:00:15. > :00:16.First: NASA's Juno spacecraft has successfully gone

:00:17. > :00:27.into orbit around Jupiter after an epic five-year journey.

:00:28. > :00:31.It's a huge moment for NASA - this was the reaction

:00:32. > :00:34.at Mission Control in the US when Juno reached its

:00:35. > :00:36.destination at our solar system's biggest planet -

:00:37. > :00:39.which it'll study for the next year and a half.

:00:40. > :00:46.The BBC's Rebecca Morelle sent us this report.

:00:47. > :00:55.This is a set of five years ago and basically it was a make or break

:00:56. > :00:59.moment to get into orbit around Jupiter, it had to slam honours

:01:00. > :01:04.break and bonus engines. It's travelled 2.8 billion

:01:05. > :01:06.kilometres through the solar system. And then basically,

:01:07. > :01:09.it was a make or break moment. To get into orbit around Jupiter,

:01:10. > :01:12.it had to slam on its brakes, burn If the engines shut off

:01:13. > :01:16.or they didn't fire for long enough, it would have been bouncing out

:01:17. > :01:19.into the deep oblivion of space. We were there when they got

:01:20. > :01:23.the first signal to say the engine And then a second signal exactly 35

:01:24. > :01:28.minutes later to say the burn succeeded as they wanted

:01:29. > :01:31.it to and then there The scientists who we are speaking

:01:32. > :01:35.to, one of them said she actually She'd put so much of her life

:01:36. > :01:39.into working on this mission. So over the course of the next

:01:40. > :01:42.weeks, we'll start to see pictures coming back

:01:43. > :01:44.and they will be spectacular. The closest ever images

:01:45. > :01:46.we've had of Jupiter. Features like the great red spots,

:01:47. > :01:48.they should be fabulous. Now, thousands of you will have

:01:49. > :01:51.missed school today after many of your teachers didn't

:01:52. > :01:52.come to work. They were on strike because they're

:01:53. > :01:55.unhappy about how much money is being given to schools and how

:01:56. > :01:58.many children there are in classes. The Government say the strike wasn't

:01:59. > :02:01.needed and say they're spending more Next, it's a huge night

:02:02. > :02:08.in the Euros tomorrow - it's Wales' biggest ever game,

:02:09. > :02:10.but fans will also get to see two of the world's

:02:11. > :02:30.biggest and most expensive Wales fans have just started to

:02:31. > :02:33.arrive ahead of the first-ever semifinal at a major tournament

:02:34. > :02:38.tomorrow night. Don't be afraid to follow your dream is the motto of

:02:39. > :02:42.the Wales manager Chris Coleman. Wales as a nation will be dreaming

:02:43. > :02:47.that their side can make it to the final. This is what Chris Coleman

:02:48. > :02:51.had to say. It doesn't happen overnight for a refund now. The

:02:52. > :03:00.players and the bonds that they have. That togetherness. -- where we

:03:01. > :03:03.are now. It is is to say we have good team spirit and everybody has

:03:04. > :03:08.good team spirit and the shiny day when you went and it has not else

:03:09. > :03:12.been the case for us. That team spirit UC is real, that came from

:03:13. > :03:18.the darker days than it was not so easy for us. To make it to that

:03:19. > :03:20.final they will have to find a way to beat European powerhouses

:03:21. > :03:24.Portugal got one of the best players in the world and the team. He might

:03:25. > :03:31.have heard of them, his name is Cristiano Ronaldo and he has won

:03:32. > :03:34.practically every trophy in his career. This is what the Wales

:03:35. > :03:39.captain Ashley Williams had to say about him. It is obviously he is one

:03:40. > :03:42.of the greatest players the world but they do have other weapons that

:03:43. > :03:46.teams were not obsessing over him and we do our work and pay them the

:03:47. > :03:57.respect they deserve and we will try to nullify them as a team as we have

:03:58. > :04:05.done Alterman. -- Alterman. -- all to lament. A lot of people are

:04:06. > :04:13.talking about Cristiano Ronaldo going head-to-head with Gareth Bale.

:04:14. > :04:22.It is 11 men against 11 men and a semifinal. If you want to know about

:04:23. > :04:31.bail versus Ronaldo you can go online. -- Gareth Bale. I will be

:04:32. > :04:32.back tomorrow morning with what is said to be a historic semifinal for

:04:33. > :04:37.Wales. Iceland's footy team have

:04:38. > :04:39.returned home from Euro 2016 The small island nation reached

:04:40. > :04:42.the quarter-finals in their first ever major tournament -

:04:43. > :04:49.knocking England out on the way. Thousands of fans came out

:04:50. > :04:54.to do their famous clapping chant. That's all from me,

:04:55. > :05:00.Newsround's back right
