:00:00. > :00:07.Good morning. Leah here with your morning Newsround, with news of

:00:08. > :00:10.Liverpool's agony as their Premier League hopes slipped away last

:00:11. > :00:14.night. And if you thought snooker was

:00:15. > :00:20.borin, think again zero this is how they celebrate!

:00:21. > :00:29.-- if you thoughts -- if you thought snooker was boring, think again.

:00:30. > :00:32.But first, an international group of doctors has warned the spread of the

:00:33. > :00:35.very serious disease, polio, has become a global health emergency.

:00:36. > :00:38.Polio worst affects young children, but it can be prevented with a

:00:39. > :00:42.simple vaccine and is almost never found in this country. It had been

:00:43. > :00:44.virtually stamped out worldwide, but countries like Pakistan and

:00:45. > :00:47.Afghanistan have seen rises in recent years. Now the World Health

:00:48. > :00:51.Organisation is calling for urgent action by the governments of these

:00:52. > :00:58.countries to use vaccines and stop the disease in its tracks. If this

:00:59. > :01:01.situation right now is not addressed, one of the deadliest

:01:02. > :01:05.diseases in history as the opportunity to research and we could

:01:06. > :01:12.use the opportunity to eradicate this disease -- has the opportunity

:01:13. > :01:14.for a resurgence and we could lose the opportunity.

:01:15. > :01:18.Andy Murray joined other tennis stars for a minute's silence at the

:01:19. > :01:21.Madrid Masters event last night in memory of former British number one

:01:22. > :01:24.Elena Baltacha. Known as Bally to her friends, she died of liver

:01:25. > :01:27.cancer at the weekend, aged 30. Football now and Liverpool's Premier

:01:28. > :01:31.League title hopes took a hammer blow last night as they watched a

:01:32. > :01:34.3-0 lead over Crystal Palace slip away. Liverpool's players and fans

:01:35. > :01:37.were left distraught after Palace scored three times in the last

:01:38. > :01:40.eleven minutes to draw 3-3 - leaving Luis Suarez in tears at the final

:01:41. > :01:46.whistle. Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says his side's dreams of

:01:47. > :01:50.winning the league are over. You have got to have that maturity and

:01:51. > :01:57.management in the game to see it through, and we didn't do that. As I

:01:58. > :02:00.said, it was bitterly disappointing. Manchester city have

:02:01. > :02:04.two home games and I would expect them to go and win it now.

:02:05. > :02:07.Now if you've got a Joe Hart, Ronaldo and maybe a Jake Wilshire,

:02:08. > :02:13.you're football cards are probably looking pretty healthy. How did

:02:14. > :02:16.Martin get in there? We're talking footie trading cards and with the

:02:17. > :02:20.World Cup starting next month, some of you might be busy swapping these

:02:21. > :02:23.and getting hold of the best ones can sometimes be frustrating! So

:02:24. > :02:27.Ricky's been to the City of London on the hunt for some tips from the

:02:28. > :02:32.experts. The city of London, home to some of

:02:33. > :02:35.the world's biggest banks. Every day, these men and women buy and

:02:36. > :02:40.sell all kinds of things to make money for themselves and the massive

:02:41. > :02:45.companies they work for. Getting the right deal can make or break a city

:02:46. > :02:50.trader. The trading floor might look like a very frantic and chaotic

:02:51. > :02:55.place but it is basically a group of people who are buying and selling

:02:56. > :03:00.different things, from currencies to oil, coal, gold and other metals. To

:03:01. > :03:03.be good at it, you have got to be one step ahead of the game. This

:03:04. > :03:06.kind of trading might be a world away from what you get up to in the

:03:07. > :03:12.playground, but there are some similarities. I have come here to

:03:13. > :03:18.find out what it takes to be a top trader in town. More importantly, in

:03:19. > :03:22.the playground. First of all, do your research, know your market, no

:03:23. > :03:25.what cards are out there, what are the good cards, what are the not so

:03:26. > :03:31.good cards, what are their strengths and weaknesses. We have Wayne Rooney

:03:32. > :03:35.here, what can I do to make sure I get the best card in return for

:03:36. > :03:39.this? You need to get these desperate buyers together and create

:03:40. > :03:43.a bit of an auction. Create a bit of excitement, get a bidding war going

:03:44. > :03:48.on in the playground, maybe. So, I have got Wayne Rooney, what are you

:03:49. > :03:53.prepared to bid for Wayne Rooney, and get them competing against each

:03:54. > :03:57.other. And remember, think before you swap, don't do something you

:03:58. > :04:00.might later regret. Sometimes you need to sleep on a decision. Things

:04:01. > :04:06.might look very different in the morning. There you have it, some top

:04:07. > :04:14.tips on how to be the perfect card trader. I have some work to do. What

:04:15. > :04:18.do you mean, wrong number? Now if you thought the game of

:04:19. > :04:22.snooker was a quiet affair - it really isn't. That was the Mark

:04:23. > :04:28.Selby beat Ronnie O'Sullivan to become World Champion last night.

:04:29. > :04:35.The crowds went wild. Selby came from behind to take the title and

:04:36. > :04:39.the ?300,000 in prize money. It's his first world crown and takes him

:04:40. > :04:43.back to number one in the rankings. And last up - we all know kittens

:04:44. > :04:47.are fun to play with, but how about lion cubs? The pair of cute cubs

:04:48. > :04:50.were born a few weeks ago at Fuji Safari park in Japan and have been

:04:51. > :04:54.entertaining visitors. Their keepers say that while they're this tiny,

:04:55. > :04:56.it's OK to have a cuddle with them, before they grow too big and

:04:57. > :04:59.dangerous! That's it - Newsround's back right

:05:00. > :05:01.here in about half an hour, with
