:00:20. > :00:22.First, severe weather warnings have been issued in some parts of the UK

:00:23. > :00:26.as the remains of Hurricane Bertha makes its way to the UK.

:00:27. > :00:29.Bertha, which has been travelling across the Atlantic,

:00:30. > :00:32.caused chaos in the Caribbean earlier this week, with winds of up

:00:33. > :00:36.to 90 miles per hour and thousands of homes left without power.

:00:37. > :00:38.It's thought the whole of Wales will be worst affected,

:00:39. > :00:44.with heavy rains, strong winds and large waves on the coast predicted.

:00:45. > :00:48.If you think it's a bit of a boring and dull day, well you'd

:00:49. > :00:51.be completely right - because today is, in fact, Boring and Dull day.

:00:52. > :00:54.This is officially the second annual day of its kind.

:00:55. > :00:58.It came about after US town Boring paired up with the Scottish village

:00:59. > :01:03.The BBC's Glen Campbell travelled to Boring to find out

:01:04. > :01:10.Interestingly enough, Boring now has a sign up, making

:01:11. > :01:14.its partnership with Dull official, and the governor of the state

:01:15. > :01:20.of Oregon has signed a proclamation declaring August the 9th Boring and

:01:21. > :01:27.Now to the incredible story of a girl from Indonesia who's been

:01:28. > :01:30.reunited with her family, ten years after they thought she was lost.

:01:31. > :01:34.The 14-year old was separated from them in the 2004 tsunami that hit

:01:35. > :01:38.parts of Asia - one of the biggest natural disasters in history.

:01:39. > :01:44.Jannah was just four-years-old when she and her seven-year-old

:01:45. > :01:48.brother were carried away clinging onto wooden planks when huge waves

:01:49. > :01:56.The tsunami hit the country on Boxing Day and killed more than

:01:57. > :02:00.170,000 people in the area, and tens of thousands more in other

:02:01. > :02:09.The only thing I can remember is we were chatting as we waited on board.

:02:10. > :02:12.After a while, people came to help the next thing I

:02:13. > :02:17.The children's parents survived the tsunami didn't know

:02:18. > :02:19.if they would ever find their children alive again.

:02:20. > :02:24.But in June this year, Jannah's uncle spotted

:02:25. > :02:27.a girl walking home from school who looked very much like his niece.

:02:28. > :02:29.He asked around and found the girl had been saved

:02:30. > :02:36.The fishermen's elderly mother had then raised Jannah

:02:37. > :02:42.On hearing that her daughter had been found, the girl's

:02:43. > :02:50.When I saw her, I knew she was the one.

:02:51. > :02:52.We also saw her photos from childhood

:02:53. > :02:58.Jannah has now moved back to tbe with her birth parents

:02:59. > :03:02.and the couple now say they've been given fresh hope they can find

:03:03. > :03:07.Next, he was recently voted the nation's

:03:08. > :03:10.favourite children's TV character of all time, and now Shaun the Sheep

:03:11. > :03:16.120 Shaun sculptures will feature in a special trail

:03:17. > :03:21.The five-foot models mark the release of the Shaun the Sheep

:03:22. > :03:26.After the trail, the sheep will be sold to raise money for children

:03:27. > :03:29.Shaun creator Nick Park explains who'll be designing

:03:30. > :03:41.We are going to spread it out and invite lots of international artists

:03:42. > :03:43.and celebrities. We will keep going between now and then to get more

:03:44. > :03:46.artists involved and make the biggest we can.

:03:47. > :03:48.They're the tiny little rubber bands that have taken over

:03:49. > :03:52.Now it's thought loom bands could even be inspiring fashion

:03:53. > :04:12.Everybody is wearing them. They came about when a crash test engineer was

:04:13. > :04:25.spending time with his family. I got the idea. They were making bracelets

:04:26. > :04:31.so I came out with a more elaborate design. It is now worth millions of

:04:32. > :04:36.pounds and it looks like it is more than just a craze. These guys,

:04:37. > :04:42.village are involved in a national project to get kids are making art

:04:43. > :04:47.in school. They use loom bands but these sculptures. It is getting

:04:48. > :04:53.people doing things. It stops them doing nothing. It is creative, and

:04:54. > :04:59.it could lead to someone being a designer. It is not all good news.

:05:00. > :05:06.Hurting fingers and there are concerns it could not be good for

:05:07. > :05:14.the environment. It is very popular. We are thinking about how we can

:05:15. > :05:16.tell the customer how to be environmentally friendly. Loom bands

:05:17. > :05:19.on going anywhere soon. Next, he's known for saving

:05:20. > :05:22.the world, so Superman's latest The British actor, Henry Cavill,

:05:23. > :05:25.who plays Superman, has become an ambassador for

:05:26. > :05:28.the Durrell Wildlife Conservation The Trust works to prevent the

:05:29. > :05:44.extinction of endangered animals I came here as a boy and had decided

:05:45. > :05:49.to take it on as a charity. What they do here is close to my heart

:05:50. > :05:50.and it is something I think needs more attention.
