0:00:06 > 0:00:08Hi, I'm Martin with Thursday morning's top stories.

0:00:08 > 0:00:13Coming up on Newsround.

0:00:13 > 0:00:19I investigate the craze for rock painting. And take a look at this.

0:00:19 > 0:00:25The amazing home-made ironman suit.

0:00:26 > 0:00:28First up, football and Northern Ireland are hoping

0:00:28 > 0:00:31to qualify for the World Cup.

0:00:31 > 0:00:34They face Switzerland tonight at Windsor park

0:00:34 > 0:00:37in the first leg of a play-off, with the second leg on Sunday.

0:00:37 > 0:00:40The winners after two games, will play at the tournament

0:00:40 > 0:00:43next summer in Russia.

0:00:43 > 0:00:46Next, to a refugee swimmer whose story is so amazing it's now

0:00:46 > 0:00:56being made in to a film.

0:00:58 > 0:01:03Yusra competed as a swimmer at the Rio Olympics last year but less than

0:01:03 > 0:01:07a year before that, she was forced to leave her home in Syria because

0:01:07 > 0:01:13of the war. When they were telling me I was leaving to do the Olympics,

0:01:13 > 0:01:19I was so surprised because only a year before I was a refugee. I am

0:01:19 > 0:01:25going in the refugee team, it was incredible. She took part in the

0:01:25 > 0:01:29first ever team refugee but Yusra's life hasn't always been this much

0:01:29 > 0:01:35fun. It took a 25 days to travel from Syria to Europe. Part of that

0:01:35 > 0:01:39journey was in a boat and when it began to sink, she got into the sea

0:01:39 > 0:01:45along with her sister and helped save 19 others who were on board.

0:01:45 > 0:01:51It's OK, I helped the vote and so on, but it was not just me or my

0:01:51 > 0:01:56sister. But you can imagine they told you it was 45 minutes trip but

0:01:56 > 0:02:01it took three and a half hours. She now lives in Germany and is training

0:02:01 > 0:02:10for the next Olympics at Tokyo in 2020.My dream is to be an athlete.

0:02:10 > 0:02:15If I am going to start for Germany or for my country over the refugee

0:02:15 > 0:02:18Olympic team, it would be my dream come true and I would do the best I

0:02:18 > 0:02:24can.Now her story is being made into a film. Let's hope she gets

0:02:24 > 0:02:27some time out of the water to watch it.

0:02:27 > 0:02:29Next, to a massive rock group.

0:02:29 > 0:02:30No, not that kind.

0:02:30 > 0:02:33I've been to meet the kids getting out their paintbrushes and heading

0:02:33 > 0:02:35to the bottom of the garden for a new craze.

0:02:35 > 0:02:37Watch this.

0:02:37 > 0:02:41Fidget spinners, JoJo Bos, making slime at home. These are just some

0:02:41 > 0:02:47of the things you guys love. But I'm not here to talk about them. I've

0:02:47 > 0:02:52come to this special rock painting club to find out why these rocks

0:02:52 > 0:02:56Rock. Yes, a new rock trend is sweeping the nation. Let's find out

0:02:56 > 0:03:03how it works and why kids up and down the country are doing it.So,

0:03:03 > 0:03:08what you have to do is you paint rocks and then you go out and you

0:03:08 > 0:03:14hide them. You take a picture, put it on Facebook and show that you

0:03:14 > 0:03:20found it and then you read hide it. I'm doing it because I like people

0:03:20 > 0:03:24to get out the house instead of being lazy on their electronics. You

0:03:24 > 0:03:28can let your imagination run free and do anything you want.Find a

0:03:28 > 0:03:32rock and start drawing on it. I enjoyed doing it because it gets me

0:03:32 > 0:03:37out of the house.Instead of being sat there with your frigid spinner,

0:03:37 > 0:03:41you can go outside and have a hunter with your friends. It gets you will

0:03:41 > 0:03:48together. -- with your fidget spinner.So, we have done our

0:03:48 > 0:03:54painting. Now it's time to hide them. Are you guys ready? Let's go.

0:03:54 > 0:03:58Let's go. So if you are out and about and managed to find a painted

0:03:58 > 0:04:03rock, you can choose to keep it or hide it again for someone else to

0:04:03 > 0:04:09find. So get out there and get painting.

0:04:12 > 0:04:14Next, check out this real-life Iron Man who's been flying

0:04:14 > 0:04:15high across England.

0:04:15 > 0:04:17British inventor Richard Browning set the first world

0:04:17 > 0:04:19speed record for "flying a body-controlled jet

0:04:19 > 0:04:22engine power suit".

0:04:22 > 0:04:26Richard flew his jet suit across a lake in Reading.

0:04:26 > 0:04:29Guinness World Records logged his top speed at just

0:04:29 > 0:04:34over 32 miles per hour.

0:04:34 > 0:04:38Every time you take this equipment out, you never really know how it's

0:04:38 > 0:04:42going to work out. It's all very new, there's no rule book, guidebook

0:04:42 > 0:04:48or manual. I'm just delighted we got some really good runs in. We took a

0:04:48 > 0:04:52little bit of a swim on 14 but that just proves we push the boundaries.

0:04:52 > 0:04:55That's all for now but I'll be back with loads more

0:04:55 > 0:04:58in around half an hour.
