:02:07. > :02:11.Scotland to become its own independent country, but the UK's
:02:12. > :02:16.three main independent parties want Scotland to stay in the United
:02:17. > :02:21.Kingdom. To settle it, a massive vote is taking place across Scotland
:02:22. > :02:26.on the 18th of September. Whichever side this gets more votes wins and
:02:27. > :02:31.for the first time 16 and 17-year-olds will vote. It is a huge
:02:32. > :02:36.decision that could affect loads of things, such as whether Scotland
:02:37. > :02:40.uses the pound and whether it is a member of the European Union.
:02:41. > :02:43.Scotland has been joined with England since 17 or seven sort of
:02:44. > :02:49.people vote yes it will mean an end to more than 300 years of history.
