:21We're so thrilled to be here, and that we've managed

0:02:21 > 0:02:23to put this subject, which largely isn't talked about,

0:02:23 > 0:02:25in front of a mainstream audience.

0:02:25 > 0:02:31So how are they feeling about the big win?

0:02:31 > 0:02:34The film's writer, Rachel Shenton, says it's amazing to win,

0:02:34 > 0:02:38and she's so proud of the team behind the film for bringing

0:02:38 > 0:02:40the topic of deafness to a huge audience.

0:02:40 > 0:02:42She told us she's surprised Maisie managed to stay awake

0:02:42 > 0:02:44for the announcement, because the ceremony was so late!

0:02:44 > 0:02:47But that she was shouting with excitement.

0:02:47 > 0:02:51What a fantastic achievement!

0:02:51 > 0:02:57Let's hope Maisie wasn't too tired to join in with the celebrations.

0:02:57 > 0:03:00Next, snow has caused problems across the UK,

0:03:00 > 0:03:02but it's a huge problem for those without homes, living

0:03:02 > 0:03:04on the streets.

0:03:04 > 0:03:07Newsround caught up with some students who wanted to do something

0:03:07 > 0:03:09to help the homeless.

0:03:09 > 0:03:11Ladies first.

0:03:11 > 0:03:11OK.

0:03:11 > 0:03:13I'm supposed to go first and you said, "Ladies..."

0:03:13 > 0:03:15Yeah, ladies first, on about myself!

0:03:15 > 0:03:18Oh.

0:03:18 > 0:03:21They're having a mass sleep out in solidarity for young people

0:03:21 > 0:03:24who find themselves homeless.

0:03:24 > 0:03:26We can't replicate what homeless people have to go through,

0:03:26 > 0:03:30because nobody should have to go through that, but we're

0:03:30 > 0:03:32sleeping on the floor and the heating is off,

0:03:32 > 0:03:38and phones, no, MP3 players, none of that, at all.

0:03:38 > 0:03:41I think the most challenging thing that will happen tonight is sleeping

0:03:41 > 0:03:43on the ground because most people, like me, I'm used

0:03:43 > 0:03:46to sleeping on a bed.

0:03:46 > 0:03:50I think the most challenging thing for me is trying to keep warm.

0:03:50 > 0:03:53Tonight, the thing that I'm going to miss the most is my family,

0:03:53 > 0:03:58because I usually have them there.

0:03:58 > 0:04:01I think the students will get a really small flavour of what it

0:04:01 > 0:04:04might be like to sleep without their home comforts,

0:04:04 > 0:04:07put themselves in the shoes of someone who's experiencing life

0:04:07 > 0:04:07on the streets.

0:04:07 > 0:04:10I can't wait until the morning because I'm not going to wake

0:04:10 > 0:04:18up, it's too early, and it's the weekend.

0:04:20 > 0:04:24On a scale of one to ten, I was one.

0:04:24 > 0:04:27It was awful, freezing cold, I was hungry.

0:04:27 > 0:04:30I was about a three.

0:04:30 > 0:04:34I was minus five.

0:04:34 > 0:04:39I think if I was uncomfortable inside on a cold wooden floor,

0:04:39 > 0:04:41then how is it for them when they don't have

0:04:41 > 0:04:44any sort of shelter?

0:04:44 > 0:04:48I think it's going to be ten times, even 100 times harder on people that

0:04:48 > 0:04:50are sleeping outside, with no home, no room, no shelter.

0:04:50 > 0:04:53More people should be taking the time to talk

0:04:53 > 0:04:56to them and try to get them out of homelessness.

0:04:56 > 0:04:59I think it's giving me the best insight because there's no other

0:04:59 > 0:05:06experience to make you feel what they're feeling.

0:05:06 > 0:05:09To football now, and Manchester City are 18 points clear at the top

0:05:09 > 0:05:12of the English Premier League after beating Chelasa 1-0

0:05:12 > 0:05:13at the Etihad Stadium.

0:05:13 > 0:05:16This goal by Bernardo Silva was the only thing that

0:05:16 > 0:05:18seperated the teams.

0:05:18 > 0:05:21Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has been critisised for using negative

0:05:21 > 0:05:22tactics against City, after deciding to play

0:05:22 > 0:05:27without a striker.

0:05:27 > 0:05:29Lionel Messi, the five-time World Footballer of the Year,

0:05:29 > 0:05:31has hit another amazing record.

0:05:31 > 0:05:35This free kick against Atletico Madrid yesterday not only

0:05:35 > 0:05:38sent Barcelona eight points clear in the Spanish league,

0:05:38 > 0:05:40it was also his 600th goal for his club and country.

0:05:40 > 0:05:43He's won eight La Liga titles, four Champions Leagues

0:05:43 > 0:05:49and five Spanish Cups.

0:05:49 > 0:05:51That's it from the Newsround team this morning.

0:05:51 > 0:05:57Ayshah will be back with loads more when you get back from school.

0:05:57 > 0:06:01Enjoy the rest of your day, guys. Buy.
