:00:09. > :00:14.The Vikings are back in York, but don't worry!

:00:15. > :00:24.And check out the largest maze in Spain.

:00:25. > :00:26.But first this morning, around 51,000 children

:00:27. > :00:30.able to join the scouts, beavers or cubs.

:00:31. > :00:35.there's a big shortage of volunteers in areas like Surrey,

:00:36. > :00:39.It means waiting lists can't fall unless more adults join

:00:40. > :00:43.They also say those who are signed up currently aren't able

:00:44. > :01:00.One of Britain's biggest tourist attractions,

:01:01. > :01:03.the Jorvik Centre in York, has reopened again over a year

:01:04. > :01:05.after it was forced to close because of flooding.

:01:06. > :01:14.We sent Ricky up for the reopening and to find out about it.

:01:15. > :01:26.MUSIC ... And this is the Jorvik Centre, one of the most popular

:01:27. > :01:31.museums and visitor attractions in the UK. It is all about these guys,

:01:32. > :01:37.Vikings. They are finally reopening the doors after severe flooding

:01:38. > :01:41.forced it to close down. When those floodwaters came in there was

:01:42. > :01:45.nowhere for the water to escape. In some parts of the museum it was

:01:46. > :01:51.about one metre high, causing a lot of damage. But look at it today.

:01:52. > :01:55.What happened back in December 2015? Most of us were at home enjoying

:01:56. > :02:00.Christmas and I got a call to say water was coming in the back door.

:02:01. > :02:05.We called in the conservation team, the collections team, to come and

:02:06. > :02:09.get all the objects out. There are 1000 objects here and we had to get

:02:10. > :02:14.them to safety. Luckily, everything in the museum was saved. Some of the

:02:15. > :02:19.items in here are priceless. Added you get to this stage now? A lot of

:02:20. > :02:24.hard work, a lot of people involved. We decided early on we wanted to do

:02:25. > :02:28.something different. Schoolkids have been coming to this museum for more

:02:29. > :02:34.than 30 years. What do they think of the changes? I was really sad.

:02:35. > :02:38.Because it is a really cool place and a lot of the sides could have

:02:39. > :02:44.been damaged. It was amazing how civilised we were then. The smells

:02:45. > :02:47.were very disgusting! It really brought the Viking period to live

:02:48. > :02:52.and there were lots of different things that were really interesting.

:02:53. > :02:55.This team have worked hard to protect the museum from future

:02:56. > :02:57.flooding so people can continue to see what the Vikings did all those

:02:58. > :03:02.years ago. The first ever cargo train

:03:03. > :03:05.from the UK to China It took loads of things to sell,

:03:06. > :03:08.like fizzy drinks and medicines, on an epic 7,500-mile journey

:03:09. > :03:12.over 18 days. But what would you see, and need,

:03:13. > :03:25.if you took the trip? As the train pulls out of the base

:03:26. > :03:29.in Essex it will travel to waltz the Channel Tunnel, meaning it will see

:03:30. > :03:34.this for a while. After resurfacing in France you will travel on through

:03:35. > :03:38.to Belgium. If you have a sweet tooth you might expect it to be

:03:39. > :03:43.filled with fancy chocolate, but instead you will see a lot of

:03:44. > :03:47.exciting European Union buildings. After cruising through Germany, next

:03:48. > :03:51.is Poland. It is one of nine countries in the European Union that

:03:52. > :03:54.does not have the euro. Make sure you take some Polish coins with you

:03:55. > :04:00.to buy a postcard. Swing through Belarus to Russia. If temperatures

:04:01. > :04:04.drop and it slows it might be worth picking up a traditional Russian at

:04:05. > :04:08.with ear flaps to keep warm. Kazakhstan is made up of a lot of

:04:09. > :04:15.flat desert, good for rocket launchers. That is where Major Tim

:04:16. > :04:19.Peake and his crew launched to get TV I S S and landed safely back on

:04:20. > :04:24.Earth. China is famous for tea, the great Wall and making lots of things

:04:25. > :04:31.like technology and clothes. Train bosses say the 7500 mile trip to the

:04:32. > :04:33.Chinese city by train is faster than by sea and cheaper than by air.

:04:34. > :04:36.Toot, to! And finally, we see a lot

:04:37. > :04:39.of a-mazing things here This is the largest maze in Spain -

:04:40. > :04:44.its made from four thousand trees, is over five kilometres long

:04:45. > :04:46.and it'll take you about an hour That's all from me, Newsround's back

:04:47. > :05:03.right here in about half an hour. Hi, my name's Gwen.

:05:04. > :05:06.Hi, my name's Elin.
