:00:27. > :00:29.still at risk of flooding today as large waves continue to batter the

:00:30. > :00:33.coasts of southern and western Britain. There are more than 100

:00:34. > :00:37.flood warnings across the country, with heavy rain forecast for south

:00:38. > :00:40.and south-east England. There are three severe warnings in Dorset,

:00:41. > :00:51.which means there's a danger to life. In the Welsh coastal town of

:00:52. > :00:55.Aberystwyth, one of the worst-hit areas, people are starting to clear

:00:56. > :00:57.up the mess that's been caused by the storm. Newsround has been

:00:58. > :01:01.speaking to children living there. Some of them had to leave their

:01:02. > :01:07.homes for safety. On Friday night, we were evacuated. Me and my sisters

:01:08. > :01:13.had to go to my grandmothers. I wasn't scared. There were bricks and

:01:14. > :01:20.stones everywhere. I was really upset because we play on the front a

:01:21. > :01:25.lot in the summer. Everything was blown up. Everything was just

:01:26. > :01:29.damaged. All the railings were knocked off and the tiles were blown

:01:30. > :01:33.away, the flower beds were wrecked. There was sand all over the road.

:01:34. > :01:38.They must have been a huge storm. And Jenny has been down there all

:01:39. > :01:41.day watching the clear up. How long do you think it will take until

:01:42. > :01:47.things are back to normal? We've only just started today. We are

:01:48. > :01:51.starting on the clearing and we don't know how long it is going to

:01:52. > :01:55.take until we get into the work. It will take weeks to do the work and

:01:56. > :01:59.longer to do the repairs afterwards. Over on the other side of the

:02:00. > :02:01.Atlantic Ocean, the Arctic blast that's sweeping across North America

:02:02. > :02:05.is now heading east towards New York. Half of the US has been

:02:06. > :02:09.affected by the windy chill, with people being told their skin could

:02:10. > :02:15.freeze if they go outside! In one part of mid America, temperatures

:02:16. > :02:18.have hit minus 30 degrees Celsius. Forecasters say it hasn't been this

:02:19. > :02:21.cold in 20 years. And you can check out some stunning

:02:22. > :02:24.pictures of America's big freeze right now over on the Newsround

:03:04. > :03:06.things around the house from whether you've brushed your teeth to what

:03:07. > :03:09.time you get home from school. It gathers the data and downloads it

:03:10. > :03:14.onto a computer. So your parents know just how long you've really

:03:15. > :03:20.spent cleaning your teeth. Take a look at the latest drone flying high

:03:21. > :03:23.above the sky in Las Vegas. Experts reckon these unmanned arial vehicles

:04:19. > :04:21.charts. It was released in a slightly different way, with a

:04:22. > :04:24.different track coming out each week over three months. All of the

:04:25. > :04:29.Canadian singer's previous albums have made the top 20.

:04:30. > :04:33.Now we had to show you this next footage. We've all heard the jokes

:04:34. > :04:41.about why the chicken crossed the road. Well, these chickens, should

:04:42. > :04:45.they want to, can now cross a little bit more safely maybe. Thanks to one

:04:46. > :04:48.of these hi-vis jackets! The company behind them claim they keep the

:04:49. > :04:52.chickens warm and dry and make it easier for owners to see where they
