:00:32. > :00:36.live with Newsround and me, Nel. Coming up? Why the sky will be full

:00:36. > :00:41.of shooting stars tonight. And, a sneak peek into the weird

:00:41. > :00:49.world of Jedward. This is Newsround. First up, calling all stargazers -

:00:49. > :00:55.meteor shower tonight! The Perseids happen every August when the Earth

:00:55. > :01:01.passes through a trail of debris left by a comet. And sorry, parents,

:01:01. > :01:07.the later you guys stay up, the clearer it'll be. I've been chatting

:01:07. > :01:15.to an extragalactic astronomer to get some top tips on how to catch

:01:15. > :01:23.some shooting stars! There is an event happening tonight. We will be

:01:23. > :01:33.experiencing their Perseids meteor shower. The comet leaves some debris

:01:33. > :01:37.behind and as we go through the debris trail of dust particles burn

:01:37. > :01:45.up in the atmosphere and give us bright light. Will I need a

:01:45. > :01:55.telescope? No, the best instrument to use all your eyes. Lie on the

:01:55. > :01:56.

:01:56. > :02:01.grass or sit on a chair and looked up at the sky and you should see

:02:01. > :02:06.many. What is happening in the sky? the comet, we're smashing through

:02:06. > :02:13.the dust particles. As these particles burn up through the

:02:13. > :02:18.atmosphere, they are coming at 140,000 miles an hour. So one of

:02:18. > :02:25.these little particles, the devastation that that could cause is

:02:25. > :02:29.the equivalent of a 40 tonne juggernaut. But we have the Earth 's

:02:29. > :02:33.atmosphere so we are not in danger. To Northern Ireland now where police

:02:33. > :02:37.are hoping there won't be a repeat of Friday night's violence later

:02:37. > :02:42.today. They've called for calm ahead of a Republican march taking place

:02:42. > :02:46.in County Tyrone. On Friday, more than 50 police officers were hurt in

:02:46. > :02:50.disturbances in Belfast during a Republican march. Loyalists want

:02:50. > :02:54.Northern Ireland to remain part of the UK. Republicans want the country

:02:54. > :02:57.to belong to the Republic of Ireland. It was the latest in a

:02:57. > :03:01.series of violent clashes on the streets of Belfast.

:03:01. > :03:05.Next - a charity which provides emergency food supplies to British

:03:05. > :03:10.families says it's been snowed under with requests for emergency meals

:03:10. > :03:16.since the start of the summer break. The Trussell Trust says it's their

:03:16. > :03:23.busiest summer ever as people struggle to feed their families and

:03:23. > :03:29.some of their branches have seen requests for food double. This is

:03:29. > :03:33.about children who are facing a summer holiday with worry and

:03:33. > :03:38.anxiety in the home. There are children going hungry and they are

:03:38. > :03:42.concerned about where the next meal will come from. Food banks are doing

:03:42. > :03:46.their best to put services in place. Now, after Mo Farah's magnificent

:03:46. > :03:53.win at the World Athletics Championships in Moscow yesterday,

:03:53. > :03:57.all eyes will be on another A-list continues in his mission to win the

:03:57. > :04:01.100 metres as the semifinals take place this afternoon. He made it

:04:01. > :04:07.look very easy yesterday, breezing through the heats. We'll have to

:04:07. > :04:11.wait until the end of the week to see if the Mo-bot himself can break

:04:11. > :04:16.yet another record. If he wins the 5,000 metres on Friday, he'll become

:04:16. > :04:17.only the second athlete in history to win double gold medals at

:04:17. > :04:22.consecutive Olympic and World Championships.

:04:22. > :04:28.Now, ever since they were booted off the X Factor four years ago Jedward

:04:28. > :04:32.have been on a mission to take over the planet - and to be fair they're

:04:32. > :04:38.not doing a bad job. They've been giving Newsround a sneak peek into

:04:38. > :04:47.their weird and wonderful world. Together we are Jedward. The biggest

:04:47. > :04:56.news is that John and Edward now have a flat here. Just today we have

:04:56. > :05:06.flat here because we have just had a shower. Since last time we have got

:05:06. > :05:11.

:05:11. > :05:21.a blind new dog -- a brand-new job -- a brand-new dog. We also met a

:05:21. > :05:26.

:05:26. > :05:34.call I love beer. -- we also got a koala. Once you play a guitar once
