:00:00. > :00:09.Hey, y'all, Ricky here with your Sunday Newsround, coming up...
:00:10. > :00:11.The great white shark on an epic journey.
:00:12. > :00:26.And it's all change at the International Space Station.
:00:27. > :00:30.To Sochi, where right now Great Britain's wheelchair curlers have
:00:31. > :00:34.just started their match against South Korea. Earlier today they beat
:00:35. > :00:37.Sweden 6-4 to secure their first win in the competition, a boost to their
:00:38. > :00:40.confidence after losing to Canada in their opening game yesterday. Two
:00:41. > :00:44.people who know all about the pressure of being on the ice are
:00:45. > :00:47.Team GB's Winter Olympic silver and bronze medal winning skips, David
:00:48. > :01:09.Murdoch and Eve Muirhead and we caught up with them. It is a real
:01:10. > :01:18.team game so every person makes a difference. My dad played a lot of
:01:19. > :01:22.curdling and he was at the Olympic Games in the 1992. Watching him
:01:23. > :01:40.compete make us want to start competing. There are lots of words
:01:41. > :01:48.in this sport. Communication as to what we are trying to do with the
:01:49. > :02:06.actual stone. They want to tell biscuit -- the skip how hard or how
:02:07. > :02:12.soft distort. Go and have a go. There will be some incredible
:02:13. > :02:32.coaches. Re-leaf when I won that Olympic medal. To know you are
:02:33. > :02:36.winning that middle is incredible. England host Wales at Twickenham and
:02:37. > :02:39.the match will have a huge say in the destination of this year's
:02:40. > :02:43.title, with both teams still in contention to take the trophy. And
:02:44. > :02:48.that game will be live on BBC One at at 3pm.
:02:49. > :02:51."I can't believe it. This is a dream come true." That's what Great
:02:52. > :02:55.Britain's Richard Kilty told reporters after he won a shock gold
:02:56. > :02:57.in the 60m at the World Indoor Championships in Poland. The
:02:58. > :03:07.24-year-old was an outsider and even beat Nesta Carter, the fifth fastest
:03:08. > :03:10.man ever over 100m. Nd there's plenty of FA Cup quarterfinal action
:03:11. > :03:14.this afternoon to look forward to as well. The big tie sees Man City play
:03:15. > :03:22.Wigan in a repeat fixture of last year's final where the Latics beat
:03:23. > :03:26.the Blues 1-0. A great white shark called Lydia is about to make
:03:27. > :03:29.history as the first of its species to be seen crossing from one side of
:03:30. > :03:33.the Atlantic to the other. Scientists started tracking the
:03:34. > :03:36.shark last year and she was first tagged off Florida in America.
:03:37. > :03:39.This is Lydia, a great white shark. A year ago scientists fitted the 4.4
:03:40. > :03:43.metre long beast with a satellite tracking device, so they could find
:03:44. > :03:46.out where she swims and they already have some amazing results. So far
:03:47. > :03:49.Lydia has travelled over 19,000 miles, round and round the west
:03:50. > :03:52.Atlantic Ocean but now she could be about to make history by crossing
:03:53. > :03:56.the mid-Atlantic ridge, and over into the east Atlantic ocean. She'll
:03:57. > :04:00.become the first great white shark to be seen crossing from one side of
:04:01. > :04:04.the ocean to the other. We don't yet know how close to the UK Lydia will
:04:05. > :04:07.get, but she'll continue to be tracked for years to come. The
:04:08. > :04:10.scientists say their research will further our understanding of great
:04:11. > :04:14.white sharks - and help protect them - but don't expect to see Lydia in
:04:15. > :04:16.UK waters any time soon. There's a new commander in charge of
:04:17. > :04:20.the International Space Station. Koichi Wakata is the first Japanese
:04:21. > :04:23.astronaut to live on board the space station and over-night he took
:04:24. > :04:26.control of the science lab in space. Japan is one of 15 nations
:04:27. > :04:30.participating in the Space Station project. Next year, Tim Peake will
:04:31. > :04:38.be the first British person to board the International Station which is
:04:39. > :04:41.about 250 miles above our planet. All next week on Newsround, we'll be
:04:42. > :04:55.exploring the next wave of robots. Here's a sneak peek...
:04:56. > :05:04.They can walk, they can talk and they will soon be thinking for
:05:05. > :05:12.themselves. Robots have evolved from these huge machines to these
:05:13. > :05:20.advanced humanoids. The toys will be more exciting as they learn to learn
:05:21. > :05:26.with us. This robot is meant to behave like an ant. We are building
:05:27. > :05:32.a machine that allows us to build little models to show us what is
:05:33. > :05:44.happening inside the brain to see if we can improve our understanding.
:05:45. > :05:49.All this week I will be taking a look at the next wave of robotics.
:05:50. > :05:57.Join us as we investigate the world of robots.
:05:58. > :06:00.That's all from me, Newsround's back right here just before 2pm. Goodbye.
