:00:00. > :00:10.Hello everyone. Leah here with Newsround this morning. Coming up:

:00:11. > :00:19.Amazing pictures taken by a ten-year-old photographer from Iraq.

:00:20. > :00:24.Hello, Ricky from Newsround. Stay tuned to find out how this robot

:00:25. > :00:28.will help children communicate better.

:00:29. > :00:32.But first, it's already been a big morning for Team GB at the

:00:33. > :00:35.Paralympics in Sochi. Jade Etherington has got herself on

:00:36. > :00:41.course for her third medal of the winter games. She came first in her

:00:42. > :00:51.opening run of the Slalom. She already has a silver and bronze

:00:52. > :00:54.medal to he her name. 15-year-old Millie, who is due back at school

:00:55. > :00:57.next week, completed the course with ease, she's in sixth place. But

:00:58. > :01:00.British Super-G champion Kelly Gallagher fell during her run again

:01:01. > :01:04.today. Also today marks 25 years since the

:01:05. > :01:08.World Wide Web was invented, the network of pages you visit when you

:01:09. > :01:12.use the internet. It's creator, Sir Tim Berners-Lee has called for a new

:01:13. > :01:17.set of rules to protect the rights of its users. He says people who use

:01:18. > :01:20.the web should be able to do so without feeling that some ones

:01:21. > :01:24.monitoring their every move. Autism is a condition that affects

:01:25. > :01:27.around 500,000 people in the UK. People with autism can have problems

:01:28. > :01:32.relating to others and making sense of the world around them. But now

:01:33. > :01:42.British scientists have come up with a high tech approach to help, by

:01:43. > :01:47.using robots. Here's Ricky. Meet Casper. He might look a bit

:01:48. > :01:53.unusual but this robot is helping young children living with autism.

:01:54. > :01:58.For kids with autism, sometimes even the simplest thing like knowing when

:01:59. > :02:04.someone is happy or sad can be a big challenge. The condition can also

:02:05. > :02:09.make it difficult for them to talk and play with other people. But here

:02:10. > :02:14.at this special school, they have a new robotic teacher helping the kids

:02:15. > :02:21.to learn. Four-year-old Byron gets to play with Casper every week.

:02:22. > :02:30.Shall we say hello? Hello, Biron, I am Casper, let's play together. The

:02:31. > :02:37.good thing about Casper is it does not matter what you say, he always

:02:38. > :02:43.has exactly the same expression and sound every single time. Can you

:02:44. > :02:49.make Casper have a happy face? The teachers say they have noticed an

:02:50. > :02:54.improvement in the way some of the children communicate. And now

:02:55. > :02:59.researchers are working hard to further develop Casper. Engineers in

:03:00. > :03:04.Hertfordshire are using the latest technology to bring these robots to

:03:05. > :03:09.life. They are even using a 3-D printer to create these plastic body

:03:10. > :03:15.parts. Later this year 20 new robots will big event to parents and

:03:16. > :03:18.schools in the UK. Casper will help other children make friends and

:03:19. > :03:21.understand the world around them a bit better.

:03:22. > :03:25.And you've been sending us in your robot designs. Christopher in

:03:26. > :03:30.Woodford Green sent us a picture of his robot called X-Po Boom. He can

:03:31. > :03:34.cook and play ball. Grace in Essex has invented Terry the tidy robot,

:03:35. > :03:38.who gets a good grip on jobs that need to be done around the house.

:03:39. > :03:42.And check out Robot Rex by Florrie and Heidi. Their robot can look

:03:43. > :03:47.after your pet dog when you're out and can even feed and groom it.

:03:48. > :03:55.Head to the website for more, and to send us your own!

:03:56. > :03:58.Arsenal have been knocked out of the Champions League. They drew 1-1 in

:03:59. > :04:03.Germany. Lukas Podolski scoring Arsenal's leveller. It meant they

:04:04. > :04:07.lost the last 16 tie 3-1 overall. The Gunners now only have two more

:04:08. > :04:10.chances for a trophy this season. They're in the FA Cup semifinal and

:04:11. > :04:13.seven points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea.

:04:14. > :04:17.Next to Glasgow where preparations are well underway ahead of the 2014

:04:18. > :04:21.Commonwealth Games. One of the venues having a make-over is Hampden

:04:22. > :04:24.Park, Scotland's national stadium. A brand new athletics surface has been

:04:25. > :04:28.installed and BBC Breakfast's Katherine Downes is one of the first

:04:29. > :04:32.people to see inside! You might think the pictures behind

:04:33. > :04:35.me were taken by an adult, but they actually belong to a 10-year-old boy

:04:36. > :04:38.from Iraq, whose just been described as the country's youngest

:04:39. > :04:41.professional photographer. Qamar Hashim, who has won awards for his

:04:42. > :04:45.professional style, tours the streets of Baghdad to capture people

:04:46. > :04:55.and scenic spots. Hashim said photography is his favourite hobby.

:04:56. > :04:58.At the beginning I went out with my father to photograph art

:04:59. > :05:01.exhibitions. Sometimes he would let me take care of the camera. He was

:05:02. > :05:02.surprised with the pictures I
