:00:10. > :00:14.Newsround of today. On the way: A series win for The Lions in

:00:14. > :00:24.Australia. And just for you, a very cute and

:00:24. > :00:32.

:00:32. > :00:37.pretty rare baby snow leopard. First - we finally have some sunny

:00:37. > :00:40.weather. For lots of us today it's shaping up to be the hottest one

:00:40. > :00:43.this year. Sorry if you're in north-west Scotland, though, where

:00:44. > :00:47.it's been raining. But many other parts of the UK will be as hot as

:00:47. > :00:50.Majorca in Spain, hitting highs of 26 degrees. The best sunshine is in

:00:50. > :00:53.the South East. But not everyone loves the heat - many animals find

:00:53. > :00:56.it difficult to cope including the penguins over at London Zoo, who

:00:56. > :00:59.need extra help cooling down. The keepers are serving up a fish ice

:00:59. > :01:04.lollies. They also help to keep the water cool. I don't think they will

:01:04. > :01:08.catch on with us humans. The British and Irish Lions have won

:01:08. > :01:11.their rugby series in Australia. They won the third and final Test in

:01:11. > :01:14.Sydney easily by 41 points to 16. The Lions scored three tries in the

:01:14. > :01:18.second half alone and it's their first overall series win for 16

:01:18. > :01:28.years. James Bond star Daniel Craig has even been celebrating with the

:01:28. > :01:29.

:01:29. > :01:32.team in their dressing room. Sticking with sports news and in

:01:32. > :01:35.cricket, England will name their squad for the first Ashes Test

:01:35. > :01:38.against Australia later this afternoon. One man certain to be in

:01:38. > :01:44.the side is wicketkeeper Matt Prior. Martin caught up with the man behind

:01:44. > :01:48.the stumps to find out what he makes of England's chances.

:01:48. > :01:52.For cricket fans, there is only one thing on their mind. The Ashes

:01:52. > :01:59.series between England and Australia. This guy is a pretty big

:01:59. > :02:05.deal. For any England cricketer, to be a part of the Ashes is the

:02:05. > :02:09.biggest thing. It is really exciting, everyone is really looking

:02:09. > :02:16.forward to it. You can feel the pressure and tension building

:02:16. > :02:21.already. I don't know if I like the word favourites. Any Ashes series is

:02:21. > :02:27.tough and the Australians are a really good cricket team so we will

:02:27. > :02:32.have to play really well to win. I would say Graeme Swann and James

:02:32. > :02:36.Anderson as a double act are pretty funny. They keep us going on a long

:02:36. > :02:41.day, especially when it's raining and things are a little boring. I am

:02:41. > :02:45.really confident in our team. We have fantastic players, guys who

:02:45. > :02:49.have broken records. Alastair Cook has the most test centuries out of

:02:49. > :02:55.any England cricketer. James Anderson has more international

:02:55. > :02:59.wickets than any England cricketer. We have guys in our team who I am

:02:59. > :03:08.sure will perform well. If we perform well as a team, which is the

:03:08. > :03:11.most important thing, I am sure we will have success.

:03:11. > :03:14.In other news abroad - there's been more violence in Egypt. At least 30

:03:14. > :03:17.people are thought to have been killed in trouble across the

:03:17. > :03:20.country. It's after president Mohammed Morsi was kicked out of his

:03:20. > :03:23.job earlier this week. There had been huge protests and now days of

:03:23. > :03:26.fighting between the people that support him, the people that don't

:03:27. > :03:30.and the army who are trying to keep control.

:03:30. > :03:33.Next, the amazing rescue of a puppy in America trapped under a car

:03:33. > :03:36.bonnet It's not known how he got there but rescuers got him out in

:03:36. > :03:39.under two minutes and say he was exhausted but survived without a

:03:40. > :03:47.scratch. The pup was stuck for ten miles before anyone realised he was

:03:47. > :03:51.there. Showbiz now and you may have that

:03:51. > :03:54.Jessie J is leaving The Voice. She says she wants to concentrate on

:03:54. > :03:57.promoting her new album and touring the world. Bosses on the show now

:03:57. > :04:00.have the job of finding her replacement and loads of you have

:04:00. > :04:10.been e-mailing in with who you think it should be. Chloe in Staffordshire

:04:10. > :04:25.

:04:25. > :04:29.thinks Katy Perry would be great to about our inventions competition,

:04:29. > :04:32.Absolute Genius - next week we will be showing you the results but

:04:32. > :04:39.first, here's a wee taster! Next week. We are here to introduce you

:04:39. > :04:49.to our new invention. It is the final of newsround's brand-new

:04:49. > :04:49.

:04:50. > :04:52.inventions competition. Nearly 500 primary school teams entered. Now

:04:52. > :05:01.four finalists pitch their inventions to our special panel of

:05:01. > :05:08.judges. This is going to be pretty tough. It is a genius idea.

:05:08. > :05:16.winner of you, too, can be an absolute genius, is...

:05:16. > :05:19.It all starts on Monday morning on newsround.

:05:19. > :05:23.Now to a rare glimpse of baby snow leopards at a Zoo in the West

:05:23. > :05:25.Midlands. She was born nine weeks ago but keepers at Dudley Zoo are

:05:25. > :05:29.only now showing her off. They've called her Nidara, which means

:05:29. > :05:32."fearless" in Hindi. Before then she was known as Cub X because nobody

:05:32. > :05:35.knew if she was male or female. Just before we go, as Wimbledon

:05:35. > :05:38.draws to a close this weekend, the nation has high hopes for British

:05:38. > :05:42.number one Andy Murray, who is through to the men's final tomorrow.

:05:42. > :05:45.But in the next hour, all eyes will be on Sabine Lisicki from Germany

:05:45. > :05:48.and Marion Bartoli from France in the women's final. It's the first

:05:48. > :05:52.major final for Lisicki, and Bartoli will be hoping to put her 2007 final
