:00:35. > :00:37.in India have been looking at the effects of the air pollution.

:00:38. > :01:03.Hello. We are the students of Gandhi Memorial public school in Delhi, and

:01:04. > :01:07.we are on a busy road to measure the air pollution. The number of

:01:08. > :01:13.particles in the air is made up of the safe limit of 25. We are young

:01:14. > :01:18.people growing up in what is often called the most polluted city in the

:01:19. > :01:22.world and we will investigate whether the capital can raise future

:01:23. > :01:30.generations. This is where we go to school in east Delhi. The early

:01:31. > :01:34.morning sky is full of dust. Earlier, the levels were much worse

:01:35. > :01:38.making it difficult to even breathe. One of the major causes of pollution

:01:39. > :01:46.is the increasing number of vehicles. Around 1400 get added to

:01:47. > :01:51.the roads in Delhi every day. Other problems include pollution from

:01:52. > :01:58.construction sites and burning fires. To find out more we went to

:01:59. > :02:05.see a local doctor. Weight air pollution is a problem with

:02:06. > :02:17.children. Every day we come across 13 to 20 children who are suffering

:02:18. > :02:27.from air pollution diseases. Illnesses include pneumonia.

:02:28. > :02:32.Intellectual activities will be disturbed. According to the monitor,

:02:33. > :02:40.pollution levels near our school are around 200. They should not be more

:02:41. > :02:45.than 25. Air pollution is causing millions of early deaths every year,

:02:46. > :02:56.mostly in developing countries, and therefore cities like Ali need

:02:57. > :02:59.urgent action. White Mac whether Delhi is enough for the next

:03:00. > :03:02.generation depends on what we do today. We need to reduce the number

:03:03. > :03:06.of cars on the roads, and we need to improve public transport, better

:03:07. > :03:11.Metro service, and more buses. All people need to come together to

:03:12. > :03:16.plant trees to ensure that all trees in the city stay alive, and we need

:03:17. > :03:21.to prevent trucks and other diesel vehicles coming into the city.

:03:22. > :03:24.Weight no doubt, the government is making efforts to find a solution to

:03:25. > :03:32.the problem but it needs a commitment from the public.

:03:33. > :03:35.The number of African rhinos being killed for their horns

:03:36. > :03:38.by poachers has gone up for the sixth year in a row.

:03:39. > :03:43.Research from the International Union

:03:44. > :03:45.for Conservation of Nature says at least 1,300

:03:46. > :03:51.rhinos were killed across Africa last year.

:03:52. > :03:54.There are around 30,000 southern white and black rhinos left

:03:55. > :04:21.And some of the most popular stars of the canine world are heading

:04:22. > :04:24.to this year's Crufts, the world's largest dog show.

:04:25. > :04:25.The annual event gets underway today in Birmingham

:04:26. > :04:28.and the pooches with the biggest following on Instagram have been

:04:29. > :04:30.invited along this year to take part.

:04:31. > :04:33.The show's organisers say it will be a good chance for the animals
