:01:48. > :01:54.Her crime in the eyes of the Taliban was speaking up for the rights
:01:55. > :02:00.When I was 11, I started writing a blog for the BBC.
:02:01. > :02:03.And at that time our education was banned,
:02:04. > :02:07.we could not go to school and more then 400 schools were destroyed.
:02:08. > :02:10.And I wanted to learn, I wanted to become a doctor at that time.
:02:11. > :02:14.But I wanted to make that dream come true.
:02:15. > :02:19.She was badly injured and flown to the UK for treatment.
:02:20. > :02:22.Two years on, she has recovered extremely well.
:02:23. > :02:25.And now she speaks out about her dream for girls
:02:26. > :02:38.Her passion for what she believes in means that world leaders
:02:39. > :02:40.and the media often want to hear what she has to say.
:02:41. > :02:44.I think I am not speaking to only 500 or 200 people, I'm not only
:02:45. > :02:48.speaking to the camera, but I am talking to millions of people,
:02:49. > :02:51.raising the voice of those children who are deprived of an education.
:02:52. > :03:00.When the teacher asks me questions in school.
:03:01. > :03:03.Now Malala wants even more people to hear her story
:03:04. > :03:09.My message to all young people all around the world is that they have a
:03:10. > :03:13.They should not wait for someone else, they should not
:03:14. > :03:16.wait for politicians or other people to come and speak for them.
:03:17. > :03:21.Her campaign nearly cost her life and Malala still travels the world
:03:22. > :03:30.But for now she has to prepare another big milestone, her GCSEs.

:04:22. > :04:27.sound? They sound very futuristic. Like a futuristic spacecraft. You
:04:28. > :04:34.need to cars to complete a course. Why is that? The batteries do not
:04:35. > :04:39.last much longer than 30 minutes. When you are racing, you have to be
:04:40. > :04:43.very strategic with your power management. Half way through the
:04:44. > :04:51.race you have to jump out of one car and into the other. Will there ever,
:04:52. > :04:57.point when the battery runs out by accident? Absolutely. Hopefully in
:04:58. > :05:01.the future, if we can improve the technology and get to a stage where
:05:02. > :05:07.we use more than one car and one battery, that will take it
:05:08. > :05:13.mainstream and make it more viable for the future. What was your route
:05:14. > :05:18.into this car driving? I started with go-karting. It was always a
