:00:19. > :00:32.Hi, I'm Ricky and this is your Olympic Newsround.

:00:33. > :00:38.The big news today is that Sir Bradley Wiggins has become

:00:39. > :00:39.the greatest British Olympian ever after winning more medals

:00:40. > :00:42.than any other Team GB athlete in history.

:00:43. > :00:47.His gold was just one of three Team GB won on day seven.

:00:48. > :00:54.The velodrome is one of the venues behind me at the Olympic Park.

:00:55. > :00:55.Really busy yesterday, quiet this morning but how amazing was that.

:00:56. > :01:03.This is what happened on day seven. Great Britain's rowers won the first

:01:04. > :01:06.two golds of the day. COMMENTATOR: They have

:01:07. > :01:08.done it in such style! An absolutely phenomenal

:01:09. > :01:09.combination. COMMENTATOR: They are

:01:10. > :01:11.the Olympic champions. They've done it in style again

:01:12. > :01:14.but that's exactly what we expected. And you can see behind me just over

:01:15. > :01:21.there the velodrome. The crowds are gathering outside it

:01:22. > :01:25.and Sir Bradley Wiggins makes his return to the track

:01:26. > :01:28.in the men's team pursuit. COMMENTATOR: Who can find

:01:29. > :01:31.the difference, make a move, to take them over

:01:32. > :01:34.the line in first place? Will it be Britain,

:01:35. > :01:36.will it be Australia? It certainly will be Great Britain

:01:37. > :01:39.and it will be Britain Bradley Wiggins with the men's team

:01:40. > :01:47.pursuit, Team GB have got gold and they've even set

:01:48. > :01:49.a new world record. Wiggo is now the first Briton to win

:01:50. > :01:53.eight Olympic medals as Great Britain won a third

:01:54. > :01:58.gold beating Australia. Instead of tears of joy,

:01:59. > :02:00.Bradley pulled this silly face The last 12 months we have pretty

:02:01. > :02:09.much done everything together. Training camps at altitude,

:02:10. > :02:13.early-morning starts at the track, late finishes at the track

:02:14. > :02:16.before Christmas Day And another first, this time

:02:17. > :02:23.for 25-year-old Bryony Page. COMMENTATOR: Lovely style,

:02:24. > :02:25.lovely control right The first British woman to win

:02:26. > :02:30.an Olympic trampoline And Bryony's medal was one of three

:02:31. > :02:35.British silvers yesterday. The others came from swimmer

:02:36. > :02:38.Jazz Carlin in the 800 metre freestyle and the

:02:39. > :02:41.equestrian dressage team. But Bryony's was the big

:02:42. > :02:46.surprise of the day - she's been telling me how

:02:47. > :02:54.she feels about it. I caught up with her and she was

:02:55. > :02:58.still on cloud nine. COMMENTATOR: Lots of

:02:59. > :03:00.energy into that element. It was just incredible, like,

:03:01. > :03:04.I just, it was absolutely amazing when I found out that I'd

:03:05. > :03:07.at least got a bronze. COMMENTATOR: Bryony Page steps up

:03:08. > :03:10.to the podium and accepts an Olympic I didn't expect to win a medal

:03:11. > :03:17.at all, like, you know, you dream about it and then for it

:03:18. > :03:19.to actually come true Just an incredible feeling

:03:20. > :03:24.and you know, it's going to be hard What has it been like the last four

:03:25. > :03:29.years gearing up for this moment? Yeah, it's been

:03:30. > :03:33.an enjoyable journey. It's had its ups and downs and it's

:03:34. > :03:36.been tough but I have done in improving myself as a person,

:03:37. > :03:41.an athlete and a trampolinist Nutrition, physical fitness,

:03:42. > :03:50.mental approach, everything, The best performance I've done

:03:51. > :04:01.all week and all year. And is it something that kids can

:04:02. > :04:08.just get into quite easily or is it one of those sports which only

:04:09. > :04:11.certain people are good at it? It's good for spatial awareness

:04:12. > :04:15.and building up friendships and team Sport has given me so much more

:04:16. > :04:22.than just medals, it has given me Now earlier this week I caught up

:04:23. > :04:35.with CBBC presenter Steve Backshall, who's engaged to Team GB rower Helen

:04:36. > :04:49.Glover. She won gold in the other day and he

:04:50. > :04:52.said he would cry if she won gold and did he...

:04:53. > :04:55.The amount of work they put in, the amount of effort,

:04:56. > :04:58.all those hours getting up on winter mornings when it's freezing cold,

:04:59. > :05:01.when it's still dark and going out and crashing every single stroke,

:05:02. > :05:03.it was all about today, it was all about coming

:05:04. > :05:09.Well, the six medals we won yesterday have rocketed

:05:10. > :05:14.We now have seven golds, nine silvers and six bronzes.

:05:15. > :05:22.That puts us in third behind the USA and China.

:05:23. > :05:25.And we could hopefully add to that total later today because we've got

:05:26. > :05:28.Super Saturday to look forward to, with loads of medals to be

:05:29. > :05:36.Reigning heptathlon champ Jessica Ennis-Hill is in the gold

:05:37. > :05:38.medal position after four events of seven.

:05:39. > :05:41.Also in action will be 10,000 metre runner Mo Farah and long

:05:42. > :05:46.All three won golds at London 2012 and will be hoping to do it again.

:05:47. > :05:51.Well, that's all from me here in Rio.

:05:52. > :05:57.I'm going to head out into the Olympic Park shortly to get some

:05:58. > :06:00.more sporting action. Tomorrow we will have plenty more. Hopefully

:06:01. > :06:01.more medals for Team GB. Goodbye.
