:00:07. > :00:17.Siobhan-Marie O'Connor is getting very close indeed. Silver to Great

:00:18. > :00:24.Britain. Two more silver medals in the pool for Team GB. This is your

:00:25. > :00:25.Olympic Newsround coming to you live from Copacabana beach, here in

:00:26. > :00:40.Brazil. Hello and welcome to a rather wet

:00:41. > :00:45.and very windy and a pretty great Copacabana beach. It is one of the

:00:46. > :00:50.main talking points in this city. People love coming here. But the

:00:51. > :00:53.weather isn't great today and that's because it is winter right here in

:00:54. > :00:58.Brazil so it's pretty changeable, and that bad weather has meant that

:00:59. > :01:01.today's rowing events have had to be cancelled which is really

:01:02. > :01:06.disappointing for Team GB, who have quite a few medal hopefuls. It has

:01:07. > :01:12.not dampened the spirits of the swimmers who won silver medals

:01:13. > :01:16.overnight in the men's four by 200 metres relay and in the women's

:01:17. > :01:20.medley with Siobhan-Marie O'Connor. I never thought I would be an

:01:21. > :01:25.Olympic athlete, but if you love something and work hard, that's what

:01:26. > :01:31.I've done and I am just over the moon. Well, fantastic news for her.

:01:32. > :01:34.Hoping to be over the moon is Tour de France winner Chris Froome in the

:01:35. > :01:39.cycling. He's going for gold in the men's time trial. He set off

:01:40. > :01:44.earlier, as did fellow Brit Geraint Thomas. There is still a mystery

:01:45. > :01:49.over what turned the diving pool a murky green colour last night. Some

:01:50. > :01:52.people think it could have been down to algae, or even somebody dying it

:01:53. > :01:58.to match the colour of the Brazil flag. The water was tested and found

:01:59. > :02:02.to be safe for diving to go ahead. Women's weightlifting is happening

:02:03. > :02:07.right about now, featuring one of Team GB's youngest athletes. She is

:02:08. > :02:13.only 17 years old, Rebecca Tyler. We caught up with three of her sister

:02:14. > :02:21.is a little earlier. Hello, I'm Sophie. I'm Emily. And I'm Lisa. Our

:02:22. > :02:26.sister is an Olympic athlete. The best thing about my sister is that

:02:27. > :02:31.she teaches different weightlifting techniques. She looks after us and

:02:32. > :02:36.she is really helpful and kind. And she's just nice to be around. I

:02:37. > :02:45.really miss Rebecca but we stay in touch at least every day. By on the

:02:46. > :02:52.phone, Skype, like different social media. I'm looking forward to her

:02:53. > :02:55.coming home. Our house is really competitive, you can be having

:02:56. > :02:59.breakfast and we are trying to lift each other up and see how many

:03:00. > :03:03.people we can lift up. It's really nice to watch her on TV. She's met

:03:04. > :03:08.Andy Murray, Nicola Evans and everybody. I'm a bit jealous she is

:03:09. > :03:13.over there getting to see all the stars and stuff. When I'm watching

:03:14. > :03:16.her I feel a bit nervous for her. And it's just Carey watching in case

:03:17. > :03:23.she misses out, but she never really does. I'm hoping that Rebecca is

:03:24. > :03:30.going to get gold. Good luck, Rebecca. Thanks, girls, and good

:03:31. > :03:35.luck to Rebecca. Joining me here now is see BBC's Steve Banks show. Thank

:03:36. > :03:39.you for joining us. Helen, your fiance, is taking but in the

:03:40. > :03:45.Olympics, what is she doing? She's a row in the women's pair. She is

:03:46. > :03:47.defending champion here. At the moment it's really frustrating

:03:48. > :03:52.because winds mean that the rowing events have had to be cancelled so

:03:53. > :03:58.they are very much on edge. Psyched up and raring to race and at the

:03:59. > :04:02.moment it's not happening. She won gold at London 2012, what is it like

:04:03. > :04:06.supporting her and being out here? It's terrifying, I hate it. It's so

:04:07. > :04:09.stressful because you know how much the athletes have gone through to

:04:10. > :04:14.get here and how much it means to win gold. Something as simple as the

:04:15. > :04:18.weather can throw a spanner in the works. Will they be in action

:04:19. > :04:22.tomorrow? That is the hope but the weather is also forecast to be bad.

:04:23. > :04:27.Somehow this regatta is going to have to be packed into a couple of

:04:28. > :04:30.days. I thought it would always be sunny and bright here. Have you

:04:31. > :04:35.spotted any wildlife? You cannot miss it. There are at least four or

:04:36. > :04:40.five species of stunning birds we can see now. So yeah, it's

:04:41. > :04:46.fantastic. And algae in the water, is that why the pool went green? I

:04:47. > :04:49.would say so. In a warm and humid environment you can develop algae

:04:50. > :04:54.very quickly if you do not use the right chemicals. Best of luck to

:04:55. > :04:58.Helen Glover tomorrow, we wish her all the best. Thanks for talking to

:04:59. > :05:01.Newsround. See you very soon, goodbye.
