0:01:32 > 0:01:36so connecting by Bluetooth and being within range or just
0:01:36 > 0:01:39having the app that the toy comes with to connect to it
0:01:39 > 0:01:40and start sending messages.
0:01:40 > 0:01:43So, the problem is that you could be playing with your toy,
0:01:43 > 0:01:45thinking that you are talking to your robot, but someone
0:01:45 > 0:01:47could be connecting to it without you realising
0:01:47 > 0:01:49and talking to you.
0:01:49 > 0:01:53What we want to see is for shops selling these toys to stop selling
0:01:53 > 0:01:58them straightaway and for those who are making the toys to make sure
0:01:58 > 0:02:01that they are safe and secure, so that when you are playing
0:02:01 > 0:02:03with them, you can play with them safely.
0:02:03 > 0:02:06Hasbro which makes the Furby Connect say they take children's
0:02:06 > 0:02:08privacy very seriously and they are confident the toys
0:02:08 > 0:02:11are safe to play with.
0:02:11 > 0:02:16Although Which? say they have hacked the toy,
0:02:16 > 0:02:21Hasbro say you have to be very close to the toy to be able to do it.
0:02:21 > 0:02:24Vivid Toy Group say they no longer sell the I-Que robot
0:02:24 > 0:02:27and that they take these issues very seriously.
0:02:27 > 0:02:29They also say that in the future, they are looking
0:02:29 > 0:02:30at how the toys are made.
0:02:30 > 0:02:33We also approached Spiral Toys which make CloudPets and we haven't
0:02:33 > 0:02:36heard back from them.
0:02:36 > 0:02:41While we do have security concerns, we don't think it's likely that
0:02:41 > 0:02:47someone you don't know will connect to it, but if you are not playing
0:02:47 > 0:02:50with it, do make sure you're turning it off and try to make sure
0:02:50 > 0:02:53you are playing with it with your parents around.
0:02:53 > 0:02:56If you do get a message that you think sounds a bit odd
