:00:50. > :00:53.Using a handbike, I'm going to be taking a part of stage one of this
:00:54. > :00:59.That is just a warm up for the cyclists, though, who,
:01:00. > :01:04.on the day, will be travelling 118 miles Leeds to Harrogate.
:01:05. > :01:10.And by the end of the month, the 2276 miles of the Tour.
:01:11. > :01:12.On my Tour challenge, I won't be on my own.
:01:13. > :01:14.Two local cyclists, Adam and Neal, who know
:01:15. > :01:19.We're just going to do a slight rise compared to what the lads
:01:20. > :01:29.It's tough going, but compared to the rest of the Tour, this is flat.
:01:30. > :01:33.The climb on the part I'm cycling is 226 metres,
:01:34. > :01:39.but, in France, riders will be facing climbs of over 2000 metres.
:01:40. > :01:44.I've only done about three miles, maybe went up two hills, at most,
:01:45. > :01:51.but it puts it into context, just how difficult this sport is and
:01:52. > :02:00.So, what do you think it's going to do for somewhere like this?
:02:01. > :02:07.And the hope is that people will come back and cycle, hopefully.
:02:08. > :02:10.You can really feel the buzz in the air in the village, and I
:02:11. > :02:12.think there's a lot of expectation, excitement about how many people
:02:13. > :02:15.are going to be here. It's going to be absolutely
:02:16. > :02:18.It's pretty exciting for Yorkshire, but I think I'll just be taking in
