0:00:49 > 0:00:51of the season in the second half.

0:00:51 > 0:00:54The win means they can still take the title against rivals

0:00:54 > 0:00:57Manchester United next month.

0:00:57 > 0:00:59And there's been a silver medal for Great Britain

0:01:34 > 0:01:36Over in Argentina, thousands of tourists gathered to watch this

0:01:36 > 0:01:37extraordinary moment.

0:01:37 > 0:01:39It's an ice bridge collapsing in a national park in

0:01:39 > 0:01:41the South American country.

0:01:41 > 0:01:43It happens every couple of years when water pressure builds up

0:01:43 > 0:01:51under the ice, making it weak.

0:01:55 > 0:02:01The last time it happened was in 2016.

0:02:01 > 0:02:03OK, history fans, stick around for this -

0:02:03 > 0:02:06we're heading to Liverpool to see an ancient underground army,

0:02:06 > 0:02:09kept hidden for thousands of years.

0:02:09 > 0:02:13Martin's got this.

0:02:13 > 0:02:17This is the Terracotta Army.

0:02:17 > 0:02:19It was buried deep underground secretly guarding the tomb

0:02:19 > 0:02:22of China's first emperor for more than 2,000 years,

0:02:22 > 0:02:28until it was discovered by accident as farmers dug the land.

0:02:28 > 0:02:31The tomb belonged to Qin Shi Huang, the founder of the Chinese empire,

0:02:31 > 0:02:35who had many enemies.

0:02:35 > 0:02:38He believed that these full-size clay soldiers would protect him

0:02:38 > 0:02:41in the next life after he died.

0:02:41 > 0:02:44Now, they've been carefully brought back to the surface and repaired

0:02:44 > 0:02:45for everyone to see.

0:02:45 > 0:02:49But you don't have to go all the way to China to see them.

0:02:49 > 0:02:52Some of them are right here in Liverpool.

0:02:52 > 0:02:54So these kids have been to check them out.

0:02:54 > 0:03:00How long did it take to make the terracotta warriors?

0:03:00 > 0:03:04We do not know how long it took to make one warrior, but as you

0:03:04 > 0:03:06can see, they are so detailed and elaborate, I imagine

0:03:06 > 0:03:09it would have taken quite some time to make each one.

0:03:09 > 0:03:11Each part of the body was made separately,

0:03:11 > 0:03:14so the legs and feet were made, and they were solid clay.

0:03:14 > 0:03:17Because they were so heavy, the base of them had to be quite steady.

0:03:17 > 0:03:19Who were the strongest warriors?

0:03:19 > 0:03:22The warriors are all soldiers who were ready to fight in battle,

0:03:22 > 0:03:26but in another pit nearby were figures that the emperor had

0:03:26 > 0:03:29made to entertain him in the afterlife, and in that pit

0:03:29 > 0:03:31were acrobats and strongmen, and the strongmen figures

0:03:31 > 0:03:33had really big muscles, so I imagine they were

0:03:33 > 0:03:37meant to be very strong.

0:03:37 > 0:03:40So, what do they make of the army?

0:03:40 > 0:03:43I'm so amazed how big the terracotta warriors are.

0:03:43 > 0:03:45I like how they look and they've got armour on,

0:03:45 > 0:03:48they look really detailed.

0:03:48 > 0:03:51When I imagined what they would look like, I was not expecting them

0:03:51 > 0:03:53to be a really big size.

0:03:53 > 0:03:55I think it's actually really impressive that they came from China

0:03:55 > 0:03:58all the way to Liverpool and that they are still in really

0:03:58 > 0:04:06good shape and condition.

0:04:06 > 0:04:09Thanks guys, now from hidden armys to this super fun

0:04:09 > 0:04:10wintry competition.

0:04:10 > 0:04:13And it's a wee bit different than you might think...

0:04:13 > 0:04:16Boys and girls, we're in Krynica Zdroj in southern

0:04:16 > 0:04:19Poland for Ski Splash!

0:04:19 > 0:04:23Ski Splash is an event that takes place in this town every year.

0:04:23 > 0:04:26And as you can see, it's a real hoot.

0:04:26 > 0:04:2950 participants attempted to ski or snowboard across a pool of very,

0:04:29 > 0:04:34very cold water after riding off a slope.

0:04:34 > 0:04:39Wait a minute, that's a boat!

0:04:39 > 0:04:41It combines some good old sense of humour with fun

0:04:41 > 0:04:48and sports competition.

0:04:48 > 0:04:51The best part about it for me is, the competitors dress up

0:04:51 > 0:04:52in anything they like.

0:04:52 > 0:04:54Not because it gets them points.

0:04:54 > 0:04:55But simply because they can.

0:04:55 > 0:04:58I know what my next hobby is!

0:04:58 > 0:05:06You may remember Fiona the Hippo who correctly guessed

0:05:06 > 0:05:08the winners of the Super Bowl - the American football competition -

0:05:08 > 0:05:09earlier this year?

0:05:09 > 0:05:12Well, now Russia has named a cat as its official fortune-teller

0:05:12 > 0:05:13for this summer's World Cup.

0:05:13 > 0:05:16Achilles - yep, that's his name - will have two bowls of food

0:05:16 > 0:05:17representing either side.

0:05:17 > 0:05:22Whichever he eats first will be his favourite to win the game.

0:05:22 > 0:05:26If you've got time before you head to school, take a look at this

0:05:26 > 0:05:30amazing dog at Newsround online - where you can see why he stole

0:05:30 > 0:05:34the show at Crufts over the weekend.

0:05:34 > 0:05:38Plus, Kane tells us what life is like with his adopted parents -

0:05:38 > 0:05:39and how his brother is also adopted.

0:05:39 > 0:05:41And this week's Big Question is all about space.

0:05:41 > 0:05:46Just how big is it?

0:05:46 > 0:05:47We find out from a galaxy expert!

0:05:47 > 0:05:51That's all for now from the Newsround team.

0:05:51 > 0:05:55Hayley's here for you later this afternoon.

0:05:55 > 0:05:56Enjoy your breakfast and have a brilliant day at school.
