:00:00. > :00:11.Hi, guys, Ayshah here. First up, Britain's Paralympic
:00:12. > :00:14.curling team have made it to the semifinals. The team got through to
:00:15. > :00:19.the final four despite losing their latest match to China, after other
:00:20. > :00:22.results went their way. Next, you'll probably remember
:00:23. > :00:25.seeing this car on Newsround when we told you about the floods in
:00:26. > :00:35.Somerset earlier this year. Well, the vehicle has now been reunited
:00:36. > :00:40.with its owner. Footage of the car was seen around the world, and even
:00:41. > :00:43.the Prince of Wales passed it on a boat. All right, let's have a look.
:00:44. > :00:46.Amazing. It smells. It's unbelievably disgusting in there. I
:00:47. > :00:50.wasn't expecting my car to be on telly and then eventually to be on
:00:51. > :00:51.international news and the newspapers.
:00:52. > :00:55.All this week on Newsround, we've been showing you the ground-breaking
:00:56. > :00:58.technology behind the next wave of robots. Well, now researchers are
:00:59. > :01:02.developing machines based on some of the smallest and fastest creatures
:01:03. > :01:05.on planet earth. Ricky went to meet the scientists who are creating
:01:06. > :01:09.robots by looking very closely at these - ants!
:01:10. > :01:20.(MUSIC). We've entered this new and exciting
:01:21. > :01:24.phase in robotics where the technology is taking inspiration
:01:25. > :01:36.from nature around us and us humans, too. We're now trying to make robots
:01:37. > :01:41.that will work in the real world, which is a kind of messy, untidy
:01:42. > :01:45.place. The world is full of amazing animals, amazing creatures, who get
:01:46. > :01:51.on perfectly well in the real world. They provide us not only with
:01:52. > :01:56.inspiration but fantastic designs. Tell us about the Swarm and how
:01:57. > :01:59.those robots operate. It's meant to behave like an ant. The collection
:02:00. > :02:09.of robots, so the entire colony of robots, is designed to model the way
:02:10. > :02:12.ants forage for food. Some scientists argue that there isn't
:02:13. > :02:16.much point in basing a robot on a human being, because we're far too
:02:17. > :02:19.complex. So they turned their attention to robots inspired by
:02:20. > :02:28.biology, things like ants, a grasshopoper and even a flea. There
:02:29. > :02:32.are plenty of people still interested in robots that look and
:02:33. > :02:35.behave like people, but many of us realise that most robots that we
:02:36. > :02:44.really need in the real world don't need to look like people and it's
:02:45. > :02:47.probably best if they don't. Finally, Alan Shearer and Robbie
:02:48. > :02:51.Savage are nearing the end of their Sport Relief challenge. The pair are
:02:52. > :02:54.trying to be the first to sit on half the seats in Wembley Stadium.
:02:55. > :02:58.That's 45,000 seats each. They have until tomorrow to finish.
:02:59. > :03:00.That's it for now.
