:00:16. > :00:19.Hello news fans, I'm Ayshah, this is Newsround.

:00:20. > :00:22.Tonight, the two people who are running for President of the

:00:23. > :00:24.United States of America will appear on TV together.

:00:25. > :00:27.But one of them, the businessman Donald Trump, is in trouble

:00:28. > :00:29.because of some of the things he's said about women.

:00:30. > :00:35.One of them will be the next President of the United States,

:00:36. > :00:38.one of the most important jobs in the world.

:00:39. > :00:41.Tonight, they will take part in a TV debate where they will argue

:00:42. > :00:44.against each other, trying to persuade the American people

:00:45. > :00:47.to vote for them next month in an election to decide who takes

:00:48. > :01:01.I have a feeling by the end of the evening I will be blamed for

:01:02. > :01:03.everything that has ever happened! Why not?

:01:04. > :01:06.At this debate, Donald Trump will be under pressure because of the things

:01:07. > :01:10.In the past he has used words like "pig", "fat" and "ugly"

:01:11. > :01:13.when talking about women he disagrees with.

:01:14. > :01:16.Now a tape from ten years ago, where he said things

:01:17. > :01:21.that are even worse, has been made public.

:01:22. > :01:27.After the recording came out, Donald Trump said this...

:01:28. > :01:30.I said it, I was wrong, and I apologise. I'm Hillary Clinton, and

:01:31. > :01:32.I approve this message. But Hillary Clinton says

:01:33. > :01:34.that he should not be President She has paid for adverts arguing

:01:35. > :01:39.that his words will have an effect Donald Trump now has a big job

:01:40. > :01:43.tonight to try to persuade people across America that he has what it

:01:44. > :01:47.takes to be President. Next, the Caribbean island of Haiti

:01:48. > :01:50.is beginning three days of mourning after Hurricane Matthew ripped

:01:51. > :01:53.through the southern part Aid workers are trying to reach more

:01:54. > :02:00.than 350,000 people who need help. At least 900 people have been

:02:01. > :02:03.killed and thousands have The storm has weakened as it

:02:04. > :02:07.makes its way across the east coast At least ten people have died

:02:08. > :02:11.there and nearly two million homes This week, there's a big meeting

:02:12. > :02:19.of countries around the world to discuss how we can help

:02:20. > :02:21.save endangered animals Thousands of them are being

:02:22. > :02:25.illegally killed every year Jenny has been to meet some people

:02:26. > :02:48.who protect these amazing Elephants, eating, playing, said.

:02:49. > :02:53.This is the environment experts said they need. Space to room, away from

:02:54. > :02:58.humans, who can be dangerous to them in many ways. But these beautiful

:02:59. > :03:02.elephants were not so easy to find. I have come to the north-east of

:03:03. > :03:08.South Africa, far from the big cities, near to the famous Kruger

:03:09. > :03:13.National Park. We are setting off early for a game of hide and seek.

:03:14. > :03:17.We have got a Safari car and a guide, and we have got to be

:03:18. > :03:21.patient, which I am finding difficult! It is a massive area

:03:22. > :03:31.where the wild animals can live as they always have. But strangely no

:03:32. > :03:38.sign of the one creature we have come to look for. But, the next

:03:39. > :03:44.morning... We have found them, finally! I can't believe it! Getting

:03:45. > :03:49.so close to incredible elephants like this is one of the most

:03:50. > :03:55.important ways South Africa believes it can protect them. It gives people

:03:56. > :03:58.a thrill and helps them to really understand why nature needs

:03:59. > :04:02.elephants. For me, personally, elephants play a really big role in

:04:03. > :04:07.the ecosystem, especially clearing kick Bush as they walk with their

:04:08. > :04:12.big bodies, the open pathways and make the Bush a bit more open. This

:04:13. > :04:17.is a good example where you can see the elephants have removed the bark

:04:18. > :04:22.from the trees, they use their tusks to take off the bark. This will fall

:04:23. > :04:26.down eventually and create a whole new ecosystem for other animals. One

:04:27. > :04:31.of the ways people hope to stop illegal hunting and killing of

:04:32. > :04:36.elephants is to catch the people doing it, poachers. These are super

:04:37. > :04:42.slipping dogs. They are definitely not pets, they are trained to find

:04:43. > :04:46.out trouble and catch poachers. Once they are experts, these dogs will be

:04:47. > :04:52.sent out on patrol to protect animals in the wild or find stolen

:04:53. > :04:57.library. Without anti-poaching efforts in Africa, we will lose all

:04:58. > :05:02.of our wildlife, never mind just the elephant but we will lose

:05:03. > :05:06.everything. Anti-poachers and Rangers, together they hope to stop

:05:07. > :05:08.Africa's elephant crisis and keep these awesome creatures around for

:05:09. > :05:13.generations to come. Next, some good news about one

:05:14. > :05:16.of the most endangered Four years ago two female black

:05:17. > :05:22.rhinos were sent from their home at a wildlife reserve in the UK

:05:23. > :05:26.to Tanzania in East africa. The hope was they would settle

:05:27. > :05:29.and have baby rhinos. These are the healthy new babies,

:05:30. > :05:33.making their way around the African Halloween's not far away -

:05:34. > :05:38.will you be having a pumpkin? This beast, grown in Essex,

:05:39. > :05:43.is the UK's biggest. At just over 603 kilogrammes,

:05:44. > :05:51.it weighs the same That's all from me, Newsround's back

:05:52. > :05:56.right here just before 2pm.
