0:00:05 > 0:00:07Hi, I'm Ricky winding up your week with some top

0:00:07 > 0:00:09stories from Newsround.

0:00:09 > 0:00:11Coming up live we've got:

0:00:11 > 0:00:12Dough!

0:00:12 > 0:00:22It's a pepperoni party on the motorway!

0:00:26 > 0:00:29From pizza to Perseid - how you can watch the incredible

0:00:29 > 0:00:30meteor show this weekend

0:00:30 > 0:00:34Well first we're heading to the US, where there's been a big rise

0:00:34 > 0:00:36in numbers of people trying to cross over to Canada,

0:00:36 > 0:00:37the country next door.

0:00:37 > 0:00:39There are now so many people trying to get across,

0:00:39 > 0:00:41a special camp has been built for them.

0:00:41 > 0:00:45Ayshah has this.

0:00:45 > 0:00:49Hundreds of people carrying all their belongings wait to cross

0:00:49 > 0:00:53the border in the hope of a new life in Canada.

0:00:53 > 0:00:58Canada is really, really beautiful, and the people are beautiful.

0:00:58 > 0:01:00They help each other.

0:01:00 > 0:01:03They've come from lots of different countries, but most of these

0:01:03 > 0:01:06migrants are from Haiti, in the Caribbean.

0:01:06 > 0:01:09A big earthquake hit the country in 2010 and many

0:01:09 > 0:01:12people escaped to the US - but now they're not sure

0:01:12 > 0:01:14whether they'll be allowed to stay in America.

0:01:14 > 0:01:17That's because President Donald Trump has promised to crack down

0:01:17 > 0:01:20on people from other countries who do not have permission

0:01:20 > 0:01:23to live in the US.

0:01:23 > 0:01:25But for those making the journey, there's no guarantee they'll be

0:01:25 > 0:01:28allowed to stay in Canada either.

0:01:28 > 0:01:33People hope a lot that things will be better for them

0:01:33 > 0:01:36and there will be, something will happen that will allow them to stay

0:01:36 > 0:01:42here, but it's a very long and very tiring process,

0:01:42 > 0:01:46and the risk of being sent back to their country is real here, too.

0:01:46 > 0:01:48And Canada is struggling to cope with its new arrivals.

0:01:48 > 0:01:51The city of Montreal has had to turn its Olympic Stadium

0:01:51 > 0:01:53into a temporary shelter, and the Canadian military has

0:01:53 > 0:01:55started building a camp for people to stay in.

0:01:55 > 0:01:57For those people queuing to get into the country,

0:01:57 > 0:01:59it's the start of a difficult journey towards starting

0:01:59 > 0:02:00another new life.

0:02:00 > 0:02:02Next up - how is this for weird?

0:02:02 > 0:02:05We've all seen shells and seaweed washed up on a beach

0:02:05 > 0:02:06but what about this?

0:02:06 > 0:02:08Two 450 metre long pipes have rolled their way

0:02:08 > 0:02:10onto the beach at Winterton and Sea Palling in Norfolk.

0:02:10 > 0:02:13They came loose whilst being transported to North Africa

0:02:13 > 0:02:18and ten more pipes are still out there somewhere.

0:02:18 > 0:02:21And they're not the only strange things to find

0:02:21 > 0:02:23their way onto the shore - get to newsround online

0:02:23 > 0:02:25for the weirdest things to wash up on beach.

0:02:25 > 0:02:29The World Athletics Championships come to an end in London but not

0:02:29 > 0:02:32before Britain's greatest athlete, Mo Farah, runs one of his last

0:02:32 > 0:02:37races on the track.

0:02:37 > 0:02:39So lets take a look at those magic Mo Moments.

0:02:39 > 0:02:44Mo Farah celebrating a win has become a familiar sight,

0:02:44 > 0:02:47and he's hoping for yet another at the 5000 metres on Saturday,

0:02:47 > 0:02:51one of his last ever races before he retires.

0:02:51 > 0:02:55But let's back up a moment and go back to the start.

0:02:55 > 0:02:57Mo moved from Somalia in Africa to England

0:02:57 > 0:03:01when he was only eight years old.

0:03:01 > 0:03:05He barely knew a word of English, but it was here that he first

0:03:05 > 0:03:06realised he could run - and fast!

0:03:06 > 0:03:08From then on, there was no stopping him.

0:03:08 > 0:03:12His first major win came in 2011 when he took gold in the 5000m

0:03:12 > 0:03:15at the World Championships in South Korea.

0:03:15 > 0:03:18Mo moved to the US and trained hard in some tough

0:03:18 > 0:03:21conditions, but it paid off.

0:03:21 > 0:03:24He stormed the London 2012 Olympics, picking up two golds and, of course,

0:03:24 > 0:03:28celebrating with his famous Mobot.

0:03:28 > 0:03:32Mo took the double again at Rio, and another gold in last week's

0:03:32 > 0:03:3510,000m sealed his place as one of the greatest British

0:03:35 > 0:03:41athletes of all time.

0:03:41 > 0:03:43Stargazers are in for a treat this weekend

0:03:43 > 0:03:46with the Perseid Meteor Shower expected in our skies.

0:03:46 > 0:03:49But what is it and how can you watch it?

0:03:49 > 0:03:50Let's see.

0:03:50 > 0:03:54So this weekend marks the peak of the Perseid Meteor Shower.

0:03:54 > 0:03:56Last night you might have got to see a few

0:03:56 > 0:04:00shooting stars, but over the next couple of nights, you'll get a

0:04:00 > 0:04:02chance to see some more.

0:04:02 > 0:04:04But, we need some cloudless skies, and unfortunately,

0:04:04 > 0:04:07tonight it doesn't look that great.

0:04:07 > 0:04:12At best, north-east England, north-east Scotland might get some

0:04:12 > 0:04:14clearer spells.

0:04:14 > 0:04:16Saturday night, however, looks much better.

0:04:16 > 0:04:18You will have to be up late, or get up early

0:04:18 > 0:04:21in the morning to catch the best of those shooting stars.

0:04:21 > 0:04:23You may see as many as 100 in a minute or

0:04:23 > 0:04:25so falling from the night sky.

0:04:25 > 0:04:27And last up, to an accident that turned into a slice

0:04:27 > 0:04:29of something rather yummy.

0:04:29 > 0:04:33A lorry in America accidentally scraped under a bridge

0:04:33 > 0:04:35and ripped open its trailer, spilling hundreds of frozen pizzas

0:04:35 > 0:04:36all over the motorway!

0:04:36 > 0:04:39No one was hurt but the road had to be closed while the pepperoni

0:04:39 > 0:04:40pizzas were cleared up.

0:04:40 > 0:04:49Dough!

0:04:49 > 0:04:51It sure opened up the truck and it spilled all the

0:04:51 > 0:04:52contents, and it had all

0:04:52 > 0:04:54this frozen pizza inside.

0:04:54 > 0:04:56So, we have got frozen pizza all over the

0:04:56 > 0:04:57Interstate.

0:04:57 > 0:05:01That's all from me, Newsround's back right here in about half an hour.

0:05:02 > 0:05:06My favourite shows are Horrible Histories...

0:05:06 > 0:05:09and I really like Wolfblood, too,
