0:00:20 > 0:00:21Keep watching to find out what school

0:00:21 > 0:00:22life is like here.

0:00:22 > 0:00:28This is Newsround!

0:00:37 > 0:00:38First to Wimbledon - and massive congratulations

0:00:38 > 0:00:41to Johanna Konta, who has made it through to the semifinals!

0:00:41 > 0:00:43She came through a tough three-set match against Simona Halep

0:00:43 > 0:00:47from Romania, who is ranked number two in the world.

0:00:47 > 0:00:50And the amazing win means Jo is now the first British woman

0:00:50 > 0:00:53to reach the Wimbledon semifinals since 1978.

0:00:53 > 0:00:56And what's even more exciting is that the British number one

0:00:56 > 0:00:58is now the favourite to win.

0:00:58 > 0:01:00Jo says she needed to work really hard,

0:01:00 > 0:01:05because she knew it would be a tough game.

0:01:05 > 0:01:08I knew that going into the match against Simona, she was really not

0:01:08 > 0:01:12going to give me much for free, so I definitely had to be the one

0:01:12 > 0:01:14out there to create my own chances.

0:01:14 > 0:01:17And I felt I did that.

0:01:17 > 0:01:20And defending champion Andy Murray will be in action later on today

0:01:20 > 0:01:23to try and secure his place in the semifinals.

0:01:23 > 0:01:27He'll face American player Sam Querry this afternoon.

0:01:27 > 0:01:31What's it like to have your whole school in just one class?

0:01:31 > 0:01:33Well, on the tiny island of Muck in Scotland,

0:01:33 > 0:01:37there's only one school, with just nine pupils.

0:01:37 > 0:01:39Whitney went to spend a day at their school.

0:01:39 > 0:01:40This is the only school on a tiny island called Mark, in Scotland.

0:01:44 > 0:01:48This is the only school on a tiny island called Muck, in Scotland.

0:01:48 > 0:01:49I'm five!

0:01:49 > 0:01:50I'm seven.

0:01:50 > 0:01:51Ten years old.

0:01:51 > 0:01:52Four.

0:01:52 > 0:01:53Six.

0:01:53 > 0:01:54They are coming so fast.

0:01:54 > 0:01:56Right, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven,

0:01:56 > 0:01:57eight, nine.

0:01:57 > 0:01:58Is that all of them?

0:01:58 > 0:01:59Yes.

0:01:59 > 0:02:01And there is one teacher who teaches everyone.

0:02:01 > 0:02:03Well, it is a bit different from my school.

0:02:03 > 0:02:05I remember there being over 20 people in one

0:02:05 > 0:02:10class, but here, there is nine, and this is the whole school.

0:02:13 > 0:02:14Who is the oldest?

0:02:14 > 0:02:15You're the oldest?

0:02:15 > 0:02:17And who's the youngest?

0:02:17 > 0:02:21I like being the oldest because I like helping people out.

0:02:21 > 0:02:23Like, of somebody was left out and was sad because they didn't get

0:02:27 > 0:02:30Like, if somebody was left out and was sad because they didn't get

0:02:30 > 0:02:32to play, I make sure that they

0:02:32 > 0:02:33are joined in the game.

0:02:33 > 0:02:36They do lots of lessons outside, as well as daily chores.

0:02:36 > 0:02:37So, Jasper, what are we up to today?

0:02:37 > 0:02:40Today we will be collecting the water for the hens

0:02:40 > 0:02:42and giving them new water and new food.

0:02:42 > 0:02:43We do that every day.

0:02:43 > 0:02:44Right now we have got two hens.

0:02:44 > 0:02:51This is Forest School!

0:02:51 > 0:02:54We are, like, building a habitat, which is a thing

0:02:54 > 0:02:57for an animal to fit in.

0:02:57 > 0:03:00We are just finding it on the ground, because we

0:03:00 > 0:03:04are not going to pick any plants, so they don't die.

0:03:04 > 0:03:06From Forest School to another classroom, the beach.

0:03:06 > 0:03:08But what are we doing here?

0:03:08 > 0:03:12We are looking for birds' footprints in the

0:03:12 > 0:03:18sand, so we can put Plaster of Paris mould on it and bring it back

0:03:18 > 0:03:25to school to look at it and see the different shape of the foot.

0:03:25 > 0:03:28What is the best thing about life on the island?

0:03:28 > 0:03:31You can jump off the old pier, that one there, all the way

0:03:31 > 0:03:34into the sea. I've done that.

0:03:34 > 0:03:37I like living on the island because it

0:03:37 > 0:03:40is not like a big city where loads of people know about it,

0:03:40 > 0:03:45and it just feels really safe.

0:03:45 > 0:03:46And take a look at this!

0:03:46 > 0:03:48There's more to this field than meets the eye.

0:03:48 > 0:03:50Ricky's on the case.

0:03:50 > 0:03:53Can you solve the mystery of the maize made from, well, maize?

0:03:53 > 0:03:56It's a curious case, but this field in Leicester has

0:03:56 > 0:04:00a collection of mysterious pathways the size of four and

0:04:00 > 0:04:02a half football pitches!

0:04:02 > 0:04:07And every year it has a new design in the shape of something special.

0:04:07 > 0:04:12It might look a bit corn-fusing up close.

0:04:12 > 0:04:13But like every good detective,

0:04:13 > 0:04:16you need to look at the big picture.

0:04:16 > 0:04:19Follow the twists and turns of the case over the three

0:04:19 > 0:04:21miles of pathways.

0:04:21 > 0:04:24And see if you can spot a pattern emerging...

0:04:24 > 0:04:26Elementary!

0:04:26 > 0:04:29It's Sherlock Holmes!

0:04:29 > 0:04:33Over the summer, the plants will grow even taller, so you can easily

0:04:33 > 0:04:35lose your way.

0:04:35 > 0:04:38People will be able to take on the case and solve

0:04:38 > 0:04:41the mystery themselves when it opens to visitors in a few weeks' time.

0:04:41 > 0:04:48A-maze-ing!

0:04:48 > 0:04:51That's all from me, Newsround's back right here in about half an hour.

0:04:51 > 0:04:54Don't forget to check out the website for all the rest

0:04:54 > 0:04:58of the day's stories.

0:05:09 > 0:05:11Hey, Karim and Rhys here!
