:01:05. > :01:11.networks, what experience have you had on them, both good and bad?
:01:12. > :01:12.I have come along to this school and the north-east of
:01:13. > :01:21.England to find out. Well, I use Instagram, because it is
:01:22. > :01:26.really easy to get in touch with your friends. I have YouTube to just
:01:27. > :01:33.research videos and watch videos. The main one is like Instagram,
:01:34. > :01:37.Facebook and things like that. I signed up to Facebook because I
:01:38. > :01:41.wanted to talk to my friends outside of school if I couldn't see them in
:01:42. > :01:47.person. I looked at Instagram because it is kind of what everyone
:01:48. > :01:52.does. Newsround service and a massive 70% on 10-12 -year-olds have
:01:53. > :01:59.a social media account, despite rules saying you have to be 13 or
:02:00. > :02:05.over to sign up. Even though the survey found more than 70% of you
:02:06. > :02:08.found you are happy using social networking sites, it also found that
:02:09. > :02:13.many of you don't always have a great time. More than one in 510-12
:02:14. > :02:19.-year-olds with a social media Ken said they had been bullied or
:02:20. > :02:24.trolled online. I have experienced it, but it has been in private
:02:25. > :02:28.messages and I showed my mum. One of my friends has been quite badly
:02:29. > :02:33.bullied on a social network and it affected her quite bad, she has
:02:34. > :02:37.never been on it since. One of my friends had a YouTube account and I
:02:38. > :02:43.looked on the comments and I saw swearing, abusive language. I have
:02:44. > :02:48.never really seen any bullying going on and I have never been bullied. I
:02:49. > :02:53.haven't seen anyone but I know it can happen and it can be really bad,
:02:54. > :02:59.it can really hurt people. Are the social networks doing enough
:03:00. > :03:03.themselves to prevent bullying on their sites? They all have places
:03:04. > :03:06.where you can report bullying. But more than a third of you said the
:03:07. > :03:08.companies don't take bullying seriously enough.
:03:09. > :03:19.So that number, one in 510-12 -year-olds say they have been
:03:20. > :03:24.bullied online, it is quite a worry, what should you do if you are being
:03:25. > :03:29.bullied? -- one in five. Talk to someone, whether it is an adult you
:03:30. > :03:33.trust, a parent or a teacher, and they can help you, we know how
:03:34. > :03:37.difficult it can be to talk about and also learn how to block the
:03:38. > :03:45.bullies on which of the social networking site they are targeting
:03:46. > :03:52.you on and report them. And what to do if you are getting bullied. He
:03:53. > :03:56.also said that one in three 10-12 -year-olds said they didn't think

:04:25. > :04:28.they did stress that their site is for 13-year-olds and over. Facebook
:04:29. > :04:32.said they would give us an interview but only if we didn't talk about
:04:33. > :04:33.under 13 is, which of course, we couldn't agree to do.
:04:34. > :04:37.Well, it's the biggest thing online today on Safer Internet Day.
:04:38. > :04:40.And we want to hear your ideas for how to make the online world
