:00:40. > :00:42.trunk for bronze. She had a nervous wait while the others competed to

:00:43. > :00:47.see if you made the medals. She did and has become the team 's first

:00:48. > :00:53.Olympic medal went on snow. She told the sport just how she was feeling.

:01:13. > :01:15.Men's downhill skiing is the fastest event in the Games, with contestants

:01:16. > :01:19.reaching speeds over 80 miles an hour. And this morning Austria's

:01:20. > :01:22.Matthias Mayer was crowned champion. Mayer, who completed the run in a

:01:23. > :01:26.speedy 6.23 seconds, was the surprise winner to grab the gold

:01:27. > :01:31.medal. This is the first time the 23-year-old has competed in the

:01:32. > :01:35.Olympics. Well if you want to know exactly how

:02:15. > :02:18.Campaigners say hunting animals like elephants has reached an all time

:02:19. > :02:21.high and endangered animals are at risk of extinction. So Prince

:02:22. > :02:28.William and his dad, Prince Charles, made a video asking for poachers to

:02:29. > :02:32.stop. My father and I share a belief that it is shocking that future

:02:33. > :02:39.generations may know a world without these magnificent animals. Let's

:02:40. > :02:41.unite for wildlife. The 17th to get their point across they have

:02:42. > :02:59.recorded their message in a fume different luggage is -- Princess.

:03:00. > :03:05.And we'll have much more on that story later on this week. Next to

:03:06. > :03:08.the very latest on the weather and flooding. Forecasters say we're in

:03:09. > :03:11.for another stormy week. It's been an incredibly difficult time for

:03:12. > :03:15.people living in flood hit areas in the south and western parts of the

:03:16. > :03:22.UK mainland. Rail routes to Devon and Cornwall have been cut off by

:03:23. > :03:27.the water. There is no news yet when they are running again. More than

:03:28. > :03:30.1,000 military staff are on stand by to help. They were unloading

:03:31. > :03:34.sandbags in Berskhire last night. The government says it will do all

:03:35. > :03:38.it can to help people who've been affected. BBC Reporter Clive Myrie

:03:39. > :03:41.has been in Somerset today where you can see just how bad things are. Yet

:03:42. > :03:45.the macro letters paint a picture of the scene for you. You can see that

:03:46. > :03:53.brown stretch of water snaking around to the right. That river has

:03:54. > :04:01.burst its banks. The result is this whole flood plain right across here

:04:02. > :04:05.being inundated with water. The authorities have tried sandbags and

:04:06. > :04:12.various other aids to try and stop the water. It has not worked. We are

:04:13. > :04:17.expecting more storefronts coming in from the Atlantic. More problems for

:04:18. > :04:20.the authorities. For those farmers, and the local people living here,

:04:21. > :04:31.they have no idea when it will come to an end.

:04:32. > :04:35.She's the star of Liv and Maddie and now she's set to hit the slopes in

:04:36. > :04:39.Disney Channel's Cloud nine. So where better to catch up with Dove

:04:40. > :04:43.Cameron than an indoor ski slope and find out all about her new movie and

:04:44. > :04:46.what she's like on the snow! You'll macro I hope you enjoy the Winter

:04:47. > :04:54.Olympics as much as I am. I did not quite make the cut. Instead, I bring

:04:55. > :05:01.you this. It takes no fear. It is a romance action film, focusing on the

:05:02. > :05:08.competitive world of snowboarding. I do not know what it feels like. It

:05:09. > :05:16.is a little time-consuming. Definitely fun. I think I have not

:05:17. > :05:24.snowboarding since I was seven. In the movie, I did not do any of my

:05:25. > :05:32.own stunts. I was kept very safe. Those people are amazing. I think

:05:33. > :05:38.growing up, I was very focused on the arts. You know, I think any kid

:05:39. > :05:42.when the outgoing through that phase, thinking about what they want

:05:43. > :05:52.to be. I thought I might go professional. That did not happen.

:05:53. > :05:55.That is all from me. We're back right here just after lunch. We will

:05:56. > :06:01.have around from the funnier moments from Sochi. In the meantime,

:06:02. > :06:02.congratulations
