:01:08. > :01:13.No one, absolutely no one, will run the affairs of this country

:01:21. > :01:24.Being a part of something bigger gives us opportunity and security,

:01:25. > :01:28.as well as our Scottish identity and decision-making.

:01:29. > :01:34.Who will win? Just nine days to go until Scotland decides.

:01:35. > :01:43.Well, the Scottish National Party, who control Scottish Parliament,

:01:44. > :01:46.want Scotland to become its own independent country.

:01:47. > :01:49.But the UK's three main political parties want Scotland to stay

:01:50. > :01:54.So, to settle it - a massive vote is taking place

:01:55. > :02:05.And, for the first time, 16 and 17-year-olds will get to vote.

:02:06. > :02:08.It's a huge decision which could affect loads of things,

:02:09. > :02:11.such as whether Scotland uses the pound, and whether it's

:02:12. > :02:18.Scotland's been joined with England since 1707.

:02:19. > :02:25.So if people do vote yes it'll mean an end to more than 300 years

:02:26. > :02:31.Scotland is known around the world for its awesome

:02:32. > :02:36.To get a feel of what this place means to the

:02:37. > :02:39.people who live here, we asked kids to remind us what their thoughts

:02:40. > :02:52.Scotland has haggis, bagpipes, and legend has it it is home to be

:02:53. > :02:57.locked Ness monster. Over 5 million people live here from deepest locks

:02:58. > :03:01.to the highest mountains. Scotland is full of culture with a rich

:03:02. > :03:04.history but don't take my word for it. Scotland is a really nice place

:03:05. > :03:10.to live because there is loads of history. Quite a few inventions were

:03:11. > :03:15.made in Scotland like the telephone and the TV. I like Scotland because

:03:16. > :03:20.it is fun and there are loads of things to do. It is great, there are

:03:21. > :03:27.great cities and lovely mountains to climb, and Ben Nevis is the biggest

:03:28. > :03:31.one in the UK. It is a happy place. It is famous for golf and there are

:03:32. > :03:34.a lot of things you can do. The first thing I think about is the

:03:35. > :03:38.landscapes, the hills and the Lakes and the castles. I think it is

:03:39. > :03:43.probably one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Scotland is

:03:44. > :03:50.full of culture and history, it is just amazing. Thanks for that. Just

:03:51. > :03:54.nine days to go before the big event. -- the big vote.
