:00:00. > :00:07.I'm Ricky, with Newsround this Friday.

:00:08. > :00:11.We find out why girls clothes are making Daisy cross.

:00:12. > :00:14.And the earliest known journey by man and his dog

:00:15. > :00:35.The storm has now passed the Caribbean islands of The Bahamas.

:00:36. > :00:41.And it's due to hit the Florida in the United States today.

:00:42. > :00:44.Around 2 million people have been told to move away from the sea to

:00:45. > :00:47.keep them safe. BBC weatherman Simon King

:00:48. > :00:49.is here now to explain. Just how big and powerful is

:00:50. > :00:58.Hurricane Matthew? It is a category three Hurricane.

:00:59. > :01:04.That is on a scale up to five. It is one of the biggest Hurricane is to

:01:05. > :01:15.hit America in a while. Even though wins will be 120 mph,

:01:16. > :01:18.the floods will be the problem. Water inland flooding properties.

:01:19. > :01:27.It is about 40 miles away from Florida. It is going to hit Cape

:01:28. > :01:32.Canaveral. That is all the spacecraft go up into space. Thank

:01:33. > :01:34.you for coming in. One of the first countries to be hit

:01:35. > :01:37.by hurricane Matthew was Haiti. And, so far, over 300 people

:01:38. > :01:40.are known to have died, with many thousands more unable

:01:41. > :01:42.to return to their homes, after the storm wrecked homes

:01:43. > :01:44.and caused massive flooding. Charities and aid workers

:01:45. > :01:46.in the region are working hard to provide essentials like food,

:01:47. > :01:49.shelter and clean water for people. We have seen a lot of houses

:01:50. > :01:52.being damaged and destroyed. Right now, our biggest concern

:01:53. > :01:54.is some of the overcrowded shelters, where tens of thousands

:01:55. > :01:56.of people are residing At this moment, our biggest

:01:57. > :02:01.concern is the sanitation, water and hygiene conditions

:02:02. > :02:04.of the people living there. We are trying to provide emergency

:02:05. > :02:07.supplies, so that the families and children there can have

:02:08. > :02:13.access to clean water. And to supplies that will help them,

:02:14. > :02:16.like blankets, bed sheets, Moving forward, we are concerned

:02:17. > :02:21.about the situation for children, because the hurricane has brought

:02:22. > :02:24.a lot of devastation. We are seeing schools

:02:25. > :02:27.being damaged, roads are blocked. or other water-borne

:02:28. > :02:33.or mosquito-borne diseases, Next, when you go shopping

:02:34. > :02:40.for new clothes, do you notice anything different about

:02:41. > :02:46.boys and girls clothes? Well, 8-year-old Daisy was shopping

:02:47. > :02:49.with her Mum in a Tesco store when she says she saw

:02:50. > :02:51.a big difference in the boys

:02:52. > :02:53.and girls clothes. Here's a taster of

:02:54. > :02:55.what she thought... It is unfair, because

:02:56. > :03:12.everyone thinks that girls should just be pretty.

:03:13. > :03:17.And boys should just be adventurous. I think that is wrong,

:03:18. > :03:22.because why should boys and girls Because we are just

:03:23. > :03:30.as good as each other. And Daisy is here

:03:31. > :03:46.right now to talk to us more Thank you for coming in. He said

:03:47. > :03:52.that the slogans on the girls T-shirts were less adventurous. Is

:03:53. > :03:57.that what got you upset? Yes, well... Why can't the girls have the

:03:58. > :04:05.same slogan, may just in a different colour? Can it not just be maybe...

:04:06. > :04:09.Not exactly the same words, just slightly different, but meaning the

:04:10. > :04:17.same thing? Is this something that has been bothering you for a while?

:04:18. > :04:21.Yes. It has, hasn't it? And what do you want to do about it? Lots of

:04:22. > :04:32.people have watch that video. Do you think it will make a difference?

:04:33. > :04:33.Have you asked Tesco? No. We have heard from them. We pit your story

:04:34. > :04:37.to them. And they sent a comment. We asked Tesco what they thought

:04:38. > :04:40.about what you had to say. They said thank you

:04:41. > :04:41.for the feedback. And said they've got

:04:42. > :04:43.a big range of clothes And they make choices on the style

:04:44. > :04:52.based on what customers want. Do you think that is a good enough

:04:53. > :04:57.response? I don't think it is good enough, but I feel disappointed and

:04:58. > :05:05.annoyed, because why can't they be the same, just maybe in a different

:05:06. > :05:11.colour. And then annoyed, because... Why can't they be the same and why

:05:12. > :05:16.can't they be maybe merged together? You are not going to let this one

:05:17. > :05:19.go. Hopefully Tesco will be able to come back to you and give another

:05:20. > :05:23.statement. Thank you so much for coming in this morning. It is nice

:05:24. > :05:25.to see someone so young who is passionate about something.

:05:26. > :05:28.And we want to know what you think about this issue.

:05:29. > :05:30.Have you noticed a difference in boys and girls clothes,

:05:31. > :05:33.And do you think there should even be

:05:34. > :05:37.Or should they be mixed, like Daisy wants them to be?

:05:38. > :05:41.Next, to a toothy discovery by one of the world's

:05:42. > :05:44.Archaeologists have discovered an Alsatian's dogs tooth close

:05:45. > :05:46.to Stonehenge and say its from 2,000 years before

:05:47. > :05:50.Scientific analysis of the tooth suggests it made a 250-mile trip

:05:51. > :05:59.Newsround's back right here this afternoon.
