0:00:11 > 0:00:13Hi, I'm Leah with your Tuesday morning Newsround.

0:00:13 > 0:00:16First - Nasa's Juno spacecraft has successfully gone

0:00:16 > 0:00:23into orbit around Jupiter after an epic five-year journey.

0:00:25 > 0:00:28This was the reaction at Mission Control in the US

0:00:28 > 0:00:31when Juno reached its destination at our solar system's biggest

0:00:31 > 0:00:31planet - which it'll study for the next year and a half.

0:00:36 > 0:00:40It's a huge moment for Nasa and the BBC's Rebecca Morelle was there.

0:00:40 > 0:00:44It's been a really tense few hours here at Mission Control.

0:00:44 > 0:00:47The spacecraft set off five years ago.

0:00:47 > 0:00:51It's travelled 2.8 billion kilometres through the solar system.

0:00:51 > 0:00:55And then basically, it was a make or break moment.

0:00:55 > 0:00:58To get into orbit around Jupiter, it had to slam on its brakes, burn

0:00:58 > 0:01:02its engines for exactly 35 minutes.

0:01:02 > 0:01:05If the engines shut off or they didn't fire for long enough,

0:01:05 > 0:01:08it would have been bouncing out into the deep oblivion of space.

0:01:08 > 0:01:11Luckily, that didn't happen.

0:01:11 > 0:01:14We were there when they got the first signal to say the engine

0:01:14 > 0:01:15burn was working.

0:01:15 > 0:01:17Relief part one!

0:01:17 > 0:01:22And then a second signal exactly 35 minutes later to say the burn

0:01:22 > 0:01:24succeeded as they wanted it to and then there

0:01:24 > 0:01:28was palpable relief here.

0:01:28 > 0:01:31The scientists who we are speaking to, one of them said she actually

0:01:31 > 0:01:33felt physically sick all day today.

0:01:33 > 0:01:38She put so much of her life into working on this mission.

0:01:38 > 0:01:41So over the course of the next weeks, we'll start to see

0:01:41 > 0:01:43pictures coming back and they will be spectacular.

0:01:43 > 0:01:44The closest ever images we've had of Jupiter.

0:01:44 > 0:01:47Features like the great red spots, they should be fabulous.

0:01:47 > 0:01:49Thanks Rebecca.

0:01:49 > 0:01:52Now someone else who should be feeling fabulous is Andy Murray -

0:01:52 > 0:01:54he's through to the last eight of Wimbledon after he saw

0:01:54 > 0:01:58off his friend and number 15 seed Nick Kyrios.

0:01:58 > 0:02:01In the first set it looked like it might be quite

0:02:01 > 0:02:02close between the pair, but Andy powered through

0:02:02 > 0:02:03and dominated after that.

0:02:03 > 0:02:07Andy will now face Frenchman Jo Wilfred Tsonga.

0:02:07 > 0:02:11The Next Step is one of the hottest shows right now and the search

0:02:11 > 0:02:14to find a CBBC viewer to star in it continues.

0:02:14 > 0:02:17Ricky's been to meet one 14-year-old who's made it

0:02:17 > 0:02:20through to the nationals on Taking The Next Step and she's

0:02:20 > 0:02:23got a lot of people talking.

0:02:30 > 0:02:32When I found out that Ricky from Newsround

0:02:32 > 0:02:35was coming to interview me, I was a bit gutted that it wasn't

0:02:35 > 0:02:37one of the other presenters.

0:02:37 > 0:02:42I mean, Martin and Leah are so much better.

0:02:42 > 0:02:47He thinks he can dance but he's really really bad!

0:02:47 > 0:02:50I know Julia thinks she can dance and obviously she can,

0:02:50 > 0:02:53but I think you might be a bit better than her.

0:02:53 > 0:02:54You call that a pirouette?!

0:02:54 > 0:02:58He doesn't know what he's doing.

0:02:58 > 0:03:01Don't worry, I haven't bagged a role on The Next Step.

0:03:01 > 0:03:11But Julia here is hoping she will get to star in the show.

0:03:12 > 0:03:14She's one of the contestants on Taking The Next Step.

0:03:14 > 0:03:17And she's had to overcome huge challenges in her life to get

0:03:17 > 0:03:18to where she is today.

0:03:18 > 0:03:21I want to, like, get every opportunity I can before

0:03:21 > 0:03:22I have an operation, so...

0:03:22 > 0:03:24Oh, what is the operation for?

0:03:24 > 0:03:25On my back.

0:03:25 > 0:03:26OK.

0:03:26 > 0:03:28Julia has a condition called scoliosis, which causes the spine

0:03:28 > 0:03:31in her back to curve the.

0:03:31 > 0:03:33Dancing actually really helps it because it means my

0:03:33 > 0:03:37spine's really flexible.

0:03:37 > 0:03:40It does hurt sometimes, but it just makes me want to push

0:03:40 > 0:03:42through it even more and dance even more.

0:03:42 > 0:03:45What about the fact that when you're older it might stop

0:03:45 > 0:03:46you from doing certain things?

0:03:46 > 0:03:47Do you worry about that?

0:03:47 > 0:03:50Yeah, I do worry, but I try not to think about that.

0:03:50 > 0:03:52I just focus on what I can do now.

0:03:52 > 0:03:55I'm still dancing now, so it's just the way life goes.

0:04:06 > 0:04:16What has the reception been here after seeing you

0:04:17 > 0:04:18you on Taking The Next Step?

0:04:18 > 0:04:21They all loved it and they watched it and I got loads of messages.

0:04:21 > 0:04:23Like, well done, you're amazing.

0:04:23 > 0:04:24They're all really kind.

0:04:24 > 0:04:27Her powerful audition had the judges in tears and now she's onto the next

0:04:27 > 0:04:28step in the competition.

0:04:28 > 0:04:30She continues with her journey on the show.

0:04:30 > 0:04:33And finally, you might want to look away now if you're

0:04:33 > 0:04:34eating your breakfast.

0:04:34 > 0:04:36This is the hot dog eating contest in America and this guy

0:04:36 > 0:04:39Joey Chestnut downed 70 hot dogs in ten minutes to be

0:04:39 > 0:04:40crowned winner.

0:04:40 > 0:04:41Revolting.

0:04:41 > 0:04:44In the women's contest Miki Sudo won by munching on 38 hot dogs

0:04:44 > 0:04:45in ten minutes.
