:01:05. > :01:08.It's the worst case of this type the country has ever seen.

:01:09. > :01:10.It's not uncommon for these animals to become beached like this.

:01:11. > :01:20.Beaching is when whales become stuck on sand

:01:21. > :01:30.Marine scientists don't have one clear reason

:01:31. > :01:35.It's thought some whales become stranded because they are sick

:01:36. > :01:38.or injured and are pushed in shore by currents, or are

:01:39. > :01:45.Whales rely on something called sonar to work out where

:01:46. > :01:53.They send sound waves or pulses which bounce back of surfaces.

:01:54. > :01:57.They have been linked to whales getting stranded because scientists

:01:58. > :02:00.think if the two crossed paths, the whales could become

:02:01. > :02:03.It's thought changes in the environment could cause them

:02:04. > :02:06.Perhaps food stocks are low, temperatures are unusually high

:02:07. > :02:09.or low, or the water they are in has become polluted.

:02:10. > :02:17.It is thought they can sometimes lose their way into shallow waters

:02:18. > :02:19.by accident while travelling to warmer waters to mate.

:02:20. > :02:21.Whales are very sociable creatures and often travel

:02:22. > :02:30.Marines think if any whale is affected by any

:02:31. > :02:32.of the last four reasons, any travelling with

:02:33. > :02:36.Seeing pictures of your friends, beautiful places, or cute animals

:02:37. > :02:39.on social media can be fun, but what if a picture of you pops up

:02:40. > :02:43.Some of the people who post the most pictures of you,

:02:44. > :02:46.are parents and you don't always think that's a good thing.

:02:47. > :02:53.When my mum takes pictures of me, she'll do it when I'm not looking

:02:54. > :03:01.and then she'll not as can just put it up.

:03:05. > :03:08.Sometimes I wish that they wouldn't have social media because they might

:03:29. > :03:30.they feel embarrassed, anxious or worried when their

:03:31. > :03:33.parents post pictures of them on social media sites.

:03:34. > :03:36.Soh, do mums and dads need to think more about what they are sharing?

:03:37. > :03:39.My mum took a picture of me when I was sleeping,

:03:40. > :03:42.so I obviously really didn't know until the morning when she told me

:03:43. > :03:45.to look how many coments it had and I was really angry at her.

:03:46. > :03:47.They just post whatever they can find and just don't

:03:48. > :03:51.They might just post it to have a laugh with their mates

:03:52. > :03:58.and think it's fine for them, but it might not be funny for you.

:03:59. > :04:00.You think about it, but they don't think about it.

:04:01. > :04:04.You don't want that happening to your child.

:04:05. > :04:08.More than one in four say they been unhappy with a picture someone

:04:09. > :04:12.That's mainly because they didn't like the way they looked ot

:04:13. > :04:14.that person did not ask for their permission, and some even

:04:15. > :04:18.My friend posted a story of me and I didn't like it.

:04:19. > :04:21.I asked him to take it down and he took it down.

:04:22. > :04:24.Maybe the reason you don't have a social media account

:04:25. > :04:27.if you don't want anyone to see your photo and then people

:04:28. > :04:31.I just think it's not nice without permission.

:04:32. > :04:34.When I seen as the comments, I feel really scared to use social

:04:35. > :04:37.media because I then want to be targeted like them.

:04:38. > :04:40.When my friend posted an embarassing photo of me, is make me feel

:04:41. > :04:44.More than one in three of the kids they are sending a photo of them

:04:45. > :04:47.they didn't like make them feel sad, anxious or nervous.

:04:48. > :04:49.What can you do about feeling that way?

:04:50. > :04:51.Approach the person who has been the photo online of them,

:04:52. > :04:55.ask them to take it down and tell them they are worried about it.

:04:56. > :04:57.Speak to a parent or another trusted adult.

:04:58. > :04:59.Sometimes a parent can reassure the child that although the photo

:05:00. > :05:02.might be embarrassing at the moment, a couple of days, it

:05:03. > :05:09.But the good news is that there's mum and dads who do get it right.

:05:10. > :05:12.Nearly half of 10-12 year olds we asked said they were OK

:05:13. > :05:14.with what their parents posted and will always make them

:05:15. > :05:26.It can affect the child's life further on and the

:05:27. > :05:29.Your child's friends will see whatever you comment on their photo.

:05:30. > :05:31.When you post photos, ask first because sometimes
