:00:29. > :00:32.Jenny's been to meet school teams from around the UK who've been

:00:33. > :00:36.finding out just that, in a cosmic competition.

:00:44. > :00:47.inside, but how do engineers make it happen?

:00:48. > :00:50.These students have been learning to make their own mini-rockets

:00:51. > :00:53.with some expert help and there is only a little time left

:00:54. > :00:57.34 school teams from across the country have

:00:58. > :00:59.been taking part in the UK Rocketry Challenge

:01:00. > :01:05.Teams have to build, launch and land a rocket safely.

:01:06. > :01:07.It's got to get high enough in the air and

:01:08. > :01:09.keep flying for long enough and all the time

:01:10. > :01:14.keeping its contents, two raw eggs, safe and secure.

:01:15. > :01:17.I'm really nervous but I'm really excited at the same time.

:01:18. > :01:20.Probably the most fun bit for me would be when you get

:01:21. > :01:23.We have already been to the regional finals

:01:24. > :01:25.and launched our rocket and it came fourth.

:01:26. > :01:27.We've built it, made it better and hopefully

:01:28. > :01:33.You don't launch when there are people around, cars around,

:01:34. > :01:38.aeroplanes around or animals around because you can scare animals.

:01:39. > :01:42.It has to be done responsibly and with adults.

:01:43. > :02:00.I'm really happy the parachute came out,

:02:01. > :02:02.otherwise it would have just crashed.

:02:03. > :02:04.The winners will now be heading to Farnborough Airshow

:02:05. > :02:12.in July to compete against teams from around the world.
