:00:00. > :00:00.Hi, guys - you're live with me, Leah, and I've got top footy news

:00:00. > :00:10.and some amazing space stories coming right up on Newsround.

:00:11. > :00:23.But first to the Euro 2016 Championship in France

:00:24. > :00:28.because everyone's talking about Group B, where England

:00:29. > :00:33.They're joined by Slovakia and Russia.

:00:34. > :00:35.For Wales, it's their first major tournament for 58 years,

:00:36. > :00:39.and England, who were knocked out of the group stages of the World Cup

:00:40. > :00:41.in Brazil, are hoping for better in Paris.

:00:42. > :00:43.You just take what you get, so we're more than happy,

:00:44. > :00:46.and Chris and I have been friends for a long time.

:00:47. > :00:49.Whatever happens, we'll be friends after the game as well.

:00:50. > :00:51.We are in a group with some top competition, we know that.

:00:52. > :00:53.We know all about England, of course.

:00:54. > :00:55.We know they are going to be very strong.

:00:56. > :00:57.Also Northern Ireland will play world champions Germany,

:00:58. > :01:00.along with Poland and Ukraine in Group C, while the Republic

:01:01. > :01:02.of Ireland take on Italy, Sweden and Belgium in Group E.

:01:03. > :01:04.Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill believes

:01:05. > :01:11.despite a difficult group, they're in with a shout.

:01:12. > :01:17.Will have a difficult game against Poland and Ukraine, but the fact

:01:18. > :01:21.they are the first two games maybe helps us, then we have a massive

:01:22. > :01:22.game to look forward to against Germany in Paris.

:01:23. > :01:27.Next, 200 countries around the world have agreed on a major deal to try

:01:28. > :01:30.World leaders signed up to the plan after two weeks

:01:31. > :01:34.They've said they'll stop the temperature of the earth getting

:01:35. > :01:36.too high by reducing the amount of energy they use.

:01:37. > :01:39.And richer countries have agreed to help poorer ones develop

:01:40. > :01:44.Some people think the deal doesn't go far enough, and America's

:01:45. > :01:51.president says it's just the beginning.

:01:52. > :01:56.No agreement is perfect, including this one. Negotiations that involved

:01:57. > :02:04.nearly 200 nations are always challenging. Even if all the initial

:02:05. > :02:08.targets set in Paris are met, we will only be part of the way there

:02:09. > :02:09.in reducing carbon from the atmosphere, so we can't become

:02:10. > :02:15.placing. -- can't be complacent. We'll have more on this at two

:02:16. > :02:19.o'clock, but there's loads more about that agreement

:02:20. > :02:21.and what climate change Now, this week, astronaut Tim Peake

:02:22. > :02:25.will become the first British man in history to blast off

:02:26. > :02:28.for the International Space Station. The craft he'll travel in has just

:02:29. > :02:31.been moved onto its special launch site, and the BBC's Sarah Rainsford

:02:32. > :02:34.was there to see it all happen. This is the first really big moment

:02:35. > :02:37.in the build-up to launch date, as the Russian spacecraft is rolled

:02:38. > :02:40.slowly out of a vast hangar here, ready finally to take the next group

:02:41. > :02:43.of astronauts up into space. The crew themselves never turn out

:02:44. > :02:49.for the roll-out of the rocket, But the back-up crew are here,

:02:50. > :02:52.those three astronauts For many, it is the first time

:02:53. > :02:59.they've seen the rocket Have you ever seen the rocket

:03:00. > :03:06.up this close before? How are you feeling,

:03:07. > :03:10.looking ahead to the launch itself? We saw him last night,

:03:11. > :03:19.and he's absolutely fine. Well, here to talk to us now

:03:20. > :03:22.about that Tim Peake mission and some other cool space stuff

:03:23. > :03:25.you can actually see live in the sky this evening is space

:03:26. > :03:27.scientist Tim O'Brien Tim, first up, how excited

:03:28. > :03:37.are you by Tim Peake heading I just watched that clip then and

:03:38. > :03:43.saw the rocket rolling out on that cold morning there, here standing up

:03:44. > :03:47.in the background, thinking about what is happening in two days' time

:03:48. > :03:53.when they are launched into space. It will be incredible, we've been

:03:54. > :03:56.covering the build-up. Why is it such a build-up of children? You can

:03:57. > :04:01.see the International Space Station overhead as a bright start. And do

:04:02. > :04:07.think there are people on board that, orbiting the earth, in space,

:04:08. > :04:10.doing experiments, think that is exciting. Maybe a few people

:04:11. > :04:14.watching might go into space themselves, but it is more than just

:04:15. > :04:20.the astronaut, is actually thousands of people, there's a huge team

:04:21. > :04:22.behind him. If you're interested in science and technology, the space

:04:23. > :04:32.industry is a great thing to think having a career in. It has made it

:04:33. > :04:38.very accessible to people. It is a great education, which is going into

:04:39. > :04:45.schools all run the country. We are also talking about some other space

:04:46. > :04:52.stuff. There is going to be a meteor shower from 9pm this evening? Once

:04:53. > :04:55.it goes dark, it will get better. If you are lucky, and keep your fingers

:04:56. > :05:00.crossed the skies are clear, what you will see many more shooting

:05:01. > :05:06.stars than normal, a meteor shower. The great thing about them is you

:05:07. > :05:11.just have to look up. You don't need any special cake. You don't need any

:05:12. > :05:16.telescopes, just look up at the sky, let it build your eyes and you will

:05:17. > :05:22.see the streaks of light in the sky. They're basically little bit of

:05:23. > :05:25.rubble that fell of an asteroid, and as the asteroid orbit the Sun, the

:05:26. > :05:34.Earth passes through that trail and these things heady atmosphere and

:05:35. > :05:40.burn up in the sky. Are you excited? Yes. They are great things. They

:05:41. > :05:44.happen this time of the year. Over the coming days, you will have the

:05:45. > :05:50.chance to see them, so it is always great fun. It is always exciting.

:05:51. > :05:55.Head to the website to find out where the best place to see the

:05:56. > :05:59.meteor today, and what time. That's all from me and turn, have a great

:06:00. > :06:02.afternoon. We are back just before 2pm. Goodbye.
