0:01:26 > 0:01:29But Haiti was the worst affected because the country is so poor.
0:01:29 > 0:01:31Charities are working hard to get food and aid into the country.
0:01:31 > 0:01:33Leah has been finding out how children there have been affected.

0:01:51 > 0:01:55Lots of homes were knocked down by the storm and waves,
0:01:55 > 0:01:57and lots of crops growing in the fields were destroyed, too,
0:01:57 > 0:02:02so food like rice is having to be brought in from elsewhere.

0:03:11 > 0:03:14going around at the moment, so we decided to look at the facts.

0:03:16 > 0:03:20It started in the US and Canada - people dressing up as clowns
0:03:20 > 0:03:26and scaring others.
0:03:26 > 0:03:28Now there have been reports from police of it
0:03:28 > 0:03:30happening here in the UK.
0:03:30 > 0:03:31Harmless fun?
0:03:31 > 0:03:33Not everyone thinks so.
0:03:33 > 0:03:35Over the past few weeks, it has also spread online,
0:03:35 > 0:03:40with lots of people posting videos on social media.
0:03:40 > 0:03:43But now some parents say it's getting out of hand
0:03:43 > 0:03:46and there are loads of rumours flying around, like clowns will come
0:03:46 > 0:03:48to your school if you don't share pictures of them.
0:03:48 > 0:03:50None of those are true.
0:03:50 > 0:03:54In the UK, a number of police forces say they're getting calls
0:03:54 > 0:03:55from people who have been frightened when they've seen
0:03:55 > 0:03:58people dressed as clowns.
0:03:58 > 0:04:00The police say there's nothing funny about it.
0:04:00 > 0:04:04The police have put extra patrols on.
0:04:04 > 0:04:06If anybody sees anything, or anybody's frightened, ring
0:04:06 > 0:04:09straightaway, the police will come.
0:04:09 > 0:04:13They don't mind if it was a joke and not a serious clown.
0:04:13 > 0:04:16We've heard that some of you are a bit worried about this
0:04:16 > 0:04:18so we've been taking a closer look at this story.
0:04:18 > 0:04:21It's important to say that these sightings are incredibly rare
0:04:21 > 0:04:24and no one has been hurt.
0:04:24 > 0:04:27And even if it is just a few people having a bit of fun,
0:04:27 > 0:04:31the police say they are taking incidents very seriously.
0:04:31 > 0:04:34They say anyone who dresses up as a clown to scare someone
0:04:34 > 0:04:39on purpose could get into a lot of trouble.
