:00:49. > :00:53.Martin is in Rio and he sent us a round up of the best

:00:54. > :01:01.Tens of thousands of people packed in the Paralympic Park on Day 3.

:01:02. > :01:05.The Brits didn't win as many medals as the first two days but that

:01:06. > :01:10.doesn't mean the action was any less exciting.

:01:11. > :01:14.Kadeena Cox became the first Briton since 1988 to win a medal in two

:01:15. > :01:20.sports at the same Paralympics as she took cycling gold in Rio.

:01:21. > :01:25.Cox won the C4-5 time trial in a world record time -

:01:26. > :01:32.adding to the T38 100m athletics bronze that she picked up on Friday.

:01:33. > :01:34.Over in the athletics stadium,

:01:35. > :01:39.Britain's Hannah Cockroft triumphed in the T34 100m race,

:01:40. > :01:44.holding on to the title she won in London four years ago.

:01:45. > :01:49.The 24-year-old set a new Paralympic record as she stormed to victory.

:01:50. > :01:51.Hannah's 15-year-old team-mate Kare Adenegan,

:01:52. > :01:56.who started racing after watching the London Paralympics, took silver.

:01:57. > :01:58.Earlier, Andy Lewis won PT2 gold as triathlon

:01:59. > :02:06.The 33-year-old, who had his right leg amputated at the age of 22,

:02:07. > :02:11.Paralympics GB also won a silver

:02:12. > :02:13.and three bronze medals, making Day 3 another successful day

:02:14. > :02:22.Well Stef Reid won Britain's first medal of the 2016

:02:23. > :02:26.Paralympic Games, picking up silver in the T44 long jump.

:02:27. > :02:31.She started running with a prosthetic leg at university

:02:32. > :02:33.and is now a three-time Paralympic medallist.

:02:34. > :02:41.Martin met up with her at the Games in Rio to talk about her success.

:02:42. > :02:47.I came into these games are so determined that I was going to enjoy

:02:48. > :02:50.the whole thing. Just coming here and being able to

:02:51. > :02:54.jump and to jump really well. That was one of the best performances I

:02:55. > :03:00.have ever done. It is unbelievably satisfying. The people in Rio are

:03:01. > :03:04.just awesome. They were achieving through the whole competition. They

:03:05. > :03:07.really got into it. Do you think things are getting better in terms

:03:08. > :03:13.of understanding disability at how people approach you and you as an

:03:14. > :03:19.athlete? I think it is. I do speak that a lot of schools and I always

:03:20. > :03:26.know that I have really projected what I want to project when as I am

:03:27. > :03:29.leaving IQ of the casing that is so cool I want an artificial leg! And I

:03:30. > :03:34.just think that is brilliant. It is no longer seen as a negative thing.

:03:35. > :03:38.It is just different. If you want to be a part athlete there are three

:03:39. > :03:45.things, you must be really strong, you need to be really fast and you

:03:46. > :03:50.have also got to have quite a solid head on you. You need to be

:03:51. > :03:57.confident under pressure. The only way to learn how to do that this

:03:58. > :04:00.just try. It has been amazing to see how the Paralympics has taken off at

:04:01. > :04:05.every year evolves and it is so brilliant to see this group of

:04:06. > :04:09.people come together every four years. I love being in the village

:04:10. > :04:14.and chatting to other athletes. We all come from these different

:04:15. > :04:16.backgrounds, different stories, and it is an amazing group of people

:04:17. > :04:23.that ended up doing something that everyone thought was impossible.

:04:24. > :04:25.Sticking with sport and Olympic athlete Mo Farah

:04:26. > :04:28.has become the first man to win the Great North Run

:04:29. > :04:31.He finished the half marathon in one hour and four seconds.

:04:32. > :04:40.Next up - some of the best mountain bikers in the world

:04:41. > :04:43.were in action this weekend, showing off of their sick skills.

:04:44. > :04:45.One rider even managed to break a world record.

:05:40. > :05:44.his double backflip. Great Britain's San pilgrim stepped up with these

:05:45. > :05:49.moves. This is the Superman and this is the full wet. The overall winner

:05:50. > :05:55.otherwise known as the ruler of the day went to Spain's Haldol silver.
