:00:09. > :00:11.latest Newsround. Coming up: Why freezing temperatures made an
:00:12. > :00:16.escaped prisoner decide to go back to jail.
:00:17. > :00:25.And the first glimpse of what the new Doctor looks like all dressed
:00:26. > :00:29.up. Keep watching! But first we're talking about how
:00:30. > :00:33.many of you have had experiences of cyber bullying. The charity
:00:34. > :00:36.Childline say that over the past year the number of young people
:00:37. > :00:40.contacting them with worries of being targeted online has nearly
:00:41. > :00:43.doubled. More than 5,500 kids contacted them last year. They say
:00:44. > :00:53.the increase is partly down to more kids having smartphones and tablets.
:00:54. > :00:58.Children nowadays... If they went to the bedroom, their parents used to
:00:59. > :01:02.know they were safe. That is not the case any more. Now children can be
:01:03. > :01:07.reached 24 hours a day through smartphones, tablets and devices
:01:08. > :01:14.that are not necessarily in the family room.
:01:15. > :01:17.Next, a US military helicopter has crashed on the Norfolk coast. It
:01:18. > :01:20.happened last night when the aircraft was carrying out a low
:01:21. > :01:23.flying training exercise. Emergency services say four people have been
:01:24. > :01:33.killed and an investigation into what caused the crash has begun.
:01:34. > :01:37.Next, peace talks aimed at ending weeks of violence in South Sudan are
:01:38. > :01:39.continuing today. It's one of the world's newest countries, having
:01:40. > :01:43.only been created two years ago. It was hoped its independence from
:01:44. > :01:46.Sudan would bring peace to an area that had endured decades of war. But
:01:47. > :01:49.that's not been the case. Fighting between the government and rebel
:01:50. > :01:52.groups broke out just before Christmas, and there are fears the
:01:53. > :02:02.country could descend into all out civil war.
:02:03. > :02:06.South Sudan gained independence from Sudan in 2011 after a war which
:02:07. > :02:12.lasted decades and killed 1.5 million people. But today the men
:02:13. > :02:16.that fought for their country's independents are now fighting each
:02:17. > :02:24.other. In July, the country's President Putin is -- accused his
:02:25. > :02:29.deputy of trying to seize power. Now the sides are fighting to control
:02:30. > :02:33.the country's oilfield, which are worth a lot of money. The
:02:34. > :02:38.international community fears the world's newest country is on the
:02:39. > :02:42.brink of civil war. This is where the fiercest fighting is taking
:02:43. > :02:50.place. Villages are empty as people flee their homes in the. Estimates
:02:51. > :02:55.are that there are 200,000 displaced people who have moved away from the
:02:56. > :03:00.violence. Probably 60% of those are children. Even before the fighting
:03:01. > :03:04.started, South Sudan had a lot of problems. Although the country has
:03:05. > :03:09.lots of oil, most people are poor. One in three have no access to
:03:10. > :03:13.drinking water. One in every seven children will die before their fifth
:03:14. > :03:18.birthday. However, there is some hope the crisis can be resolved.
:03:19. > :03:24.After weeks of uncertainty, the two sides have begun to face discussions
:03:25. > :03:28.for the first time. There are hopes the talks will provide a peaceful
:03:29. > :03:32.solution soon. In America, there's been no let up
:03:33. > :03:34.in the cold weather. Now all 50 US states are experiencing freezing
:03:35. > :03:38.temperatures, including New York, Georgia, and Tennessee. It was minus
:03:39. > :03:41.17 degrees Celsius in the small town of Hell, in Michigan. Weather
:03:42. > :03:44.experts say they expect things to get better soon with temperatures
:03:45. > :03:47.starting to rise in the coming days, although in Kentucky an escaped
:03:48. > :03:49.prisoner turned himself in to get out of the cold!
:03:50. > :03:53.Sport, and Manchester United suffered their third defeat in a row
:03:54. > :03:58.for the first time in 14 years last night. A Ryan Giggs own goal set
:03:59. > :04:01.them on the way to a 2-1 defeat to Sunderland in the first leg of their
:04:02. > :04:05.Capital One Cup semifinal. Nemanya Vidic had pulled it back to 1-1, but
:04:06. > :04:08.a controversial penalty for Sunderland gave them the win and got
:04:09. > :04:20.United boss David Moyes rather upset. How could the linesman give
:04:21. > :04:24.that from where he was standing? He would have to see through the
:04:25. > :04:28.defender to give the decision. Can't believe it.
:04:29. > :04:31.And he might have won Strictly Come Dancing during his break from the
:04:32. > :04:34.sport, but gymnast Louis Smith's announced he's making a comeback for
:04:35. > :04:38.the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow this summer. The three-time Olympic
