:00:00. > :00:00.Leah here, with a bird-filled bulletin this Tuesday afternoon!

:00:00. > :00:11.How the poo from a gang of peacocks is getting people

:00:12. > :00:16.Yep, he's back to predict the World Cup semi-finals.

:00:17. > :00:26.But, first, would you know what to do if someone

:00:27. > :00:31.A schoolboy who saved his sister's life has told Newsround

:00:32. > :00:35.it is essential that more kids are taught First Aid.

:00:36. > :00:37.The medical charity St John Ambulance has launched

:00:38. > :00:39.an online web-cast aimed at teaching the basic skills to

:00:40. > :00:45.At the recent launch, James told Jenny that

:00:46. > :00:55.his sister is still alive, thanks to his First Aid knowledge.

:00:56. > :01:04.On my 16th birthday, may sister fell to the floor and had an epileptic

:01:05. > :01:09.fit. It had never happened before. I saved her life with the First Aid

:01:10. > :01:15.skills I had learned. What would've happened you hadn't learned those

:01:16. > :01:19.skills? I think it would have been fatal. How important is it for

:01:20. > :01:23.children to learn First Aid? I believe it is essential. It could

:01:24. > :01:26.happen to any of us at any time. You've been telling us online

:01:27. > :01:28.about learning First Aid. Connor learned at Cubs

:01:29. > :01:31.and thinks it's a good idea to know Max told us he's never learned

:01:32. > :01:35.First Aid, but says he'd like to. Jessica learned First Aid

:01:36. > :01:38.and she says working with dummies was really fun, and now she knows

:01:39. > :01:41.what to do if someone chokes. Next, the most powerful storm to hit

:01:42. > :01:46.Japan in decades, Typhoon Neoguri has been battering

:01:47. > :01:48.the country's southern islands. Hundreds of thousands of people have

:01:49. > :01:51.been told to seek shelter Flights have been cancelled

:01:52. > :01:54.and schools shut for safety. Forecasters say

:01:55. > :01:56.although the storm's getting weaker as it moves towards other parts of

:01:57. > :01:59.the country, the heavy rain means This is the biggest bird

:02:00. > :02:11.ever to have flown. It lived over 25 million years ago

:02:12. > :02:14.and its seven-metre outstretched wings made it more

:02:15. > :02:16.like a plane than a bird. Earlier today,

:02:17. > :02:18.Ricky caught up with an expert on prehistoric beasts to see just

:02:19. > :02:37.how big this feathered monster was. This species was absolutely massive,

:02:38. > :02:43.wasn't it? Enormous. This is Pelagornis sandersi. It would have

:02:44. > :02:51.been about seven metres, its wingspan. Another way to show

:02:52. > :02:57.everyone at home how wide this bird was. If you put 12 of me

:02:58. > :03:01.side-by-side, that is the length of this bird. One of the things that

:03:02. > :03:05.would have made it more interesting, is not only this giant

:03:06. > :03:11.wingspan, but these bony projections coming out of its mouth. They kind

:03:12. > :03:17.of look like teeth, but they are actually bone. Why is this such an

:03:18. > :03:24.incredible discovery? Because it pushes the limits and boundaries of

:03:25. > :03:27.high and birds would have been and still be able to fly. I don't think

:03:28. > :03:29.we will find anything much larger than this.

:03:30. > :03:31.Have ever had to wear a uniform you weren't wild about?

:03:32. > :03:33.The person who came up with this, Scotland's official uniform

:03:34. > :03:36.for the Commonwealth Games, has defended her design after some

:03:37. > :03:57.It is really bright and attractive. I think it will stand out. It is

:03:58. > :03:58.quite nice, actually. Nice and blue. It doesn't look very traditional for

:03:59. > :04:02.Scotland. It is too colourful. Next to some pesky peacocks causing

:04:03. > :04:04.poo problems in Greater Manchester. Nobody's quite sure where

:04:05. > :04:07.the group have come from, but, as well as making plenty of noise,

:04:08. > :04:09.they've been damaging property by Tonight's semi-final is

:04:10. > :04:21.between Germany and Brazil - the two most successful teams

:04:22. > :04:23.in World Cup history. They're each trying to make it to

:04:24. > :04:26.a record-breaking eighth final. But with Neymar injured and Thiago

:04:27. > :04:29.Silva suspended, can the hosts pull We'll leave you with the views

:04:30. > :04:33.of Ronaldo, the Newsround parrot, and we'll see you bright

:04:34. > :04:36.and early in the morning.
