:00:52. > :00:54.it's been cut off from the outside world because of fighting.
:00:55. > :00:56.Over the last six months, the 40,000 people that live there
:00:57. > :01:01.It's also meant no-one has been able to come into the town too.
:01:02. > :01:06.food, water and electricity supplies are very low.
:01:07. > :01:09.Sadly, Syria has been at war for five years and it's torn
:01:10. > :01:12.the country apart into the areas controlled by the government
:01:13. > :01:15.and other areas controlled by different opposition groups
:01:16. > :01:18.and the war is so intense that all sides are willing to use
:01:19. > :01:21.whatever it takes to try to gain advantage over their enemy,
:01:22. > :01:25.and that has meant even cutting off regular food and water and medical
:01:26. > :01:28.supplies into communities, which has left people,
:01:29. > :01:45.So what is happening today is that all sides have agreed
:01:46. > :01:47.But so many other areas are still desperate
:01:48. > :01:53.Now that the town of Madiya has got supplies for next month,
:01:54. > :01:55.it's hoped aid agencies will be able to get more supplies

:04:08. > :04:15.across two continents and 14 countries.
:04:16. > :04:22.He's worn out 17 pairs of shoes and travelled over 10,000 miles.
