:00:39. > :00:46.Graceful, powerful and intelligent - we're talking about orcas, or killer

:00:47. > :00:52.For many years these whales have performed in shows across America

:00:53. > :00:57.at amusement parks run by the company SeaWorld.

:00:58. > :01:07.In 2015, Californian authorities banned SeaWorld from breeding

:01:08. > :01:13.And, after a lot of pressure from celebrities and animal rights

:01:14. > :01:16.groups, in 2016 SeaWorld announced they were putting an end

:01:17. > :01:18.to killer whale performance shows in their parks.

:01:19. > :01:20.This weekend marks the final show at one of those parks

:01:21. > :01:25.SeaWorld currently has killer whale shows at two other parks in America,

:01:26. > :01:28.in Texas and Florida, but they will be

:01:29. > :01:35.Instead of performing tricks, the whales will now be used to help

:01:36. > :01:41.Animal rights groups have praised SeaWorld for making positive steps

:01:42. > :01:43.in the right direction, but some still think more can be

:01:44. > :01:46.done to help protect the animals' welfare.

:01:47. > :01:51.Some are suggesting the whales should be moved to sanctuaries

:01:52. > :01:54.by the sea, where they can live in an environment closer to that

:01:55. > :01:58.The fight for killer whale rights seems set

:01:59. > :02:01.to continue into the future, but things are definitely changing

:02:02. > :02:14.Well, the FA Cup is in full swing this weekend, and the big news

:02:15. > :02:15.yesterday was Man United's 4-0 win over Championship

:02:16. > :02:20.Wayne Rooney drew level with United legend Bobby Charlton as the club's

:03:26. > :03:31.In my city we have a lot of smog, also known as pollution.

:03:32. > :03:40.When pollution gets bad, I can't go outside as much as I usually do.

:03:41. > :03:43.But if I need to go shopping or to my friend's house,

:03:44. > :03:45.I wear one of these - called a pollution mask.

:03:46. > :04:01.I have one at my house, but there are loads at my school.

:04:02. > :04:04.This means I can go to school on high pollution days.

:04:05. > :04:06.Do you know when you can't go outside to play

:04:07. > :04:10.It's like that in Beijing, just it is pollution instead.

:04:11. > :04:14.I lived here for eight years and this is some of the worst

:04:15. > :04:20.The CES tech show in Las Vegas comes to an end today.

:04:21. > :04:22.It's where some of the newest gadgets go on show

:04:23. > :04:30.It's also where gamers meet up and get pretty competative.

:04:31. > :04:36.Drivers and gamers are taking part in this virtual Formula E race.

:04:37. > :04:39.The drivers take their seats and get ready to race their rivals,

:04:40. > :04:43.and this event has pulled in a huge crowd.

:04:44. > :04:46.Virtual tournaments like this one gives players the opportunity

:04:47. > :04:59.to feel like a real racer without having to burn rubber.

:05:13. > :05:17.-- was won by Bono Huis, who won more than ?150,000 for coming first.

:05:18. > :05:20.Keeping it competitive now, and Let It Shine may have beaten

:05:21. > :05:22.The Voice in the ratings battle last night.

:05:23. > :05:24.The BBC show got more than 6 million viewers compared to ITV's

:05:25. > :05:27.version of The Voice, with just over 5 million.
