:00:20. > :00:28.Hello, it's the middle of the week, but this is no middle-of-the-range
:00:28. > :00:31.show. You're watching Newsround. Sonali and Ore in the hotseat for
:00:31. > :00:41.you today. Thanks for stopping by. Here's what's on the way. Rupert
:00:41. > :00:44.Grint tells us how he feels about the end of the Potter films. And we
:00:44. > :00:49.were at an emergency warehouse to find out why all this is heading to
:00:49. > :00:52.some of the worst-affected countries in East Africa. But first,
:00:52. > :00:54.it's a huge scandal involving spying on phones, the police and
:00:54. > :00:57.one of Britain's biggest newspapers. Journalists at the News Of The
:00:57. > :01:01.World have already been caught out secretly listening to the voicemail
:01:01. > :01:08.of celebs to get juicy stories. But now, it seems they may have gone
:01:08. > :01:13.further, by listening in on the victims of serious crimes. It's the
:01:13. > :01:17.type of thing you get in spy films - a dodgy private vector hacking
:01:17. > :01:20.into people's phones to find out their secrets, and then selling
:01:20. > :01:23.them to journalists. But it's real and it's been used to get
:01:23. > :01:28.information about Prince William and other famous people, too.
:01:28. > :01:33.Hacking into phones against the law and the papers' reporters could be
:01:33. > :01:36.in big trouble if the claims are true. But now it's got much more
:01:36. > :01:40.serious, because ordinary people who are victims of crimes say
:01:40. > :01:43.they've been hacked too. In one case people listened to messages by
:01:43. > :01:47.parents desperately trying to find their missing daughter Another,
:01:47. > :01:50.it's claimed that messages left by parents trying to find out whether
:01:50. > :01:54.their children had been caught up in a terrorist attack in London
:01:54. > :01:59.were hacked into as well. To think that when you are at the lowest
:01:59. > :02:05.time of your life that somebody, for the sake of a cheap story, may
:02:05. > :02:09.be looking at you, is beyond words. It is just literally horrendous.
:02:09. > :02:14.The fact this has all come out is very serious for the owners of the
:02:14. > :02:17.News Of The World. The car company Ford has pulled all its ads from
:02:17. > :02:21.the newspaper and other big companies might follow. They don't
:02:21. > :02:25.want to be associate twd the paper. The police are investigating, and
:02:25. > :02:29.members are Parliament are very angry. More and more people are
:02:29. > :02:33.finding out they may have been victims of hacking. Nobody knows
:02:33. > :02:36.yet how this story will end. This week, we've been talking about
:02:36. > :02:40.the drought in East Africa that's forced hundreds of thousands of
:02:40. > :02:42.people to leave their homes to look for food and water. Up to 10
:02:42. > :02:45.million people in Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya are affected, and
:02:45. > :02:48.charities are warning that unless more aid gets there, people could
:02:48. > :02:58.starve to death. So, what is Britain doing to help?
:02:58. > :03:02.
:03:02. > :03:07.Ricky's been to visit the charity, Oxfam, to find out. This wair house
:03:07. > :03:14.is full of life-saving supplies. You have plastic mats and water
:03:14. > :03:19.tanks. It's been packaged up and soon it will be sent to Kenya,
:03:19. > :03:24.Somalia and Ethiopia. When the guys from Oxfam get that important phone
:03:24. > :03:30.call it takes about 48 hours to get this stuff sent out to the
:03:30. > :03:34.countries. They use a special aeroplane, a chartered flight. It
:03:34. > :03:39.doesn't take long. Let me show you what think will be sending. This is
:03:39. > :03:44.a giant water tank. It holds 70,000 litres of water. But this is the
:03:44. > :03:47.more common type you will find out there. It holds 11,000 litres. It
:03:47. > :03:52.is easy to put together. And you have simple things like this - a
:03:52. > :03:58.buck pet, which is important. Hygiene, afternoon, to make sure
:03:58. > :04:02.you can wash your hands, and portable toilets. How come once
:04:02. > :04:06.again we are having to sends supplies to countries in Africa?
:04:06. > :04:10.This is the worst drought we've seen in the 21st century. People
:04:10. > :04:16.are very desperate. They've run out of what little they have. They
:04:16. > :04:19.really, really need help now. the crisis worsens in East Africa
:04:19. > :04:24.charities are working round the clock to get as much help to the
:04:24. > :04:30.families out there. The help is arriving, but so are thousands more
:04:30. > :04:32.refugees, desperately trying to stay alive.
:04:32. > :04:35.Thank you Ricky. You probably wouldn't want to share
:04:35. > :04:39.the waters with them. But, when it comes to sharks, actually we're
:04:39. > :04:42.more of a threat to them. That's why a new ban on fishing for sharks
:04:42. > :04:52.has been brought in in the Bahamas. Wildlife experts say it'll help
:04:52. > :04:57.
:04:57. > :04:59.stop the animals from becoming extinct.
:04:59. > :05:02.If like me you've ever dreamt of becoming a professional footballer,
:05:02. > :05:05.you'd love this to happen to you. Seven-year-old Kai has had his
:05:05. > :05:08.footie skills spotted by none other than European Champions Barcelona.
:05:08. > :05:11.He was on holiday and joined in a kickabout outside the club's Nou
:05:11. > :05:14.camp stadium. Scouts from Barca's youth team were watching and asked
:05:14. > :05:18.Kai to come back and try out for their under-eight's team. He'll
:05:18. > :05:24.have to wait a few weeks to find out if he's made it in. I wonder if
:05:24. > :05:27.I hang around outside Old Trafford the same thing might happen to me!
:05:27. > :05:31.Harry Potter and Newsround have a long history - we've been there
:05:31. > :05:34.right from the start. But in just 24 hours, it'll all be over! We'll
:05:34. > :05:37.be live on the red carpet for the final premiere, Deathly Hallows
:05:37. > :05:45.Part Two, tomorrow, but before that, Ricky's been catching up with the
:05:45. > :05:51.stars of the films. Today he's hanging out with Rupert Grint.
:05:51. > :05:56.Confront your fate. Rupert, thank you for talking to
:05:57. > :06:01.Newsround on the last ever Harry Potter film. How are you feeling?
:06:01. > :06:05.I'm good. It's really weird that it is the last. It doesn't seem real
:06:05. > :06:09.to me. There must be a bit of a sense of relief, I guess? It is
:06:09. > :06:15.kind of nice to have a bit of freedom now and to have a chance to
:06:15. > :06:21.catch up with life really. I don't usually look back really on the
:06:21. > :06:26.early films or any of the films. Did you watch them? No, I don't, I
:06:26. > :06:31.don't watch them at all. It is only occasionally when I see glimpses of
:06:31. > :06:36.TV. Let's remind you what you looked like back then. Newsround
:06:36. > :06:40.played a big part in you getting the role. You heard about getting
:06:40. > :06:47.the role on the show. This this is your first world exclusive
:06:47. > :06:51.interview on Newsround. No way! I found out that you could audition
:06:51. > :06:56.by sending a picture of yourself with some information to Newsround.
:06:56. > :07:02.Di my own video, pretending to be my drama teacher, who unfortunately
:07:02. > :07:07.was a girl. And I made my own script and sent it off. What is it
:07:07. > :07:13.like watching that? It is so weird. Yeah? Yeah. You haven't changed.
:07:13. > :07:20.Just a bit of stubble. That's right, yeah. It's been such a long time
:07:20. > :07:26.really. When I first started, to seeing that. You kind of feel it
:07:26. > :07:30.then. You just go into things with real energy. Yeah. At that time, it
:07:30. > :07:34.was such an exciting time. Great memories of that.
:07:35. > :07:38.I think Ricky was more excited at that than Rupert.
:07:38. > :07:41.And just before we go, check out these amazing pictures of a giant
:07:41. > :07:44.dust storm in Arizona in the USA. No, it's not a Hollywood disaster
:07:44. > :07:48.movie. Strong winds over Phoenix whipped up this giant cloud of dust,
:07:48. > :07:50.which was 50 miles wide in parts. As you can imagine, it made seeing
:07:50. > :07:56.pretty difficult, which meant flights couldn't take off or land.
