0:00:00 > 0:00:08See you.

0:00:16 > 0:00:18Morning, I'm Ricky, it's Friday and you are live

0:00:18 > 0:00:19with Newsround on CBBC.

0:00:19 > 0:00:23All this on the way...

0:00:23 > 0:00:29How a fly's eyes make it a deadly hunter.

0:00:29 > 0:00:33And the new 3D printed hand built at a school.

0:00:33 > 0:00:35But first to the Great Barrier Reef, off the coast

0:00:35 > 0:00:36of Queensland in Australia.

0:00:36 > 0:00:38It's the largest living thing on earth,

0:00:38 > 0:00:41and even visible from outer space.

0:00:41 > 0:00:43But scientists say it has been hit by widespread bleaching

0:00:43 > 0:00:46of its corals for the second year in a row.

0:00:46 > 0:00:48The first aerial survey of 2017 shows large areas

0:00:48 > 0:00:50of the reef have been damaged by high water temperatures.

0:00:50 > 0:00:56Experts say they're worried about the reef's long-term health.

0:00:56 > 0:00:58Next up, the scientists getting a fly's-eye view of the world.

0:00:58 > 0:01:01This insect has some pretty impressive eyes and researchers have

0:01:01 > 0:01:07been finding out how they help them to be so good at hunting.

0:01:07 > 0:01:13This tiny robber fly is the size of a grain of rice but can pinpoint

0:01:13 > 0:01:14and catch prey in midair.

0:01:14 > 0:01:17It locks onto its target in less than a second.

0:01:17 > 0:01:20It's all down to the robber fly's eyes.

0:01:20 > 0:01:25They have large lenses and a lot of really tiny sensors which allow

0:01:25 > 0:01:27them to spot and lock onto their prey.

0:01:27 > 0:01:37This means they can really see well.

0:01:40 > 0:01:42In fact, the small fly has the same detail of vision

0:01:42 > 0:01:43of a much larger dragonfly.

0:01:43 > 0:01:46Researchers used high-speed cameras to show how the fly positions itself

0:01:46 > 0:01:49to capture moving prey, and found out that the fly

0:01:49 > 0:01:51keeps its victim in its line of sight the whole time.

0:01:51 > 0:01:54The next step for scientists is to find how the fly's brain takes

0:01:54 > 0:01:59this information and turns it into action in the blink of an eye.

0:01:59 > 0:02:03Now to the 3D printed hand which has been made at a school.

0:02:03 > 0:02:06It's for Andrew - he was born with a condition which means one

0:02:06 > 0:02:09of his hands is smaller and less developed than the other.

0:02:09 > 0:02:11It will help him grip things more easily.

0:02:11 > 0:02:14The hand was made at a school which is the only one in the UK

0:02:14 > 0:02:15to have a manufacturing lab.

0:02:15 > 0:02:21I do enjoy helping people, and I think this is something that

0:02:21 > 0:02:24really would leave a big impact on his life.

0:02:24 > 0:02:30It's also good for us because we can learn more about it

0:02:30 > 0:02:32and how it's made.

0:02:32 > 0:02:37We want to give him the opportunities that he should be

0:02:37 > 0:02:44able to do at such a young age.

0:02:44 > 0:02:50Football now, and this weekend it's the FA Cup quarterfinals.

0:02:50 > 0:02:52And taking on the mighty Arsenal, are non-league Lincoln City,

0:02:52 > 0:02:54who made it through thanks to a dramatic last minute winner

0:02:54 > 0:02:55who made it through thanks to a dramatic last minute winner

0:02:55 > 0:02:56against Premier League team Burnley.

0:02:56 > 0:02:58Can they do it again?

0:02:58 > 0:02:58Can they do it again?

0:02:58 > 0:02:59Can they do it again?
