:01:25. > :01:33.Just nine days to go until Scotland decides.

:01:34. > :01:42.Well, the Scottish National Party, who control Scottish Parliament,

:01:43. > :01:44.want Scotland to become its own independent country.

:01:45. > :01:47.But the UK's three main political parties want Scotland to stay

:01:48. > :01:52.So, to settle it - a massive vote is taking place

:01:53. > :01:59.It's simple. Whichever side gets more votes wins.

:02:00. > :02:03.And, for the first time, 16 and 17-year-olds will get to vote.

:02:04. > :02:06.It's a huge decision which could affect loads of things,

:02:07. > :02:09.such as whether Scotland uses the pound, and whether it's

:02:10. > :02:15.Scotland's been joined with England since 1707.

:02:16. > :02:19.So if people do vote yes it'll mean an end to more than 300 years

:02:20. > :02:32.when we'll be finding out more about what it's like living

:02:33. > :02:38.And Newsround will, of course, be keeping you up to date on that big
