:00:00. > :00:12.Hi, I'm Ayshah with your morning headlines. Coming up in the next

:00:13. > :00:15.five: This morning sees Britain's first ever winter Paralympic gold

:00:16. > :00:22.medal, and Ricky wins the world's biggest dog show. Not our Ricky.

:00:23. > :00:25.Ricky the poodle. But first, this morning has seen the

:00:26. > :00:30.first ever Winter Paralympic Gold medal for Great Britain! That's

:00:31. > :00:32.thanks to Northern Ireland's Kelly Gallagher and her amazing

:00:33. > :00:37.performance in the super-G skiing event in Sochi. Golden Gallagher and

:00:38. > :00:40.her guide Charlotte Evans were the first out on the course with a quick

:00:41. > :00:45.time. 28-year-old Kelly, from Bangor, then had to wait as the rest

:00:46. > :00:56.of her rivals tried and failed to beat her time. GB's Jade Etherington

:00:57. > :00:59.took bronze in the same race. Next, animal campaigners are calling for

:01:00. > :01:03.action over bears abandoned in the zoo at the home of former Ukrainian

:01:04. > :01:08.president Viktor Yanukovych. They were discovered after he fled the

:01:09. > :01:12.country last month. The four bears didn't have enough food or water and

:01:13. > :01:16.were being kept in a cage that was too small for them. Although they've

:01:17. > :01:20.since been moved to a bigger one, campaigners say the bears shouldn't

:01:21. > :01:24.be kept in cages at all. Next, they can walk, they can talk

:01:25. > :01:28.and may soon be thinking for themselves. Robots have evolved over

:01:29. > :01:32.the past 50 years, from these huge machines in factories to these

:01:33. > :01:35.advanced Humanoids. All this week we'll be taking a look at the next

:01:36. > :01:40.wave of robotics and finding out what else the future holds. In a

:01:41. > :01:43.moment we'll hear from a robotics expert, but first, we want you to

:01:44. > :01:54.design your very own robot and send it in to us. Here's Ricky with more.

:01:55. > :02:01.They can walk, they can talk and may soon be thinking for themselves. The

:02:02. > :02:05.way we work, play and live with robots is changing. But what have

:02:06. > :02:10.the experts missed? We would like you to design a robot you would like

:02:11. > :02:16.to see built. What would it look like? How would it fit into your

:02:17. > :02:22.life? Take a photo and send it to the Newsround website. At the end of

:02:23. > :02:26.the week we will send them to a top robotics expert.

:02:27. > :02:33.And to tell us more is Nigel Crook a robots expert from Oxford Brooks

:02:34. > :02:39.University. What makes robots so special? They are so cool because

:02:40. > :02:44.they can copy the way animals move and they can interact with the world

:02:45. > :02:51.around them. What you think robots will be able to do in 20 years time?

:02:52. > :02:55.They will be able to sense more. They will be more sophisticated and

:02:56. > :03:03.be able to interact more and think more. What are some of the most

:03:04. > :03:09.fascinating findings you have found? I think it is the sensing that

:03:10. > :03:20.impresses me. I have seen some touch sensors which can feel the surface.

:03:21. > :03:24.Do you think robots could do my job? I think they could probably read and

:03:25. > :03:30.autocue but they do not have the personality you have got. I am

:03:31. > :03:36.relieved! How can people start learning more about robots and how

:03:37. > :03:42.can kids get involved? A good way to do that is to encourage your school

:03:43. > :03:47.to start up a robotics club and get a local university to come in and

:03:48. > :03:52.build some robots. That is fantastic, thank you.

:03:53. > :03:56.Sport now and England came out winners in their massive Six Nations

:03:57. > :04:00.Rugby clash with Wales yesterday. Danny Care was quickly onto the

:04:01. > :04:03.score sheet with a try within the first five minutes, before a sharp

:04:04. > :04:07.kick from Billy Twelvetrees gave Luther Burrell the chance to pick up

:04:08. > :04:10.a second score. It means England still have a chance of the title but

:04:11. > :04:15.they'll need France to beat Ireland next weekend.

:04:16. > :04:18.Footie now, and FA Cup holders Wigan will be heading back to Wembley for

:04:19. > :04:22.a semi final against Arsenal after stunning Manchester City in a repeat

:04:23. > :04:26.of last year's final. James Perch put Wigan 2-0 up and though City

:04:27. > :04:29.pulled one back, their hopes of a domestic treble are over.

:04:30. > :04:34.And Hull City are into their first semifinal for over 80 years. David

:04:35. > :04:38.Meyler scored the second of three goals in nine minutes to give the

:04:39. > :04:42.Tigers a 3-0 win over Sunderland. They'll face Sheffield United in the

:04:43. > :04:46.other semi. And last up, Ricky the poodle has

:04:47. > :04:50.been crowned Best in Show at this year's Crufts! The two-year-old

:04:51. > :04:55.standard poodle beat six other Best in Group winners in the final of the

:04:56. > :04:58.top dog show. His owner Jason said that he's very proud of Ricky, whose

:04:59. > :05:01.official name is Afterglow Maverick Sabre! I think I prefer Ricky.

:05:02. > :05:03.Bye-bye.
