0:00:17 > 0:00:18Astronaut Tim Peake answers your questions.

0:00:18 > 0:00:21Ronaldo equals Messi by winning his fifth Ballon d'Or.

0:00:21 > 0:00:25And the festive lights sparkling in France.

0:00:31 > 0:00:35First, if you're from the European Union and you

0:00:35 > 0:00:38are living in the UK, or if you are British

0:00:38 > 0:00:41and living in the EU, we've got some big news for you.

0:00:41 > 0:00:45Here's what you need to know.

0:00:45 > 0:00:51So, the UK is leading a club of 28 countries called the European Union.

0:00:51 > 0:00:55-- leaving. Lots of people have called this Brexit. When British

0:00:55 > 0:00:59people voted to leave last year it wasn't clear what would happen to

0:00:59 > 0:01:04the 3 million people from the EU will appear in Britain. And also

0:01:04 > 0:01:08what would happen to British people living in EU countries. That got

0:01:08 > 0:01:15some people worried. But now the British government and the European

0:01:15 > 0:01:18Union have agreed that everyone will be allowed to carry on living and

0:01:18 > 0:01:28working where they are now. The two side say they've also come to an

0:01:28 > 0:01:30agreement about the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of

0:01:30 > 0:01:36Ireland. This issue has caused big problems and the details still need

0:01:36 > 0:01:43to be worked out. Finally, it's also been agreed that when the UK leaves

0:01:43 > 0:01:49it will pay money to the EU. So it isn't yet known how much that will

0:01:49 > 0:01:54be, it's likely to cost tens and billions of pounds. That is Brexit

0:01:54 > 0:02:00all sorted, then? Not quite. Even though the two side have agreed on

0:02:00 > 0:02:03these three big issues, there are still loads of things that we'll

0:02:03 > 0:02:09need to sort out before the UK leaves the EU in 2019.

0:02:09 > 0:02:11And if you want to find out more about Brexit go

0:02:11 > 0:02:13to our online guide now.

0:02:13 > 0:02:16Football now and Cristiano Ronaldo has won his fith Ballon d'Or beating

0:02:16 > 0:02:21Barcelona's Lionel Messi to this year's title .

0:02:21 > 0:02:24It's the second year in a row that he's won the award and has now

0:02:24 > 0:02:26won it the same amount of times as Messi.

0:02:26 > 0:02:29He helped Real Madrid win the Champions League and their first

0:02:29 > 0:02:32La Liga title since 2012 this year and scored 42 goals for Real

0:02:32 > 0:02:37in all competitions.

0:03:19 > 0:03:24question.What do you miss most about space? Two things, first thing

0:03:24 > 0:03:28I miss is weightlessness, floating around in space. The second thing is

0:03:28 > 0:03:32the view of planet Earth. We have a great question here, what is your

0:03:32 > 0:03:37question?If you had to name a new planet what would you name it?I'd

0:03:37 > 0:03:41have to see at first, you've got to see some thing to be able to come up

0:03:41 > 0:03:44with a name. Yeah, loads of new planets out there. Loads of

0:03:44 > 0:03:52potential.What about you?So what difference in experience is there

0:03:52 > 0:03:58from the earth atmosphere to zero gravity?I mean, coming back into

0:03:58 > 0:04:02Earth's atmosphere is incredible, you get the re-entry, the heat,

0:04:02 > 0:04:05deceleration, up in space it's really liberating, you're floating

0:04:05 > 0:04:09around. Seeing the stars at night at Earth by day is beautiful. What is

0:04:09 > 0:04:13your question? What was your inspiration to become an amazing

0:04:13 > 0:04:17astronaut?I've had lots of inspirational characters to my life,

0:04:17 > 0:04:21the first thing I wanted to do was become a pilot, test pilot. People

0:04:21 > 0:04:26like Chuck Yeager, reading books like the right stuff, he was very

0:04:26 > 0:04:32inspirational.Not every day you get an astronaut at Newsround HQ and

0:04:32 > 0:04:34those questions were awesome.

0:04:34 > 0:04:37Finally, we're heading to Lyon in France where something

0:04:37 > 0:04:38spectacular is happening right now.

0:04:38 > 0:04:41The city's annual Festival of Lights has been pulling in the crowds.

0:04:41 > 0:04:431 million visitors are expected to see the displays.

0:04:43 > 0:04:4550 light projections make buildings and streets come to life.

0:04:45 > 0:04:52That's got me feeling really festive.

0:04:52 > 0:04:54That's all from me for now but Newsround is back

0:04:54 > 0:04:57with Whitney across the weekend.
