:00:00. > :00:14.Nel here with the amazing room where everyone's bouncing off the walls.

:00:15. > :00:19.I will be looking into the debate as to whether primates like these will

:00:20. > :00:23.be kept as pets. Let's start with

:00:24. > :00:25.a big controversy involving schools, David Cameron has backed plans

:00:26. > :00:33.for all schools in England to teach British values in lessons

:00:34. > :00:35.after claims that five schools in Birmingham tried to impose

:00:36. > :00:44.hardline Muslim views on pupils. Schools in Birmingham are finding

:00:45. > :00:48.themselves in the spotlight after government inspectors in England

:00:49. > :00:53.said that hardline Muslims have forced their views on pupils and

:00:54. > :00:58.teachers there. The report said that, among other things, girls and

:00:59. > :01:05.boys had been separated in some classes and some teachers have been

:01:06. > :01:13.bullied by their bosses. I have come to a school in Birmingham which is

:01:14. > :01:20.under these investigations and I spoke to some kids about how they

:01:21. > :01:27.feel about it. The mood here this morning is very tense so we didn't

:01:28. > :01:32.get to speak to the kids for a number of reasons. Their parents are

:01:33. > :01:43.very reluctant, and also the parents have been outside blocking the media

:01:44. > :01:46.off. One parent I spoke to said they were very disappointed because this

:01:47. > :01:51.school was a beacon of the community. Another parent said that

:01:52. > :01:56.at this time of year, pupils should be focusing on their exams and

:01:57. > :02:00.getting good grades, but instead the pupils are being distracted because

:02:01. > :02:08.of the investigation. The government says it will look to make the rules

:02:09. > :02:14.tougher across England. We will promote British values at the heart

:02:15. > :02:18.of what every school delivers for children. What we found was an

:02:19. > :02:23.acceptable and we will put it right. Five schools have been placed

:02:24. > :02:27.in special measures which means they will be closely watched by

:02:28. > :02:31.inspectors to make sure changes are made, but some parents and teachers

:02:32. > :02:33.from these schools say they have been treated unfairly and will fight

:02:34. > :02:42.the decision. Several beaches

:02:43. > :02:44.in America have been closed after a big group of sharks were

:02:45. > :02:47.spotted swimming close to shore. This video shows a school

:02:48. > :02:50.in shallow waters close to Alabama. Experts think dead fish left

:02:51. > :02:53.in the water by fishermen recently From scary sharks to pet primates,

:02:54. > :02:57.and the question of whether it's cruel to keep monkeys at home

:02:58. > :03:01.like you would a cat or dog. At the moment it's not illegal but

:03:02. > :03:14.politicians have been looking at Monkeys, Gibbons, lemurs... The

:03:15. > :03:17.thought of having a pet like one of these may seem fun but there is a

:03:18. > :03:24.big debate at the moment over whether primates should be kept at

:03:25. > :03:30.home as pets. At the moment it is not against the law, you don't need

:03:31. > :03:38.a license to buy and sell or breed these species, although you do for

:03:39. > :03:43.the larger ones. Some animal rights groups believe it should be banned.

:03:44. > :03:49.They are extremely complex wild animals that do not make good pets.

:03:50. > :03:56.What is the difference between these primates and pets like cats and

:03:57. > :03:59.dogs? At the moment they live in big groups and you may not necessarily

:04:00. > :04:06.have the space. They have a specialist diet, and some small

:04:07. > :04:12.monkeys need special UV lighting which again is expensive, but if you

:04:13. > :04:15.don't have that you can get bone diseases. The politicians say there

:04:16. > :04:21.is an urgent need to find out how many primates are being kept as pets

:04:22. > :04:27.before any decision can be made. No one really knows and with anything

:04:28. > :04:38.up to 20,000 out there it could be a while before anything is done.

:04:39. > :04:44.England's first indoor trampoline park has just opened up in Surrey.

:04:45. > :04:46.The converted warehouse has wall to wall trampoline,

:04:47. > :04:49.basketball nets for dunking and foam pits for a safe landing.

:04:50. > :04:55.That is all from me and Newsround for now, but another helping is
