:00:40. > :00:52.Learning how to react to accidents is an important skill, but it is not

:00:53. > :00:56.always easy to find the time or resources to teach everyone. Check

:00:57. > :01:01.out this first aid session where the difference. It is being streamed to

:01:02. > :01:06.children live across the UK. Around 1000 schools are watching the show

:01:07. > :01:11.at the same time. It is being run by St John Ambulance. An interactive

:01:12. > :01:17.chat where schools can ask questions, quiz and even the

:01:18. > :01:18.opportunity to get a certificate. We want as many young kids to learn

:01:19. > :01:22.first aid because it is the difference between a life saved and

:01:23. > :01:26.a life lost. At the moment, schools in the UK do not have to teach first

:01:27. > :01:34.aid, but James knows how important it can be. My sister fell to the

:01:35. > :01:43.floor and she had an epileptic fit. I saved her life using the first aid

:01:44. > :01:51.skills by headline. This is one of the first aid schools taking part. I

:01:52. > :01:58.have come to find out what these children think of this new way of

:01:59. > :02:06.learning first aid. I think this is very good because lots of people can

:02:07. > :02:09.do it at the same time. I think learning first aid is an important

:02:10. > :02:13.part of life because it can make a difference to somebody's life. I

:02:14. > :02:16.thought the quiz was a good idea because if you have the answer

:02:17. > :02:18.wrong, they could explain it to you and tell you why you got it wrong.
