:00:00. > :00:07.It's Sunday the 13th of April. Ayshah here with your top stories.

:00:08. > :00:12.Coming up: Find out how Mo's getting on in the marathon.

:00:13. > :00:20.And The Duke and Duchess take to the water in New Zealand. This is

:00:21. > :00:24.Newsround. First, right now thousands of people

:00:25. > :00:28.are taking part in the London Marathon. Mo Farah is just a few

:00:29. > :00:30.miles from the finish line and is currently coming ninth. We'll have

:00:31. > :00:33.the latest results in our last bulletin. 36,000 people are taking

:00:34. > :00:46.part and a staggering 750,000 water bottles will be handed out. Here's a

:00:47. > :00:49.rundown of what's happened so far. On your marks, get set, Mo. The 34th

:00:50. > :00:53.annual London Marathon is well and truly under way. All eyes were on

:00:54. > :00:58.double Olympic champion Mo Farah when the elite race started. But

:00:59. > :01:11.he's not the only one the crowds have come to see, because in total

:01:12. > :01:14.36,000 people are taking part. Last year a staggering 33 million was

:01:15. > :01:18.raised. Some will be in crazy outfits like this, while others will

:01:19. > :01:22.just be glad to finish. And for most of them - it's all in the name of

:01:23. > :01:25.charity. You'll see some familiar faces as well - look out for

:01:26. > :01:28.ex-England Footballer Michael Owen, TV presenter Helen Skelton and Rugby

:01:29. > :01:32.player Lewis Moody. And this is what they have to face - 26.2 miles,

:01:33. > :01:37.passing some of London's biggest landmarks, including the Cutty Sark,

:01:38. > :01:40.Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace. The mini marathon, which was started

:01:41. > :01:43.by Tom Daley, finished earlier. And David Weir narrowly missed out on a

:01:44. > :01:46.seventh marathon win, coming second in the men's wheelchair race. In the

:01:47. > :01:50.women's wheelchair race Tatyana McFadden crossed the finish line way

:01:51. > :01:54.ahead of the rest of the field. Some runners will cross the line in time

:01:55. > :01:57.for lunch, others will be still pounding the streets until late

:01:58. > :02:06.afternoon, but when they finish they can proudly say they've completed

:02:07. > :02:09.the biggest road race in the world. All morning you've been sending in

:02:10. > :02:13.your marathon messages. Amelia says good luck to everyone taking part

:02:14. > :02:16.and especially my dad, who is doing the London Marathon for the sixth

:02:17. > :02:19.time today! Muhammad is cheering on his brother who's doing the

:02:20. > :02:23.marathon. And Izzy says Good luck Mr Clark - everyone at school is

:02:24. > :02:33.rooting for you. Head over to the website to leave

:02:34. > :02:36.your marathon messages. Next, to the crisis in Ukraine,

:02:37. > :02:39.where one of the main people in charge of the country says security

:02:40. > :02:42.forces have started a mission to remove pro-Russia supporters from

:02:43. > :02:45.government and police buildings, after they took them over yesterday.

:02:46. > :02:48.Earlier, Russia warned that any use of force in eastern Ukraine could

:02:49. > :02:52.ruin crisis talks due later this week. Ukraine is a country divided

:02:53. > :02:58.over whether to be closer to Russia, or to the European Union, and has

:02:59. > :03:02.been in crisis during recent months. You can find out more about what's

:03:03. > :03:11.happening in Ukraine with our guide over on the Newsround website.

:03:12. > :03:15.The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have taken to the water in New

:03:16. > :03:18.Zealand today for a high-speed boat ride and have also been involved in

:03:19. > :03:22.a junior rugby match, and it was Prince William's team that were the

:03:23. > :03:25.winners. The sporty day is part of their three week royal tour of New

:03:26. > :03:28.Zealand and Australia. Football and Arsenal scraped through

:03:29. > :03:31.to the FA Cup Final beating the holders Wigan Athletic on penalties.

:03:32. > :03:34.They'll now face either Hull or Sheffield United who play later on

:03:35. > :03:37.today. The early kick-off in the Premier League sees leaders

:03:38. > :03:40.Liverpool taking on Manchester City. If Liverpool win they'll take a huge

:03:41. > :03:45.step towards a first title in 24 years. That game kicks off just

:03:46. > :03:49.after 1.30pm. It should be a fantastic game of

:03:50. > :03:53.football. For us, our focus is on three points because at the end of

:03:54. > :03:57.the day that is what comes out of the game. You gain confidence and

:03:58. > :04:03.belief, but the three points is what we are after. There are five games

:04:04. > :04:07.to go. Even after this one there are 12 points to play for, so we are

:04:08. > :04:15.looking forward to this. It should be a fantastic game.

:04:16. > :04:19.Golf and the 20-year-old American Jordan Speith is bidding to become

:04:20. > :04:22.the youngest ever winner of the Masters in Augusta. It's his first

:04:23. > :04:25.Major Championship and he shares first place with Bubba Watson ahead

:04:26. > :04:28.of today's final round. The best placed British player is England's

:04:29. > :04:32.Lee Westwood who is two under par, that's three shots off the lead.

:04:33. > :04:35.Finally, every Friday on the Newsround website we count down the

:04:36. > :04:39.top three weirdest news stories of the week - Martin's been on the hunt

:04:40. > :04:46.for us to find worlds strangest story - take it away Martin.

:04:47. > :04:50.Strange. It is not something I would like to share my tube journey with,

:04:51. > :04:54.so I can see why these passengers wanted to get out of the way. This

:04:55. > :04:57.rat caused chaos on a New York subway train when it boarded a

:04:58. > :05:00.carriage filled with passengers during rush-hour. Rats aren't that

:05:01. > :05:03.rare in the city, still I wouldn't want round my feet.

:05:04. > :05:11.rare in the city, still I wouldn't want Stranger. Now, you might be

:05:12. > :05:14.mistaken and think this priest in Ireland is auditioning for The

:05:15. > :05:16.Voice, but this burst into song was actually a wedding day surprise for

:05:17. > :05:24.the bride and groom. Ireland is auditioning for The

:05:25. > :05:27.Voice, but this Father Ray Kelly from Oldcastle, Co Meath, started

:05:28. > :05:33.singing his pitch-perfect version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. The

:05:34. > :05:39.lyrics were change especially for the newlyweds, I wonder if he will

:05:40. > :05:43.do a Newsround version. Strangest. Last, but not least, it might not

:05:44. > :05:49.look like much, but this cup has just been sold for ?22 million. The

:05:50. > :05:54.tiny porcelain rarity is over 500 years old and sold at an auction in

:05:55. > :05:58.Hong Kong. Let's hope no one drops it.

:05:59. > :06:03.That's all from me, Newsround's back right here just before 2pm.
