0:00:04 > 0:00:06Hey guys, I'm Leah with your big stories this Tuesday morning.

0:00:06 > 0:00:08Coming up.

0:00:08 > 0:00:13We meet the Taking the Next Step contestant who's got people talking.

0:00:13 > 0:00:16And the contest that's got these people munching.

0:00:28 > 0:00:30First - Nasa's Juno spacecraft has successfully gone

0:00:30 > 0:00:32into orbit around Jupiter after an epic five-year journey.

0:00:36 > 0:00:38This was the reaction at Mission Control in the US

0:00:38 > 0:00:41when Juno reached its destination at our solar system's biggest

0:00:41 > 0:00:44planet - which it'll study for the next year and a half.

0:00:44 > 0:00:48It's a huge moment for Nasa and the BBC's Rebecca Morelle was there.

0:00:48 > 0:00:52It's been a really tense few hours here at Mission Control.

0:00:52 > 0:00:56The spacecraft set off five years ago.

0:00:56 > 0:00:58It's travelled 2.8 billion kilometres through the solar system.

0:00:58 > 0:01:02And then basically, it was a make or break moment.

0:01:02 > 0:01:05To get into orbit around Jupiter, it had to slam on its brakes, burn

0:01:05 > 0:01:08its engines for exactly 35 minutes.

0:01:08 > 0:01:12If the engines shut off or they didn't fire for long enough,

0:01:12 > 0:01:16it would have been bouncing out into the deep oblivion of space.

0:01:16 > 0:01:19Luckily, that didn't happen.

0:01:19 > 0:01:22We were there when they got the first signal to say the engine

0:01:22 > 0:01:24burn was working.

0:01:24 > 0:01:26Relief part one!

0:01:26 > 0:01:30And then a second signal exactly 35 minutes later to say the burn

0:01:30 > 0:01:34succeeded as they wanted it to and then there

0:01:34 > 0:01:35was palpable relief here.

0:01:35 > 0:01:38The scientists who we are speaking to, one of them said she actually

0:01:38 > 0:01:42felt physically sick all day today.

0:01:42 > 0:01:45She'd put so much of her life into working on this mission.

0:01:45 > 0:01:48So over the course of the next weeks, we'll start to see

0:01:48 > 0:01:50pictures coming back and they will be spectacular.

0:01:50 > 0:01:52The closest ever images we've had of Jupiter.

0:01:52 > 0:01:55Features like the great red spots, they should be fabulous.

0:01:55 > 0:01:56Thanks Rebecca.

0:01:56 > 0:01:59Now someone else who should be feeling fabulous is Andy Murray -

0:01:59 > 0:02:02he's through to the last eight of Wimbledon after he saw

0:02:02 > 0:02:06off his friend and number 15 seed Nick Kyrgios.

0:02:06 > 0:02:08In the first set it looked like it might be quite

0:02:08 > 0:02:10close between the pair, but Andy powered through

0:02:10 > 0:02:12and dominated after that.

0:02:12 > 0:02:16Andy will now face Frenchman Jo Wilfred Tsonga.

0:02:16 > 0:02:21The Duke of Cambridge says people need to stand up,

0:02:21 > 0:02:25not stand by to tackle bullying.

0:02:25 > 0:02:28Prince William has released a video message to support the first

0:02:28 > 0:02:29ever National Stand Up To Bullying Day.

0:02:29 > 0:02:32He's warning that it doesn't just happen at school with new technology

0:02:32 > 0:02:35making it feel never ending.

0:02:35 > 0:02:38Bullying is an issue which can affect anyone of us.

0:02:38 > 0:02:39It is our collective responsibility to be

0:02:39 > 0:02:43alert and to be ready to challenge the behaviour we see around us.

0:02:43 > 0:02:47We all have a role to play to ensure that we do not stand by, but instead

0:02:47 > 0:02:53stand up and put a stop to bullying.

0:02:53 > 0:02:56The Next Step is one of the hottest shows right now and the search

0:02:56 > 0:02:58to find a CBBC viewer to star in it continues.

0:02:58 > 0:03:01Ricky's been to meet one 14-year-old who's made it

0:03:01 > 0:03:03through to the nationals on Taking The Next Step and she's

0:03:03 > 0:03:07got a lot of people talking.

0:03:13 > 0:03:15When I found out that Ricky from Newsround

0:03:15 > 0:03:18was coming to interview me, I was a bit gutted that it wasn't

0:03:18 > 0:03:20one of the other presenters.

0:03:20 > 0:03:25I mean, Martin and Leah are so much better.

0:03:25 > 0:03:30He thinks he can dance but he's really really bad!

0:03:30 > 0:03:32I know Julia thinks she can dance and obviously she can,

0:03:32 > 0:03:35but I think you might be a bit better than her.

0:03:35 > 0:03:40You call that a pirouette?!

0:03:40 > 0:03:41He doesn't know what he's doing.

0:03:41 > 0:03:44Don't worry, I haven't bagged a role on The Next Step.

0:03:44 > 0:03:47But Julia here is hoping she will get to star in the show.

0:03:48 > 0:03:52She's one of the contestants on Taking The Next Step.

0:03:52 > 0:03:55And she's had to overcome huge challenges in her life to get

0:03:55 > 0:04:00to where she is today.

0:04:00 > 0:04:02I want to, like, get every opportunity I can before

0:04:02 > 0:04:03I have an operation, so...

0:04:03 > 0:04:05Oh, what is the operation for?

0:04:05 > 0:04:06On my back.

0:04:06 > 0:04:08OK.

0:04:08 > 0:04:11Julia has a condition called scoliosis, which causes the spine

0:04:11 > 0:04:15in her back to curve the.

0:04:15 > 0:04:17Dancing actually really helps it because it means my

0:04:17 > 0:04:18spine's really flexible.

0:04:18 > 0:04:21It does hurt sometimes, but it just makes me want to push

0:04:21 > 0:04:24through it even more and dance even more.

0:04:24 > 0:04:31What about the fact that when you're older it might stop

0:04:31 > 0:04:32you from doing certain dances?

0:04:32 > 0:04:34Do you worry about that?

0:04:34 > 0:04:36Yeah, I do worry, but I try not to think about that.

0:04:36 > 0:04:39I just focus on what I can do now.

0:04:39 > 0:04:47I'm still dancing now, so it's just the way life goes.

0:04:47 > 0:04:49What has the reception been here after seeing

0:04:49 > 0:04:50you on Taking The Next Step?

0:04:50 > 0:04:54They all loved it and they watched it and I got loads of messages.

0:04:54 > 0:04:55Like, well done, you're amazing.

0:04:55 > 0:04:56They're all really kind.

0:04:56 > 0:04:59Her powerful audition had the judges in tears and now she's onto the next

0:04:59 > 0:05:05step in the competition.

0:05:05 > 0:05:07As she continues with her journey on the show.

0:05:07 > 0:05:10And finally, you might want to look away now if you're

0:05:10 > 0:05:11eating your breakfast.

0:05:11 > 0:05:13This is the hot dog eating contest in America and this guy

0:05:13 > 0:05:16Joey Chestnut downed 70 hot dogs in ten minutes to be

0:05:16 > 0:05:17crowned winner.

0:05:17 > 0:05:18Revolting.

0:05:18 > 0:05:21In the women's contest Miki Sudo won by munching on 38 hot dogs

0:05:21 > 0:05:23in ten minutes.
