:00:21. > :00:25.First to Ukraine in Eastern Europe, where a ceasefire has stopped

:00:26. > :00:31.the fighting between government forces and pro-Russia rebels.

:00:32. > :00:35.There had been fighting in the east of the country

:00:36. > :00:39.since April because some people there want the eastern parts of

:00:40. > :00:48.But on Friday the two sides called a truce and so far there have been

:00:49. > :00:51.Leaders say they now want to work towards finding

:01:03. > :01:05.Next to the American island state of Hawaii where lava flowing

:01:06. > :01:08.from a big volcano is threatening people's homes.

:01:09. > :01:11.Officials have declared a state of emergency on Hawaii's Big Island,

:01:12. > :01:15.so they can get people living there, to safety.

:01:16. > :01:17.The volcano's been erupting continuously for more than 30 years,

:01:18. > :01:21.but back in June this year lava began coming

:01:22. > :01:28.No-one's been hurt and the authorities say they will keep

:01:29. > :01:31.an eye on where the lava's flowing to make sure everyone is safe.

:01:32. > :01:39.But you might not expect to bump into one of the most powerful

:01:40. > :01:56.The president of the United States finished a busy week in Wales when

:01:57. > :02:05.he decided to take a look around Stonehenge yesterday. This family

:02:06. > :02:14.where sightseeing and it became more about the self these. Later they

:02:15. > :02:18.said the president was awesome. The president said seeing Stonehenge has

:02:19. > :02:26.ticked one thing of his lifetime to do list. Spectacular, isn't it?

:02:27. > :02:29.Two women in America have described the moment they came face-to-face

:02:30. > :02:33.They had been out kayaking off the coast of Massachussetts to

:02:34. > :02:36.take pictures of seals, when one of them was knocked

:02:37. > :02:39.into the water by the big fish, who took a big bite out of their kayak.

:02:40. > :02:45.Both of them got away unharmed, but were shaken by the experience.

:02:46. > :02:48.It came directly out of the water, underneath the boat, watched her

:02:49. > :02:55.I was talking to her, and next thing I am in the water

:02:56. > :02:58.and I see a shark as close as you are to me biting my kayak.

:02:59. > :03:01.It was a dark grey, pointy nose, big teeth, big eye,

:03:02. > :03:08.To Formula One now and the Italian Grand Prix takes place this

:03:09. > :03:12.weekend, with the massive rivalry between Britain's Lewis Hamilton

:03:13. > :03:14.and team mate Nico Rosberg, still the big talking point.

:03:15. > :03:17.Qualifying for the race starts in about an hour's time, that's live on

:03:18. > :03:20.BBC One - these are pictures from the final practice session this

:03:21. > :03:23.morning where Lewis Hamilton was fastest, and Rosberg had to pull out

:03:24. > :03:31.The two Mercedes drivers are battling it out for the world

:03:32. > :03:33.championship, and with just a few races left, Nico Rosberg's

:03:34. > :03:36.Next - between them, top swimmers Ellie Simmonds and

:03:37. > :03:39.Ollie Hynd both won gold medals at the recent European Championships

:03:40. > :03:45.And this month they're trying to get more people to take up

:03:46. > :03:48.the sport through a series of fun swimming relays across Britain.

:03:49. > :03:56.The Newsround audience know you for getting medal after medal.

:03:57. > :03:58.You got a gold at the Commonwealth Games and

:03:59. > :04:09.Very busy but I have achieved all my goals so I'm really happy with

:04:10. > :04:17.To be this good you guys must really put in the hours in the pool, what

:04:18. > :04:25.For me I am in the pool eight or nine times a week for two hours.

:04:26. > :04:27.Logging between 40,000 and 50,000 metres.

:04:28. > :04:31.I train eight sessions a week and on top of that we have to do the gym,

:04:32. > :04:42.all the support groups, psychology, biomechanics things like that,

:04:43. > :04:48.A lot of hours and effort but then the outcome is competitions

:04:49. > :05:04.want to know what top tips you have for them about how to make it?

:05:05. > :05:06.There are loads of sacrifices that you're going to have to give but

:05:07. > :05:10.just find out what you enjoy the most as and where your talent lies.

:05:11. > :05:14.Just go out there and train or do whatever you want and enjoy it.

:05:15. > :05:17.It is not easy but the outcome is worth it in the end.

:05:18. > :05:20.You meet so many amazing people so they don't have to be Olympic

:05:21. > :05:23.champions, just taking part is important as well.

:05:24. > :05:25.Now to a warning of giant slimy proportions.

:05:26. > :05:29.Massive slugs up to 6 inches long - that's the size of my hand -

:05:30. > :05:31.are taking over Britain's green spaces, eating plants,

:05:32. > :05:36.It's thought the beasties have been carried over

:05:37. > :05:41.They are munching plants in people's gardens in south

:05:42. > :05:44.and central England and the normal slug pellets gardeners

:05:45. > :05:52.It's hoped they will be stopped by the cold weather in the winter - but

:05:53. > :05:55.if you see any around then watch yourself - they're pretty slimy.
