:00:55. > :00:58.obviously the winds feel extra special because of the tough losses,

:00:59. > :01:04.so I'm proud to have my hands on the Trippi again. -- on the trophy.

:01:05. > :01:07.And the win was part of an incredible Wimbledon Sunday

:01:59. > :02:02.Lewis spoke right after the race about how hard it was

:02:03. > :02:12.Trying not to make a mistake was difficult for all of us, but that is

:02:13. > :02:15.what I love about this race. It is never just smooth sailing, there are

:02:16. > :02:18.always things that happen through the race that make it spectacular.

:02:19. > :02:24.That is why the British Grand Prix is the best we have.

:02:25. > :02:27.And rounding up a packed Sunday of sporting action was the final of

:02:28. > :02:32.Hosts France took on Portugal, and here's a look at the action.

:02:33. > :02:35.Last night a month of footballing action came to an end and,

:02:36. > :02:37.in this season of surprises, there was one more

:02:38. > :02:41.France, the hosts, had gone into the final

:02:42. > :02:45.And in Antoine Griezeman they had the Euros' top scorer.

:02:46. > :02:49.But on the big night, he couldn't find the goal.

:02:50. > :02:51.Portugal, of course, have their own star player -

:02:52. > :02:56.But for once he wasn't the hero, leaving the match early,

:02:57. > :02:59.and in tears, after picking up an injury.

:03:00. > :03:02.France might have thought they were in luck at this point,

:03:03. > :03:06.but as the match headed into extra time they were denied by the post.

:03:07. > :03:08.Portugal refused to buckle and, out of nothing, a wonder goal

:03:09. > :03:20.France were stunned - and the country that finished third

:03:21. > :03:23.in their group went on to win the tournament

:03:24. > :03:30.And their players enjoyed every moment of a historic win.

:03:31. > :03:33.The UK's first robot is being remade by a museum.

:03:34. > :03:38.He was a bit of a celebrity and travelled the world,

:03:39. > :03:45.Now a project is making a modern-day copy of Eric, who could stand,

:03:46. > :03:47.move his arms and legs, and rotate his head.

:03:48. > :03:57.What we hope to do with Reid completed in time for a major

:03:58. > :04:02.What we hope to do with Reid building Eric is to reverse engineer

:04:03. > :04:07.what was in there. We knew what he did but how he did it internally is

:04:08. > :04:12.still a mystery for us. The hardest bit of building Eric has definitely

:04:13. > :04:18.been doing the skin, the shell. It involves using paper to get the

:04:19. > :04:23.right shape, cutting out the aluminium, bending it around all of

:04:24. > :04:30.the bits. Trial and error but it is coming together. It is not my style

:04:31. > :04:34.of robot, it is going back into the past, there are some things I would

:04:35. > :04:37.like to change and modify but I can't, because it is a replica.

:04:38. > :04:40.Last up this morning, people in this village in Russia

:04:41. > :04:42.have a rather unusual way of celebrating their national day.

:04:45. > :04:46.Organisers say the contest is growing every year and 100 people

:04:47. > :04:55.The top distance thrown was 46.5 metres - a new record.

:04:56. > :05:01.That's all for now, Newsround's back in about half an hour.
